Yess it’s from the movie/book. But basically the whole plot is that gatsby (you choose whether this is reader or any idol you write for) throws these grand parties that everyone attends, and he does this in hope that daisy, the girl he loves would come. Now this is where you choose whether you want this to be fluff or angst, because daisy is already married and the ending is basically gatsby dying. Idk if I explained the plot well enough?
-👾
Dw I actually understood it :), I’ll watch the movie or read the book to get a more clearer understanding. I might actually end it fluffy 😭

VALENTINE
It’s Valentine’s Day, a day to celebrate and cherish your loved ones. Hanni decided to grow the courage and confess to her long time crush
Warnings; fluff, fem!reader, hands holding, they kiss, a Valentine’s Day fic, a tiny bit rushed, lmk if I missed anything cuz I think there’s a lot that I missed :P 2.1k WC
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Valentine's Day was just around the corner, and the school was buzzing with excitement. Couples were exchanging sweet gifts and love notes, and the air was filled with the scent of roses and chocolate. But for Hanni, the holiday was just a painful reminder of her unrequited love for Y/N.
Hanni sat in class, her eyes fixed on Y/N, who was sitting across the room, oblivious to Hanni's gaze. As the teacher droned on, Hanni's mind began to wander. She thought about how much she wanted to spend Valentine's Day with Y/N, how much she wanted to be the one receiving Y/N's sweet gifts and love notes.
As she daydreamed, Hanni's hand began to move on its own, scribbling down words on a piece of paper. Before she knew it, she had written an entire letter, pouring out her heart and confessing her feelings to Y/N.
Hanni's heart skipped a beat as she read over the letter, her face burning with embarrassment. What was she thinking? She couldn't possibly give this to Y/N! But as she looked over at Y/N, who was now smiling at something on her phone, Hanni felt a surge of determination.
She was going to take a chance. She was going to shoot her shot.
Hanni carefully folded the letter and tucked it into her pocket, her mind racing with thoughts of how she was going to get it to Y/N. She couldn't just hand it to her - that would be way too nerve-wracking. No, she needed a more subtle approach.
As the class drew to a close, Hanni's eyes scanned the room, searching for the perfect opportunity. And then, it hit her - the lockers. She could slip the letter into Y/N's locker when no one was looking.
Hanni's heart was racing as she made her way to her own locker, the letter clutched tightly in her hand. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves. This was it. This was her chance.
With a newfound sense of determination, Hanni set off towards Y/N's locker, the letter at the ready. She was going to do it. She was going to take a chance and see what happened.
But as she approached Y/N's locker, Hanni's nerves began to get the better of her. What if Y/N didn't feel the same way? What if she thought Hanni was crazy?
Hanni's hand hesitated, hovering over the locker. Should she do it? Should she take the chance and risk getting hurt?
The question hung in the air, as Hanni stood there, frozen with uncertainty...
Hanni took a deep breath and slipped the letter into Y/N's locker, her heart racing with anticipation. She didn't dare to linger, fearing that Y/N might catch her in the act. Instead, she quickly scurried away, trying to blend into the crowd of students rushing to their next class.
Meanwhile, Y/N walked up to her locker, oblivious to the surprise waiting for her. She spun the dial on her combination lock and swung the door open, revealing a messy jumble of textbooks, notebooks, and scattered papers.
As she reached in to grab her math textbook, a piece of paper slipped out of the locker and fluttered to the floor. Y/N's curiosity was piqued, and she bent down to pick up the paper, wondering who could have put it there.
As she unfolded the letter and began to read, a soft smile spread across her face. Her eyes scanned the pages, taking in the heartfelt words and sweet sentiments.
Hanni, who had been watching from afar, couldn't help but smile to herself as she saw Y/N's reaction. She had been worried that Y/N might be upset or embarrassed by the letter, but instead, she seemed to be genuinely touched by Hanni's words.
As Y/N continued to read, her smile grew wider, and she looked up, gazing off into space with a dreamy expression. Hanni's heart skipped a beat as she realized that Y/N might actually feel the same way.
For a few moments, the two girls just stood there, lost in their own little worlds. Hanni was savoring the hope that Y/N might return her feelings, while Y/N was basking in the warmth of Hanni's words.
The sound of laughter and chatter from the surrounding students slowly brought them back to reality. Y/N folded the letter and tucked it into her pocket, a secret smile still playing on her lips.
Hanni, meanwhile, turned and slipped away into the crowd, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. She had taken a chance and put her heart on her sleeve, and now all she could do was wait and see how Y/N would respond...
As the day went on, Hanni couldn't shake off the feeling of excitement and nervousness. She kept wondering what Y/N was thinking, and whether she would ever get a response to her letter.
Meanwhile, Y/N was walking around with a spring in her step, feeling like she was floating on air. She couldn't believe that someone had written her such a sweet and heartfelt letter, and she couldn't help but wonder who it could be.
As she walked down the hallway, she caught glimpses of Hanni out of the corner of her eye. She smiled to herself, feeling a sense of connection to the mysterious letter-writer.
At lunchtime, Y/N sat down at her usual table, lost in thought. Her friends tried to chat with her, but she was too distracted to respond.
Just then, Hanni walked by, carrying a tray of food. She caught Y/N's eye and smiled shyly, before quickly looking away.
Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she realized that maybe Hanni had been the one to write the letter. She felt a rush of excitement and curiosity, and she couldn't help but wonder what Hanni's intentions were.
As the rest of the day went on, Y/N found herself stealing glances at Hanni, trying to read her expression. She couldn't believe that she had been so blind to Hanni's feelings before, and she couldn't help but wonder what other secrets Hanni might be hiding.
As the final bell rang, Y/N gathered her things and headed out of the classroom. She caught up with Hanni in the hallway, and fell into step beside her.
"Hey," Y/N said softly, trying to sound casual. "What's up?"
Hanni looked over at her, a hint of a smile on her face. "Not much," she replied. "Just heading home."
Y/N nodded, trying to think of something to say next. She didn't want the conversation to end, not yet.
As they walked, the silence between them grew thicker, until it felt like a palpable thing. Y/N knew that she had to say something, or risk losing the moment forever.
But what could she say? And how could she possibly convey the emotions that were swirling inside her?
As they walked, Y/N's mind was racing with thoughts and questions. She couldn't believe that Hanni might have feelings for her, and she couldn't help but wonder what had prompted her to write such a heartfelt letter.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Y/N worked up the courage to speak. "Hanni, can I ask you something?" she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Hanni looked over at her, a curious expression on her face. "What is it?" she asked.
Y/N took a deep breath before blurting out the question that had been on her mind all day. "Was it you who wrote the letter?" she asked, her heart pounding in her chest.
Hanni's eyes widened in surprise, and for a moment, she just stared at Y/N, her face frozen in a mixture of shock and embarrassment.
But then, to Y/N's surprise, Hanni nodded, a small smile spreading across her face. "Yeah," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I wrote it."
Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she processed Hanni's response. She couldn't believe that Hanni had confessed her feelings in such a bold and romantic way.
As they walked, the silence between them grew thicker, until it felt like a palpable thing. Y/N knew that she had to say something, but she didn't know what.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Y/N spoke up. "Why did you write it?" she asked, her voice filled with curiosity.
Hanni looked over at her, a hint of vulnerability in her eyes. "Because I wanted you to know how I feel," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've had feelings for you for a long time, and I couldn't keep it inside anymore."
Y/N's heart melted at Hanni's words, and she felt a rush of emotions that she couldn't quite process. She didn't know what to say, or how to respond.
But as she looked into Hanni's eyes, she knew that she had to say something. Anything.
Y/N's eyes locked onto Hanni's, and she felt like she was drowning in their depths. She couldn't believe that Hanni had confessed her feelings in such a bold and romantic way.
As she searched for words, Y/N's mind was racing with thoughts and emotions. She had never considered the possibility that Hanni might have feelings for her, but now that she thought about it, it made perfect sense.
Hanni's smile, her laugh, her quirky sense of humor... it all added up to a person who was kind, caring, and genuine. And as Y/N looked into Hanni's eyes, she felt a spark of attraction that she couldn't ignore.
