EXACTLY THIS! This is the most common difficult-to-counterargue argument i see on the internet. When will they finally understand, that there is no solid argument for GenAI? Inspiration? Just look around, it's everywhere! It's great because it's so fast? You've probably never heard of instant gratification, along with the AI-artifacts you can hardly avoid! It's easy? Duh, typing text is easy, and it comes at a very clear cost, which includes lack of creativity and self-expression. AI "art" is the future, you say? Only if it continues being backed by the artists it steals from, dipshit; also, you should know that it's actually absurdly resource-heavy! Seriously, for any argument for GenAI, you can google a counterargument easily! This basically means, that GenAI has no ground to stand on beyond the very deceptive hype built around it. Anyone who STILL stands for GenAI AFTER seeing ALL the counterarguments is basically an internet-troll!
