Przewalski's horses, also known as takh in Mongolia, are the last truly wild horses. A herd photographed in the Chernobyl exclusion zone. Their appearance, with bristly manes and large heads, is reminiscent of horses depicted in 17,000-year-old Lascaux cave paintings in France.

#idk im of two minds about this bc i do think it's good and important to credit artists and writers and such#i have developed academic researcher brain what can i say#but i also pirate and stuff. i don't see it as immoral#i have seen my art that i posted long ago getting repurposed without credit#ive also seen someone else's art from ig that had text in the image. and that text was copied off a tumblr post i made lmao#i was flattered moreso that an artist i follow liked smth i said enough to quote it in her art. i messaged her about it :)