"I..." Y/N started to say, but her voice trailed off. She didn't know what to say, or how to respond.
Hanni's face fell, and she looked away, her eyes welling up with tears. "It's okay," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just wanted to be honest with you. I know it's a lot to take in."
Y/N's heart went out to Hanni, and she felt a surge of compassion and empathy. She reached out and took Hanni's hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.
"Hanni, wait," Y/N said, her voice filled with emotion. "I'm not saying no. I'm just... surprised. And I need some time to think."
Hanni's face lit up with hope, and she looked at Y/N with tears in her eyes. "Really?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Y/N nodded, smiling softly. "Really," she said. "I promise."
As they stood there, hands touching, Y/N felt a sense of connection and understanding that she had never felt before. She knew that she had a lot to think about, but she also knew that she couldn't ignore the spark that had ignited between them.
Time skipped forward, and the days turned into weeks. Y/N and Hanni continued to cross paths, but their interactions were limited to casual conversations and friendly smiles.
Y/N couldn't shake off the feeling that Hanni's confession had left on her. She had thought about it nonstop, weighing her own feelings and emotions. And as the days went by, she realized that her feelings for Hanni went beyond friendship.
One day, as they were walking out of school, Y/N caught up with Hanni. "Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?" she asked, her heart racing with anticipation.
Hanni looked at her curiously, but nodded and followed Y/N to a quiet spot outside the school gates.
Y/N took a deep breath, her hands shaking slightly. "I've been thinking a lot about what you said," she began, her voice barely above a whisper. "And I have to admit, I've developed feelings for you too."
Hanni's eyes widened in surprise, and for a moment, she just stared at Y/N. Then, a radiant smile spread across her face. "Really?" she asked, her voice trembling with excitement.
Y/N nodded, smiling back at Hanni. "Really," she said, her heart soaring with happiness.
And with that, Y/N and Hanni shared their first kiss, under the warm sunshine and amidst the bustling sounds of the school yard.
As they pulled away, Hanni grinned at Y/N. "I'm so glad I took a chance and confessed," she said, her eyes sparkling with happiness.
Y/N smiled back, feeling a sense of joy and contentment. "Me too," she said, taking Hanni's hand in hers.
And as they walked off into the sunset, hand in hand, Y/N knew that this was just the beginning of their love story.

After getting tired of hearing manon weep about her ex girlfriend, her friends thinks it’s a good idea to implant the thought of ways to possibly win her ex back
Warnings; fluff, fem!reader, db manon, hands holding, exes to lovers, they say I love you like more than 3 times, they’re so in love ughhh, based on a real life situation, they kiss, lmk if I missed anything cuz I think there’s a lot that I missed :P 3.2k WC

Manon's friends had had enough of her moping around campus. It had been weeks since her breakup with y/n, and Manon was still stuck in a rut. She'd lost interest in her favorite hobbies, her grades were slipping, and she'd even stopped bothering to style her hair in the morning. Her friends had tried everything to get her out of her funk - from dragging her to parties to forcing her to watch hours of rom-coms - but nothing seemed to be working.
That was when they came up with the plan. It was bold, it was daring, and it was just a little bit crazy. But Manon's friends were convinced it was the only way to get her back with y/n, and they were determined to make it happen.
As Manon sat in the cafeteria, nursing a cup of cold coffee and staring blankly out the window, her friends gathered around her, their eyes shining with excitement. "Okay, Manon, we've got a plan," one of them said, barely containing her grin. "And it's going to get you back with y/n in no time."
Manon raised an eyebrow, skeptical. "What is it?" she asked, her voice laced with doubt.
Her friends leaned in, their voices barely above a whisper. "We're going to get you to pull y/n aside, alone, and then... well, then it's up to you."
Manon's eyes widened as she realized what her friends were suggesting. It was crazy, it was reckless, and it was just a little bit terrifying. But as she thought about it, she couldn't help but feel a spark of hope. Maybe, just maybe, this was the chance she needed to win y/n back.
Manon's heart was racing as she thought about the plan. She had to admit, it was tempting. She had been wanting to talk to y/n for weeks, but every time she saw her, she froze up. This could be her chance to finally express her feelings and see if there was still a spark between them.
"Okay, I'll do it," Manon said finally, trying to sound confident.
Her friends cheered and clapped, excited that their plan was going to work. "We'll help you come up with a script and everything," one of them said. "You'll be a pro in no time."
Manon smiled, feeling a sense of determination wash over her. She was going to do this, and she was going to make it work.
The rest of the day was a blur as Manon and her friends worked on the plan. They came up with a script, practiced Manon's lines, and even rehearsed the whole thing in front of the mirror.
By the time the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, Manon was feeling more confident than she had in weeks. She was ready to do this.
As she walked out of the school building, Manon scanned the courtyard, looking for y/n. She spotted her standing by the fountain, laughing with a group of friends.
Manon took a deep breath, feeling her heart pound in her chest. This was it. This was her chance.
She started to walk towards y/n, her friends cheering her on from behind. Manon's palms were sweaty, and her legs felt like jelly, but she didn't let that stop her.
She reached out and grabbed y/n's hand, pulling her aside. "Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?" Manon asked, trying to sound casual.
y/n looked at her in surprise, but she nodded and followed Manon to a more secluded area.
Manon's heart was racing as she looked at y/n. This was it. This was her chance to tell y/n how she really felt.
But as she looked into y/n's eyes, Manon felt her confidence start to slip. What if y/n didn't feel the same way? What if she had moved on?
Manon's mind was racing with doubts and fears, but she knew she had to push through them. She took a deep breath and started to speak...
y/n raised an eyebrow, looking at Manon with a mixture of confusion and amusement. "Hey, are you okay?" she asked, her voice soft and gentle.
Manon felt her face heat up with embarrassment. She quickly looked away, trying to compose herself. But she couldn't help sneaking another glance at y/n.
y/n's eyes sparkled with laughter, and she took a step closer to Manon. "Seriously, what's going on?" she asked, her voice low and husky.
Manon's heart skipped a beat as she felt y/n's warm breath on her skin. She swallowed hard, trying to find her voice. But all she could manage was a weak smile.
y/n's expression softened, and she reached out to gently brush a strand of hair out of Manon's face. "Hey, it's okay," she said, her voice full of kindness. "You can tell me what's wrong."
Manon's heart melted at y/n's touch. She felt like she was drowning in y/n's eyes, and she couldn't look away. She was trapped in the moment, unable to speak or move.
All she could do was stare at y/n, her heart pounding in her chest. She was completely at y/n's mercy, and she didn't even care.
Manon's eyes darted around, avoiding y/n's gaze. She fidgeted with her hands, trying to appear calm. "I don't know, I just...I wanted to know if you're doing okay, I guess," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
y/n's expression changed from soft to curious. She took a step closer to Manon, her eyes locked on hers. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice low and gentle.
Manon's heart skipped a beat as y/n's face drew closer. She could feel y/n's warm breath on her skin, and it sent shivers down her spine. She tried to focus on the conversation, but her mind kept wandering back to the way y/n's eyes sparkled in the sunlight.
"I mean, after we broke up, I just...I wanted to make sure you're doing okay," Manon repeated, trying to sound casual despite her racing heart.
y/n's eyes searched Manon's face, as if looking for something. After a moment, she nodded slowly. "I'm doing okay, I guess," she said, her voice measured. "But I have to ask, Manon...why are you asking me this now?"
Manon's eyes dropped to the ground, and she shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant. "I don't know, I just...I care about you, I guess," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
y/n's expression softened, and she took another step closer to Manon. "You care about me?" she repeated, her voice low and gentle.
Manon's heart skipped a beat as y/n's face drew even closer. She could feel y/n's warm breath on her skin, and it sent shivers down her spine. She nodded slowly, her eyes still fixed on the ground.
y/n's hand reached out, and she gently lifted Manon's chin, forcing her to meet her gaze. "Manon, look at me," she said, her voice soft but firm.
Manon's eyes locked onto y/n's, and she felt like she was drowning in their depths. She couldn't look away, couldn't breathe. All she could do was stare at y/n, her heart pounding in her chest.
Manon's eyes locked onto y/n's, and she felt like she was drowning in their depths. She couldn't look away, couldn't breathe. All she could do was stare at y/n, her heart pounding in her chest.
y/n's eyes searched Manon's face, as if looking for something. After a moment, she nodded slowly. "I care about you too, Manon," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Manon's heart skipped a beat. She hadn't expected y/n to say that. She thought she'd be angry, or hurt, or maybe even indifferent. But instead, y/n's words sent a warmth spreading through her chest.
"Really?" Manon asked, her voice shaking slightly.
y/n nodded again. "Really," she repeated. "But I have to ask, Manon...what do you want from me?"
Manon's eyes dropped to the ground again. She hadn't thought this far ahead. She'd just wanted to talk to y/n, to see how she was doing. But now, faced with y/n's question, she realized she didn't know what she wanted.
"I don't know," Manon admitted, feeling a little foolish.
y/n's expression softened. "It's okay, Manon," she said. "We can figure it out together."
Manon's heart swelled with emotion. She felt a sense of hope she hadn't felt in weeks. Maybe, just maybe, she and y/n could work things out.
As they stood there, locked in each other's gaze, Manon felt like she was melting into y/n's eyes. She couldn't look away, couldn't breathe. All she could do was stare at y/n, her heart pounding in her chest.
The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a moment of pure possibility.
Manon took a deep breath, her heart racing with anticipation. She knew it was a risk, but she couldn't help how she felt. "I want to get back together," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
y/n's expression changed, a mix of surprise and curiosity crossing her face. But as she looked into Manon's eyes, she saw the sincerity and vulnerability there. She saw the love and regret that Manon had been carrying around for weeks.
y/n's face softened, and she took a step closer to Manon. "I've missed you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Manon's heart skipped a beat. "I've missed you too," she replied, her voice shaking with emotion.
y/n's eyes searched Manon's face, and she saw the love and devotion there. She saw the girl who had captured her heart, and she knew that she couldn't resist her.
"Okay," y/n said finally, a small smile on her face. "Let's try again."
Manon's face lit up with joy, and she threw her arms around y/n. "I promise I won't mess it up this time," she whispered, her voice muffled against y/n's shoulder.
y/n laughed and hugged her back. "I promise to forgive you if you do," she replied, her voice filled with warmth and love.
As they hugged, Manon felt a sense of relief and happiness wash over her. She had gotten a second chance, and she was determined to make the most of it. She held y/n close, feeling grateful for this new beginning, and knowing that their love was strong enough to overcome any obstacle.
As they hugged, Manon's face accidentally brushed against y/n's lips, causing them to share a sweet, unexpected kiss. It was a brief, gentle touch, but it sent shivers down Manon's spine. She pulled back, her face flushing with surprise and delight.
y/n's eyes sparkled with amusement, and she smiled softly. "I guess we're a little rusty at this," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Manon laughed, feeling a little self-conscious but also relieved that y/n wasn't upset. "I guess so," she replied, her voice shaking slightly.
As they stood there, smiling at each other, Manon felt a sense of connection and intimacy that she hadn't felt in weeks. It was like no time had passed at all, and they were back to where they had started.
y/n's eyes never left Manon's face, and after a moment, she reached out and took Manon's hand. "Let's walk," she said, her voice soft and gentle.
Manon's heart skipped a beat as she felt y/n's hand wrap around hers. It was a simple gesture, but it felt like so much more. It felt like a promise, a commitment to each other.
As they walked, hand in hand, Manon felt a sense of happiness and contentment wash over her. She had never felt this way with anyone before, and she knew that she never would again.
They walked in comfortable silence for a few minutes, enjoying the warm sunshine and the sound of birds chirping in the trees. It was a peaceful, idyllic scene, and Manon felt grateful to be a part of it.
As they turned a corner, they were surprised to see a group of people watching them. Manon's face flushed with embarrassment, and she tried to pull her hand out of y/n's.
But y/n just laughed and held on tight. "Don't worry about it," she said, her voice amused. "We're just happy, that's all."
Manon smiled, feeling a little self-conscious but also relieved that y/n wasn't upset. "I guess we are," she replied, her voice shaking slightly.
The group of people cheered and clapped, and Manon's face flushed with embarrassment. But y/n just laughed and waved, enjoying the attention.
As they walked away, hand in hand, Manon felt a sense of happiness and contentment wash over her. She knew that she had found her soulmate in y/n, and she was grateful for every moment they spent together.
They walked for a few more minutes, enjoying the sunshine and each other's company. They talked about their plans for the future, their dreams and aspirations.
As they walked, Manon felt a sense of connection and intimacy with y/n that she had never felt before. It was like they were two pieces of a puzzle, fitting together perfectly.
After a while, they decided to stop and get some ice cream. They sat down at a small table outside, enjoying the warm sunshine and each other's company.
As they ate their ice cream, Manon felt a sense of happiness and contentment wash over her. She knew that she had found her soulmate in y/n, and she was grateful for every moment they spent together.
They sat there for a few more minutes, enjoying each other's company. They talked about their plans for the future, their dreams and aspirations.
As they sat there, Manon felt a sense of connection and intimacy with y/n that she had never felt before. It was like they were two pieces of a puzzle, fitting together perfectly.
After a while, they decided to walk some more. They strolled through the park, enjoying the warm sunshine and each other's company.
As they walked, Manon felt a sense of happiness and contentment wash over her. She knew that she had found her soulmate in y/n, and she was grateful for every moment they spent together.

As they walked, Manon felt a sense of connection and intimacy with y/n that she had never felt before.
As the evening drew to a close, Manon and y/n decided to head back to y/n's place for a quiet dinner together. They spent the evening cooking up a storm in the kitchen, laughing and chatting as they worked.
As they sat down to eat, Manon couldn't help but feel grateful for this second chance with y/n. She looked across the table at y/n, who was smiling at her with eyes that shone with love.
"Thank you for tonight," Manon said, her voice filled with emotion. "I'm so grateful to have you back in my life."
y/n's smile softened, and she reached out to take Manon's hand. "I'm grateful too," she said. "I promise to always communicate with you, to listen to you and support you. I love you, Manon."
Manon's heart swelled with love and gratitude. "I love you too, y/n," she replied, squeezing her hand gently. "I promise to do the same - to always be there for you, to listen to you and support you. I'm so sorry again for what happened before. I promise to make it up to you."
y/n's eyes sparkled with tears as she smiled at Manon. "You don't have to make it up to me," she said. "You're already doing it, just by being here with me. I love you, Manon."
As they finished their meal and sat together in comfortable silence, Manon knew that their love was stronger than ever. They had been given a second chance, and they were determined to make the most of it.
As they sat together in comfortable silence, Manon felt y/n's eyes on her, and she knew that she was being drawn into a kiss. She leaned in, her heart pounding with excitement, and y/n met her halfway.
Their lips touched, and Manon felt a spark of electricity run through her body. The kiss was soft and gentle, but it was also filled with a deep passion and love.
As they kissed, Manon felt like she was home. She felt like she was exactly where she was meant to be, with the person she was meant to be with.
y/n's arms wrapped around her, pulling her close, and Manon felt like she was melting into her. The kiss deepened, and Manon felt like she was drowning in y/n's love.
As they broke apart for air, Manon smiled up at y/n, feeling happy and content. "I love you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
y/n smiled back, her eyes shining with love. "I love you too," she replied, her voice filled with emotion.
As they sat together, wrapped in each other's arms, Manon knew that she had found her forever love in y/n. And she knew that she would never let her go again.

You trudged into your dorm room, lugging a heavy suitcase behind you. You were not thrilled about sharing a room with a stranger, but it was a necessary evil. You'd heard horror stories about dorm roommates, but you were determined to make the best of it.
As you entered the room, you were greeted by a messy-haired girl sprawled across the bed, surrounded by art supplies. She looked up at you with a scowl, her eyes narrowing.
"Great, you must be my roommate," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm Manon."
You raised an eyebrow, taken aback by her attitude. "Nice to meet you, Manon," you said, trying to keep your tone neutral. "I'm Y/n."
Manon snorted, rolling her eyes. "Let me guess. A med major, huh? How original."
You felt a spark of irritation, but you bit back a retort. You didn't want to start off on the wrong foot.
As you began to unpack, Manon barely acknowledged your presence, too busy sketching in her notebook. You tried to make small talk, but she responded with monosyllabic grunts.
It was clear that Manon was not thrilled about sharing a room with you. But you were determined to make the best of it, even if it killed you.
As the days went by, you settled into a routine. Manon would spend most of her time drawing or painting, while you'd study for your med school classes. The tension between you was palpable, but you tried to ignore it.
But despite the rocky start, you began to notice little things about Manon. The way she smiled to herself when she was drawing, the way her eyes sparkled when she talked about art.
And Manon, despite her tough exterior, seemed to be warming up to you. She'd occasionally ask you for advice on her art projects or share her favorite snacks with you.
It was a small start, but you sensed that there might be more to Manon than met the eye.
You'd always been a tidy person, and you took pride in keeping your space organized. So, when Manon started to spread her art supplies all over the room, you felt a growing sense of frustration.
At first, it was just a few sketchbooks and pencils scattered across the desk. But as the days went by, the clutter grew. Paints, canvases, and half-finished projects took over the floor, the bed, and even the windowsill.
You tried to be patient, reminding yourself that Manon was an art major and needed space to create. But as the mess grew, so did your annoyance.
One day, as you were trying to study for an exam, you realized that you couldn't even see the surface of your desk anymore. Manon's art supplies had taken over, and you felt like you were drowning in a sea of paper, paint, and glitter.
"Manon, can we talk?" you asked, trying to keep your tone neutral.
Manon looked up from her latest project, a half-finished painting that was taking up most of the floor. "What's up?" she asked, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"It's just...the room is getting really cluttered," you said, trying to choose your words carefully. "I know you need space to create, but I need some space to study."
Manon raised an eyebrow. "You're not exactly the most exciting person to live with," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm just trying to add some personality to this drab room."
You felt a surge of irritation, but you tried to keep your cool. "I understand that, but can we find a compromise? Maybe we can set up a designated art space for you, and I can have some space to study?"
Manon snorted. "You want to restrict my creativity? No way."
The conversation quickly escalated into a full-blown argument, with both of you shouting over each other. The tension between you was palpable, and it seemed like the room was shrinking by the minute.
As the argument reached its peak, the RA knocked on the door, asking you to keep the noise down. You both glared at each other, still fuming, before Manon stormed out of the room, leaving you to seethe in silence.
The room was still cluttered, and the tension between you and Manon was thicker than ever. You wondered how you were going to survive the rest of the semester with this much animosity between you.
You gazed around the cluttered room, feeling a sense of irritation wash over you. Manon's art supplies were scattered everywhere, making it impossible for you to focus on your studies. You let out a deep sigh and decided to take matters into your own hands.
You started to pick up the scattered art supplies, carefully organizing them into neat piles. As you worked, you couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. The room was starting to look more like a peaceful sanctuary, and less like a chaotic art studio.
As you finished up, you stepped back to admire your handiwork. The room was transformed, with Manon's art supplies neatly organized and out of the way. You let out a sigh of relief and settled back into your chair, ready to focus on your studies.
Just as you were getting into the zone, you heard the sound of the front door opening, followed by the creak of the door to your room. You looked up to see Manon standing in the doorway, a scowl on her face and a bag of groceries in her hand.
For a moment, you just looked at her, taking in the sight of her rumpled clothes and messy hair. She looked like she'd just rolled out of bed, and you couldn't help but wonder what she'd been up to.
Manon's scowl deepened as she caught your eye, and she quickly looked away, her cheeks flushing with a soft pink hue. You raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her sudden shyness.
Without a word, Manon walked over to your desk and dumped the bag of groceries onto the surface. You looked at the pile of snacks in surprise, wondering what she was doing.
As you gazed up at Manon, you saw a flicker of apology in her eyes, but her expression remained stubbornly scowled. "I brought snacks, as an apology for my attitude earlier" she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.
You felt a surge of surprise at her words, but you quickly pushed it aside. Instead, you smiled at her, a warm, soft smile that you hoped would put her at ease.
"Thanks, Manon," you said, your voice gentle. "That's really sweet of you."
Manon's scowl faltered for a moment, and you saw a glimmer of surprise in her eyes. She seemed taken aback by your warm response, and for a moment, you wondered if you'd misread the situation entirely.
But then Manon's expression hardened again, and she turned away, muttering something under her breath. You watched her go, feeling a sense of confusion wash over you.
What was going on with Manon? You wondered. One minute she was scowling at you, and the next she was bringing you snacks and apologizing. You shook your head, feeling a sense of bewilderment.
As you turned back to your studies, you couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity about Manon's sudden change of heart. What had brought it on? And what did it mean for your tumultuous relationship?
The questions swirled in your mind as you delved back into your studies, but you couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Manon's apology had been unexpected, to say the least, and you wondered what other surprises she had in store for you.
Manon burst into the room, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Tonight's the night!" she exclaimed, tossing her bag onto the bed.
You looked up from your book, raising an eyebrow. "What's tonight?" you asked, a hint of wariness creeping into your voice.
Manon grinned. "Tonight, we're going out!" she said, her voice dripping with excitement. "We're going to paint the town red, or at least, we're going to try."
You hesitated, unsure if you were ready for a night out with Manon. She had a reputation for being unpredictable, and you weren't sure if you were ready for whatever adventure she had planned.
But Manon's enthusiasm was infectious, and before you knew it, you were swept up in her excitement. "Okay, fine," you said, tossing your book aside. "But if we get into trouble, I'm blaming you."
Manon whooped, pumping her fist in the air. "That's the spirit!" she exclaimed, grabbing your arm and pulling you out of the room.
As you hit the streets, you realized that Manon had no clear plan in mind. She seemed to be making it up as she went along, dragging you from one random location to the next.
You found yourself laughing and joking with Manon, feeling a sense of freedom and release that you hadn't experienced in weeks. It was like you'd left your worries and cares behind, and were just living in the moment.
But as the night wore on, things started to get a little out of hand. Manon convinced you to join her in a karaoke bar, where you proceeded to butcher a rendition of your favorite song. The crowd was merciless, and you found yourself laughing and cringing at the same time.
Next, Manon dragged you to a street food stall, where you sampled some of the most exotic and bizarre foods you'd ever encountered. Some of it was delicious, while other dishes were downright terrifying.
As the night drew to a close, Manon convinced you to join her in a crazy dance party, where you found yourself surrounded by pulsating lights and thumping music. You lost yourself in the beat, feeling a sense of abandon and freedom that you hadn't experienced in years.
It wasn't until the sun started to rise that you realized just how late it was. Manon grinned at you, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Best night ever, right?" she exclaimed, linking her arm through yours.
You couldn't help but laugh, feeling a sense of exhilaration and exhaustion. "Definitely one for the books," you agreed, shaking your head in wonder.
As you stumbled back to the dorm, the sun rising over the horizon, you couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Manon. She'd pushed you out of your comfort zone, and shown you a side of yourself that you never knew existed.
And as you drifted off to sleep, your head spinning with memories of the night's adventures, you couldn't help but wonder what other surprises Manon had in store for you.
You woke up to the sound of laughter and chatter coming from downstairs. You rubbed the sleep from your eyes, wondering who could be visiting at such an early hour. You tossed off the covers and swung your legs over the side of the bed, deciding that the best time to investigate was when you went to get a glass of water from the kitchen.
As you made your way downstairs, the noise grew louder, and you could tell that Manon was entertaining a guest. You stepped into the living room, and your eyes landed on Manon, who was lounging on the couch with a blonde, curly-haired girl. They both turned to look at you, and you offered a simple "morning" before heading to the kitchen.
As you poured yourself a glass of water, you couldn't help but overhear the conversation between Manon and her friend. The blonde girl was chatting away, asking Manon about her summer plans, and Manon was responding with her usual sarcastic humor. But then, the girl's attention turned to you, and you heard her say, "Who's that cutie? I hope she's up for grabs."
You felt a flush rise to your cheeks as you listened to Manon's response. "She's my roommate," Manon said, her voice firm, "and I'm 90% sure she isn't single." Manon's expression narrowed, and you could sense a hint of protectiveness in her tone.
You stood in the kitchen, frozen, wondering what Manon meant by that statement. Why was she so sure you weren't single? And why did she seem so invested in keeping her friend away from you? You felt a shiver run down your spine as you realized that Manon might be more perceptive than you gave her credit for.
As you stood there, lost in thought, the conversation between Manon and her friend continued. The blonde girl was teasing Manon about being possessive, and Manon was laughing it off, but you could sense an undercurrent of tension. It was clear that Manon was not interested in sharing you with her friend, but you weren't sure why.
You took a deep breath and tried to shake off the feeling of unease. You told yourself that Manon was just being protective, that she didn't want her friend to get hurt. But as you stood there, listening to the conversation, you couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to it than that.
After a few minutes, you composed yourself and headed back upstairs, trying to act nonchalant. But as you lay in bed, you couldn't help but wonder what Manon's intentions were. Was she really just being protective, or was there something more to it?
You decided to brush it off and pretend you didn't hear the conversation. You told yourself that it was none of your business, and that Manon was probably just joking around with her friend.
As you went about your day, you tried to avoid thinking about the conversation. You focused on your studies, worked on a project, and even managed to squeeze in a quick workout. But despite your best efforts, you couldn't shake off the feeling that something had shifted between you and Manon.
When Manon's friend left later that day, Manon came upstairs to grab a book from her shelf. She caught your eye and smiled, but you just nodded and looked away, trying to play it cool.
Manon seemed to sense that something was off, because she lingered in the doorway, watching you with a curious expression. "Hey, is everything okay?" she asked, her voice soft.
You forced a smile and nodded. "Yeah, everything's fine," you said, trying to sound casual. "Just studying for an exam."
Manon raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying it. But she didn't push the issue, just nodded and headed back downstairs.
As the day drew to a close, you couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if you'd confronted Manon about the conversation. Would she have confessed her feelings, or would she have brushed it off as a joke?
You shook your head, telling yourself that it was better to just let it go. But as you drifted off to sleep, you couldn't shake the feeling that you'd missed an opportunity to explore something deeper with Manon.
The next morning, you woke up to find Manon already up and about, making breakfast in the kitchen. She smiled at you as you entered the kitchen, and you felt a flutter in your chest.
"Morning," she said, her voice bright. "I made pancakes."
You smiled back, feeling a sense of normalcy wash over you. Maybe, just maybe, you'd imagined the whole thing.
But as you sat down to eat, you caught Manon watching you, a curious expression on her face. And you wondered, once again, what she was really thinking.
You decided to try to make small talk and see if you could get a read on Manon's feelings. As you sat down to eat, you asked her about her plans for the day.
Manon launched into a detailed explanation of her art project, telling you about the inspiration behind it and the techniques she was using. You listened intently, asking questions and making supportive noises.
As you chatted, you couldn't help but notice the way Manon's eyes sparkled when she talked about her art. She was so passionate about it, and it was infectious. You found yourself getting caught up in her enthusiasm, feeling a sense of excitement and creativity.
But despite the easy conversation, you couldn't shake the feeling that there was something underlying between you. You kept catching Manon looking at you, her expression soft and curious. And when you met her eye, she would quickly look away, a faint blush rising to her cheeks.
You wondered if you were imagining things, if you were just reading too much into the situation. But as you continued to chat, you started to feel a sense of tension building between you. It was like there was a question hanging in the air, a question that neither of you was willing to ask.
As you finished up your breakfast, Manon suggested that you work on your respective projects together. She set up her easel in the living room, and you settled in at the kitchen table with your books and notes.
As you worked, the silence between you was comfortable, but you could sense the undercurrent of tension. You kept looking up to find Manon watching you, her eyes narrowed in concentration. And when you caught her eye, she would smile and look away, leaving you feeling frustrated and curious.
As the morning wore on, the tension between you started to feel almost palpable. You could sense that Manon was waiting for something, but you had no idea what. And as you worked, you found yourself wondering if you were brave enough to take the leap and find out.
Just as you were starting to feel like you couldn't take the tension anymore, Manon suddenly spoke up. "Hey, can I ask you something?" she said, her voice soft and tentative.
You looked up, your heart skipping a beat. "Of course," you said, trying to sound casual. "What's up?"
Manon hesitated, her eyes darting back and forth. And then, in a rush, she asked, "Do you have a girlfriend?"
You felt like you'd been punched in the gut. You hadn't expected the question, and you didn't know how to respond. Part of you wanted to tell Manon the truth, to confess that you were single and interested. But another part of you was scared, scared of getting hurt and scared of ruining your friendship with Manon.
As you hesitated, Manon's face fell, and she looked away, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "Never mind," she muttered. "It's none of my business."
You felt a pang of regret, knowing that you'd missed an opportunity to be honest with Manon. But as you looked at her, you saw the tension in her shoulders, the vulnerability in her eyes. And you knew that you had to find a way to respond, to let her know that you valued her and your friendship.
You smiled softly and reached out, placing a reassuring hand on Manon's arm. "Hey, don't worry about it," you said, trying to put her at ease. "I'm single, so you don't have to worry about stepping on anyone's toes."
Manon's face lit up with a radiant smile as she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. Her eyes sparkled with relief, and she looked at you with a newfound sense of connection.
"Thanks for telling me," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I feel like I can breathe again."
You chuckled and squeezed her arm gently. "Anytime," you said, smiling back at her. "I'm glad I could put your mind at ease."
As you sat there, looking into each other's eyes, you felt a sense of tension dissipate. It was as if a weight had been lifted off your shoulders, and you could finally relax around each other.
Manon's smile faltered for a moment, and she looked at you with a curious expression. "Can I ask you something else?" she said, her voice hesitant.
You nodded, intrigued. "Of course," you said, leaning in slightly. "What's up?"
Manon took a deep breath before asking, "Would you like to grab coffee with me sometime? Just the two of us?"
You felt a flutter in your chest as you considered her question. It was clear that Manon was interested in spending more time with you, and you had to admit that you felt the same way.
You smiled, feeling a sense of excitement and possibility. "I'd love to grab coffee with you," you said, trying to sound casual despite the butterflies in your stomach.
Manon's face lit up with a radiant smile, and she let out a little squeal of excitement. "Really?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with delight.
You nodded, feeling a sense of joy and connection. "Really," you said, smiling back at her.
Manon bounced up from the couch, her energy infectious. "I'll go get my phone and we can make plans," she said, already heading for the stairs.
As you watched her go, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. You had no idea what the future held, but you knew that you were looking forward to spending more time with Manon.
Manon returned with her phone and started scrolling through her calendar. "How about tomorrow afternoon?" she asked, looking up at you with a hopeful expression.
You nodded, feeling a sense of agreement. "Tomorrow afternoon sounds perfect," you said, smiling back at her.
As you made plans, you couldn't help but notice the way Manon's eyes sparkled when she smiled, or the way her hair curled slightly at the edges. You felt a sense of attraction that you couldn't ignore, and you wondered if maybe, just maybe, this coffee date could be the start of something special.
As you finalized the plans, Manon looked up at you with a mischievous grin. "I'm really looking forward to tomorrow," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
You felt a flutter in your chest as you met her gaze. "Me too," you said, smiling back at her.
As the day went on, you tried to play it cool and pretend like the coffee date was no big deal. You went about your routine, doing chores and studying, but you couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
Every so often, you'd catch yourself thinking about Manon and the way she smiled when she asked you out. You'd feel a flutter in your chest, and you'd quickly push the feeling aside, telling yourself that you were just being silly.
But as the hours ticked by, you started to wonder if you were reading too much into the situation. Maybe Manon just wanted to be friends, and you were overanalyzing everything. Maybe you were just caught up in the excitement of having someone to hang out with.
You tried to rationalize your feelings, telling yourself that it was okay to just enjoy the moment and not overthink things. But as you lay in bed that night, you couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to Manon's invitation.
As you drifted off to sleep, you found yourself wondering what the next day would bring. Would Manon be nervous and awkward, or would she be her usual confident self? And what would you do if she was just being friendly, and didn't actually have romantic feelings for you?
The questions swirled in your mind, keeping you awake for what felt like hours. Finally, you drifted off to sleep, exhausted from the emotional rollercoaster you'd been on.
The next morning, you woke up feeling nervous and anxious. You got dressed and ready, trying to calm your nerves as you waited for Manon to come downstairs.
When she finally emerged, looking bright and cheerful in a yellow sundress, you felt your heart skip a beat. She smiled at you, and you smiled back, trying to play it cool.
"Hey," she said, breezing into the kitchen. "Ready for coffee?"
You nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over you. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.
As you walked to the coffee shop, Manon chatted easily about everything from art to music to her favorite books. You listened, entranced, feeling like you were getting to know her on a deeper level.
But despite the easy conversation, you couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to this coffee date. Something that Manon wasn't telling you.
As you sat down at a small table outside, Manon leaned in, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I'm really glad you could make it today," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
You felt a flutter in your chest, and you leaned in, your heart pounding in your ears. "I'm glad I could make it too," you said, your voice barely above a whisper.
As you sat there, looking into each other's eyes, you felt a sense of connection that you couldn't ignore. It was like the whole world had melted away, leaving just the two of you, suspended in a moment of pure possibility.
Just as it seemed like the moment was going to escalate into something more, Manon's phone suddenly buzzed with an incoming text. She groaned in frustration and pulled back, apologizing as she reached for her phone.
You felt a pang of disappointment, but you tried to play it cool, smiling and telling Manon to go ahead and answer the text. As she scrolled through her phone, her expression changed from relaxed to concerned.
"What's wrong?" you asked, feeling a sense of curiosity.
Manon hesitated, looking unsure of how to respond. "It's my friend Daniela," she said finally. "She's in town unexpectedly and wants to meet up."
You raised an eyebrow, feeling a sense of surprise. "Daniela? Isn't that the friend who was visiting the other day?" you asked.
Manon nodded, looking guilty. "Yeah, that's the one. I didn't expect her to come back to town so soon, but I guess she had a change of plans."
You felt a pang of disappointment, realizing that the coffee date was going to be cut short. But you tried to be understanding, smiling and telling Manon that it was okay.
As Manon texted Daniela back, you couldn't help but wonder what this unexpected visit meant. Was Daniela just passing through, or was there something more going on?
As you finished up your coffee, Manon looked up at you with a sheepish expression. "I'm so sorry about this," she said. "I feel like I'm abandoning you."
You smiled and reassured Manon that it was okay, that you understood. But as you parted ways, you couldn't help but feel a sense of uncertainty. What did Daniela's visit mean for you and Manon? And would you ever get to finish what you started?
You smiled and told Manon that you understood, but you weren't interested in meeting up with Daniela. "It's okay, really," you said. "I've got some stuff I need to work on anyway."
Manon looked relieved, but also a little disappointed. "Okay, no worries," she said. "I'll catch up with you later, then."
You nodded and watched as Manon hurried off to meet up with Daniela. As you walked back to your dorm, you couldn't help but feel a little left out. You had been looking forward to spending more time with Manon, and now it seemed like that wasn't going to happen.
When you got back to your dorm, you decided to focus on your work and try to put the disappointment out of your mind. You spent the rest of the day studying and working on projects, and by the time evening rolled around, you were feeling more productive and less bothered by the earlier events.
As you were getting ready for bed, you heard a knock at the door. You opened it to find Manon standing in the hallway, looking a little sheepish.
"Hey," she said. "I'm sorry again for ditching you earlier. I feel like I owe you an explanation."
You raised an eyebrow, curious about what Manon had to say. "What's going on?" you asked, stepping aside to let her in.
Manon hesitated, looking unsure of how to start. "It's just...Daniela is going through a tough time right now," she said. "She's been having some personal issues, and I promised her I'd be there for her."
You nodded, feeling a surge of understanding. "That makes sense," you said. "I'm glad you're being a good friend to her."
Manon smiled, looking relieved. "Thanks for understanding," she said. "I promise I'll make it up to you soon."
As Manon turned to leave, you felt a pang of curiosity. What did Manon mean by "making it up" to you? And what exactly was going on between her and Daniela?
You decided to let the conversation drop, not wanting to pry into Manon's personal business. You smiled and nodded, telling her that you understood, and that you were just glad she was being a good friend to Daniela.
Manon smiled back, looking relieved, and you could tell that she was grateful for your understanding. You chatted for a few more minutes, catching up on each other's days, and then Manon said goodnight and headed back to her room.
As you got ready for bed, you couldn't help but think about the conversation you'd just had with Manon. You were glad that you'd been understanding and supportive, but a part of you couldn't help but wonder what was really going on with Daniela. Was she really just going through a tough time, or was there something more to it?
You pushed the thoughts aside, telling yourself that it was none of your business. You were just glad that Manon was being a good friend, and that was all that mattered.
As you drifted off to sleep, you felt a sense of contentment wash over you. You were happy to have Manon as a friend, and you were grateful for the understanding and support that you'd shown each other.
The next day, you went about your routine as usual, attending classes and working on projects. You didn't see Manon until lunchtime, when you ran into her in the cafeteria.
She smiled and waved, and you joined her at her table. As you ate, you chatted about your morning, discussing everything from classes to TV shows.
Manon seemed a little more subdued than usual, but you couldn't tell if it was just because she was tired or if something was really bothering her. You asked her if everything was okay, and she nodded, smiling reassuringly.
But as you finished up your lunch and prepared to part ways, you couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Manon seemed a little more distant than usual, and you wondered if everything was really okay.
As you walked back to your dorm, you couldn't help but think about Manon and what might be bothering her. You told yourself that you were just being paranoid, that Manon was probably fine and you were just reading too much into things.
But as you went about your day, you couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. You found yourself wondering what was really going on with Manon, and whether you should try to talk to her about it.
You decided to give Manon some space, figuring that she'll come to you if she needs to talk about something. You went about your day as usual, attending classes and working on projects.
As the day went on, you couldn't help but think about Manon and what might be bothering her. You wondered if she was okay, and if there was anything you could do to help.
But you also didn't want to pry or push her to talk about something she wasn't ready to discuss. You figured that if she needed someone to talk to, she would come to you.
As the evening drew to a close, you headed back to your dorm, feeling a little more relaxed. You spent some time reading and watching TV, and then got ready for bed.
Just as you were drifting off to sleep, you heard a knock at the door. You got up to answer it, expecting it to be one of your friends or maybe a neighbor.
But when you opened the door, you were surprised to see Manon standing there, looking a little sheepish. "Hey," she said, "I hope I'm not disturbing you."
You shook your head, feeling a little curious. "No, it's fine," you said. "What's up?"
Manon hesitated, looking unsure of how to start. "I just wanted to talk to you about something," she said finally. "Can I come in?"
You nodded, stepping aside to let Manon in. As she entered your room, you couldn't help but wonder what she wanted to talk about.
Was it something serious, or just something that was bothering her? And why had she come to you, instead of someone else?
As Manon sat down on your bed, looking a little nervous, you realized that you were about to find out.
You asked Manon what was on her mind, encouraging her to open up. "Hey, what's going on?" you said, trying to sound supportive. "You can tell me anything."
Manon took a deep breath, looking a little nervous. "It's just...I don't know how to say this," she said, hesitating. "But I've been feeling really overwhelmed lately. With school, and my art, and just life in general...I feel like I'm drowning."
You listened attentively, trying to offer a supportive ear. "I'm so sorry, Manon," you said. "That sounds really tough. But you know you can always talk to me, right? I'm here for you."
Manon smiled, looking a little relieved. "Thanks," she said. "Just talking to you makes me feel a little better. But there's something else...something I've been wanting to tell you for a while now."
You raised an eyebrow, feeling a little curious. "What is it?" you asked, trying to sound encouraging.
Manon took another deep breath, looking a little nervous. "I've been developing feelings for you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I know it may seem sudden, but I couldn't help the way I feel. And I wanted to be honest with you, even if it means risking our friendship."
You felt like you'd been punched in the gut. You hadn't seen this coming, and you didn't know how to react.
You took a deep breath and told Manon that you felt the same way. "I've been feeling a connection with you too," you said, trying to sound calm. "I value our friendship, but I have to admit, I've been wondering if there's something more between us."
Manon's face lit up with a radiant smile. "Really?" she asked, her voice full of excitement.
You nodded, feeling a sense of joy and possibility. "Really," you said, smiling back at her.
Manon leaned in, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "I'm so glad," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've been wanting to tell you for so long."
As you sat there, looking into each other's eyes, you felt a sense of connection and understanding that you'd never felt before. It was like you'd been waiting for this moment for a long time, and now that it was finally here, you were ready to seize it.
Manon leaned in closer, her face inches from yours. You could feel the tension between you, the anticipation of what was to come.
And then, in a moment that felt like time standing still, Manon kissed you.
It was a soft, gentle kiss, but it sent shivers down your spine. You felt like you were melting into her, like you were becoming one person.
As you pulled back, gasping for air, you saw the smile on Manon's face. It was a smile of joy, of happiness, of love.
"I've been wanting to do that for so long," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
You smiled back, feeling like you were on cloud nine. "I'm glad you did," you said, your voice filled with emotion.
As you sat there, looking into each other's eyes, you knew that this was just the beginning of something special.
You and Manon decided to go on a proper date, to celebrate your newfound feelings. You both agreed that it would be nice to get out of the dorm and explore the town.
Manon suggested a quaint little Italian restaurant that she had been wanting to try, and you agreed. You made a reservation for that evening, and spent the rest of the day counting down the hours until your date.
You felt a little nervous, but Manon's smile put you at ease. You were greeted by the hostess and led to your table, where you spent the next few hours enjoying delicious food and wine, and getting to know each other better.
The conversation flowed easily, and you found yourself laughing and joking with Manon like you had known her for years. You talked about everything from your favorite books and movies, to your childhood memories and dreams for the future.
As the evening drew to a close, you walked Manon back to her dorm, feeling like you were on cloud nine. You had never felt such a strong connection with someone before, and you couldn't wait to see where things would go from here.
As you stood outside Manon's dorm, you turned to her and smiled. "I had an amazing time tonight," you said, your voice filled with sincerity.
Manon smiled back, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "I had an amazing time too," she said. "Would you like to do it again sometime soon?"
You nodded eagerly, feeling like you were floating on air. "Definitely," you said. "How about tomorrow night?"
Manon laughed, a playful glint in her eye. "You're eager, aren't you?" she teased.
You grinned, feeling a little sheepish. "Maybe just a little," you admitted.
Manon smiled, her expression softening. "I like that," she said. "Tomorrow night sounds perfect."
As you leaned in to kiss her goodnight, you knew that this was just the beginning of something special.
You finished getting dressed in your usual baggy outfit, feeling comfortable and relaxed. You headed downstairs, where Manon was waiting for you, looking stylish and put-together as always.
"Ready?" she asked, smiling at you.
You nodded, and Manon held out her hands, expecting you to take them. You felt a little flutter in your chest as you intertwined your fingers with hers, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness.
Manon led the way, walking confidently through the dorm and out into the cool evening air. You followed her, feeling a sense of trust and reliance on her. She seemed to know exactly where she was going, and you were happy to follow her lead.
As you walked to the cinema, Manon chatted easily about her day, telling you about her classes and her friends. You listened attentively, feeling grateful for her presence in your life.
When you arrived at the cinema, Manon bought your tickets and led you to the concession stand. "What do you want to eat?" she asked, smiling at you.
You shrugged, feeling a little indecisive. "Whatever you want," you said.
Manon laughed and ordered a large bucket of popcorn and two sodas. You carried the snacks while Manon led the way to the theater.
As you found your seats and settled in for the movie, Manon reached for your hand again, intertwining your fingers with hers. You felt a sense of comfort and security, knowing that she was there with you.
As the movie started, you and Manon settled in, watching the opening scenes with interest. But as the film progressed, you found yourself becoming more and more aware of Manon's presence beside you.
You felt her hand in yours, her fingers intertwined with yours in a gentle but firm grasp. You felt her arm against yours, her shoulder brushing against yours as you both laughed at a funny moment in the movie.
As the tension in the film built, you found yourself leaning in closer to Manon, your heads almost touching as you both watched the screen with rapt attention. You could feel her warm breath on your skin, and you felt a shiver run down your spine.
Manon seemed to sense your movement, and she turned to you, her eyes sparkling with amusement. You met her gaze, feeling a jolt of electricity as your eyes locked.
For a moment, you just stared at each other, the movie forgotten. Then, without thinking, you leaned in closer, your lips brushing against Manon's in a soft, gentle kiss.
Manon's eyes fluttered closed, and she kissed you back, her lips warm and inviting. You felt a rush of excitement, your heart pounding in your chest as you deepened the kiss.
The movie played on, forgotten, as you and Manon lost yourselves in the moment. You kissed for what felt like hours, the world around you melting away as you focused on the sensation of Manon's lips against yours.
Finally, you pulled back, gasping for air. Manon's eyes sparkled with amusement, and she smiled, her lips still warm from your kiss.
"I guess we got a little distracted," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of the movie.
You grinned, feeling a little sheepish. "Just a little," you replied, your voice equally soft.
Manon leaned in closer, her lips brushing against your ear. "I don't mind," she whispered. "I liked it."
You felt a shiver run down your spine as Manon's warm breath tickled your ear. You turned to her, your eyes locking with hers in a sparkling gaze.
You and Manon decided to get a little more romantic, sharing another kiss or two in the darkness of the theater. You leaned in closer, your lips brushing against Manon's in a soft, gentle kiss.
As you kissed, you felt a sense of connection with Manon that you'd never felt before. It was like you were two pieces of a puzzle that fit together perfectly, and you knew that you were meant to be together.
Finally, you pulled back, gasping for air. Manon's eyes sparkled with amusement, and she smiled, her lips still warm from your kiss.
"I think we've made our point," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of the movie.
You grinned, feeling a little sheepish. "I guess we have," you replied, your voice equally soft.
Manon leaned in closer, her lips brushing against your ear. "I'm so glad we did," she whispered. "I feel like I've been waiting for this moment for so long."
You felt a shiver run down your spine as Manon's warm breath tickled your ear. You turned to her, your eyes locking with hers in a sparkling gaze.
"I'm glad too," you whispered back, your voice filled with emotion.
As the movie came to an end, you and Manon reluctantly pulled apart, smiling at each other like fools. You knew that this was just the beginning of something special, something that would change your life forever.
You walked out of the theater hand in hand, feeling like you were on top of the world. You knew that you had found your soulmate in Manon, and you couldn't wait to see what the future held for you both.
As you strolled through the quiet streets, you felt a sense of peace and contentment wash over you. You knew that you had found your perfect match, and you were grateful for every moment you spent with Manon.
And as you looked into her eyes, you knew that you would love her forever.

The hallways of Seoul High School were always filled with the sound of laughter and chatter, but for Y/N, the only sound that truly mattered was music. She lived and breathed it, spending every spare moment listening to her favorite artists, discovering new genres, and even composing her own songs.
Y/N's love for music was infectious, and it wasn't uncommon to see her walking down the hallway with her earbuds in, a look of pure joy on her face. Her friends and classmates had grown accustomed to her musical obsession, and they often joked that she had a soundtrack playing in her head at all times.
But amidst all the chaos and noise of high school life, there was one person who watched Y/N with a quieter, more introspective gaze. Minjeong, a tall and soft-spoken senior, had harbored a secret crush on Y/N for what felt like an eternity.
Minjeong loved the way Y/N's eyes lit up when she talked about music, the way her entire face seemed to come alive with passion and excitement. She loved the way Y/N's hair curled slightly at the edges when she wore her earbuds, and the way her smile could light up an entire room.
For Minjeong, it was more than just a passing infatuation. She had fallen deeply, irrevocably in love with Y/N, and she didn't know how to process her emotions, or how to navigate the complex, terrifying landscape of her own heart.
As the new school year began, Minjeong found herself drawn to Y/N more and more, her feelings growing stronger with each passing day. And Y/N, oblivious to the quiet, devoted gaze that followed her everywhere, simply continued to live her life, surrounded by the music that brought her so much joy.
Minjeong rolled her eyes good-naturedly as she sat down at the lunch table with her friend Karina. "I swear, have you heard that trending song by Lee Hi and wonstein ?" she asked, wrinkling her nose in distaste.
Karina looked up from her phone, a curious expression on her face. "You mean 'H.S.K.T.'?" she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice.
Minjeong nodded vigorously. "Yes, that's the one! I mean, I get it, the melody is catchy and all, but the lyrics are so repetitive. It's just the same phrase over and over again. I mean, can't they come up with something more original?"
Karina chuckled. "You're just not a fan of rnb, Minjeong," she teased.
Minjeong shook her head. "I'm just saying, there's better music out there. Music that actually means something, you know?"
Just then, Y/N walked by their table, earbuds firmly in place. Minjeong's eyes followed her, a soft smile spreading across her face. She didn't notice Karina watching her, a knowing glint in her eye.
"Minjeong, you're so oblivious," Karina whispered, a grin spreading across her face.
Minjeong turned back to Karina, a questioning look on her face. "What do you mean?" she asked, trying to sound nonchalant.
Karina just chuckled and shook her head. "Never mind, Minjeong. Just never mind."
As Y/N and her friends sat down at the table next to Minjeong and Karina, Minjeong's breath hitched in her throat. She felt a sudden rush of heat to her cheeks, and she knew she was blushing.
She tried to play it cool, focusing on her lunch and pretending she wasn't aware of Y/N's presence. But it was no use. She could feel Y/N's energy, her infectious enthusiasm, and it was drawing Minjeong in like a magnet.
As she listened, Minjeong heard Y/N start talking to her friend Ryujin about music. Specifically, about the song "H.S.K.T.".
"Oh my gosh, Ryujin, have you heard the new remix of 'H.S.K.T.'?" Y/N asked, her eyes shining with excitement.
Ryujin nodded, a smile spreading across her face. "Yeah, I heard it yesterday! It's so good!"
Y/N squealed, bouncing up and down in her seat. "I know, right? I've been listening to it nonstop. I'm totally obsessed!"
Minjeong's eyes widened as she listened to Y/N's enthusiastic rant. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Y/N, the girl she had a crush on, was actually a huge fan of the song Minjeong had just been trashing.
As Y/N continued to gush about the song, Minjeong found herself feeling more and more intrigued. What was it about "H.S.K.T." that Y/N loved so much? Was it really as bad as Minjeong thought, or was there something she was missing?
Minjeong's curiosity got the better of her, and she found herself leaning in, listening more closely to Y/N's conversation. She didn't even realize she was doing it, but Karina noticed, and raised an eyebrow.
"Minjeong, you okay?" Karina whispered, nudging her friend with her elbow.
Minjeong nodded, still listening to Y/N's enthusiastic monologue. "Yeah, I'm fine," she whispered back. "I just...I want to hear more about this song."
Karina grinned, a knowing glint in her eye. "Ooooooooooo," she whispered, teasing Minjeong mercilessly.
Minjeong's face went bright red as she realized she'd been caught. But she couldn't help it. She was intrigued by Y/N's passion, and she wanted to know more.
As soon as Minjeong got home from school, she found herself wandering over to her computer, her fingers hovering over the keyboard. She had promised herself she wouldn't give in to her curiosity, but she just couldn't help it.
She typed in the name of the song, "H.S.K.T.", and hesitated for a moment before pressing play. The opening notes filled her room, and Minjeong felt a slight wince at the repetitive lyrics.
But as she listened more closely, something strange happened. The first thing that came to her mind was Y/N - her bright smile, her infectious enthusiasm, her passion for music.
Minjeong couldn't help but smile as she thought about Y/N, and before she knew it, she was tapping her foot along with the beat. The repetitive lyrics didn't seem so annoying anymore, and she found herself singing along to the chorus.
As the song came to an end, Minjeong felt a pang of disappointment. She didn't want it to be over. So she did the only thing she could think of - she pressed play again.
And again.
And again.
Before she knew it, Minjeong had listened to "H.S.K.T." eight times in a row. She was surprised by how much she had grown to love the song, and she knew exactly why.
It was because of Y/N.
As she drifted off to sleep, Minjeong couldn't help but wonder what other songs Y/N loved, and whether she would ever get the chance to share her own musical passions with her crush.
Minjeong sat on her bed, her laptop open in front of her. She was determined to create the perfect playlist for Y/N - a collection of songs that would speak directly to Y/N's heart.
As she scrolled through her music library, Minjeong's mind wandered back to Y/N. She thought about the way Y/N's eyes sparkled when she talked about music, the way her smile could light up an entire room.
Minjeong's heart skipped a beat as she imagined Y/N listening to the playlist, her face lighting up with delight. She pictured Y/N seeking her out, thanking her for the playlist, and maybe even asking her to hang out.
With renewed enthusiasm, Minjeong started adding songs to the playlist. She chose tracks that reminded her of Y/N, songs that captured the essence of Y/N's bubbly personality.
As the playlist grew, Minjeong found herself pouring her heart and soul into it. She added songs that spoke to her own feelings, tracks that conveyed the emotions she couldn't quite express.
Before she knew it, Minjeong had created a playlist that was as much about Y/N as it was about herself. It was a collection of songs that told a story, a story of crushes and music and the power of connection.
Minjeong saved the playlist, a sense of pride and accomplishment washing over her. She knew that she had created something special, something that might just help her connect with Y/N on a deeper level.
Now, all she had to do was work up the courage to give it to Y/N.
Y/N's eyes widened as she scrolled through the playlist Minjeong had given her. She couldn't believe the effort Minjeong had put into creating it - the songs were all perfectly curated, each one speaking to Y/N's musical tastes in a way that felt almost uncanny.
As she listened to the playlist, Y/N felt a warmth spread through her chest. It was clear that Minjeong had put her heart and soul into this playlist, and Y/N was touched by the thoughtfulness.
She looked up to see Minjeong watching her, a nervous expression on her face. Y/N's heart skipped a beat as their eyes met, and for a moment, they just stared at each other.
"Minjeong, this is...wow," Y/N said finally, breaking the silence. "You have no idea how much this means to me."
Minjeong's face lit up with a smile, and Y/N's heart skipped another beat. She felt a flutter in her chest, and suddenly, she was seeing Minjeong in a whole new light.
Y/N's eyes scanned the playlist, and her face lit up with a bright smile. "You even put 'H.S.K.T.'!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with emotion.
Minjeong's heart skipped a beat as Y/N's face scrunched up, and she pouted, clearly touched by the gesture. Before Minjeong could react, Y/N had thrown her arms around her, pulling her into a tight hug.
Minjeong's eyes widened in shock, and she froze, unsure of how to respond. She had dreamed of moments like this, but she never thought they would actually happen. She was about to hug Y/N back, but before she could, Y/N pulled away, her face flushing with embarrassment.
"I'm so sorry I did that," Y/N said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know what came over me."
Minjeong's heart was still racing from the sudden hug, and she felt a pang of disappointment that it had ended so abruptly. But she tried to play it cool, not wanting to make Y/N feel any more awkward than she already did.
"It's okay," Minjeong said, trying to sound casual. "I'm just glad you liked the playlist."
Y/N smiled, looking relieved, and Minjeong's heart skipped another beat. She couldn't help but wonder what had just happened, and whether Y/N's hug had meant something more.
Karina watched the exchange between Minjeong and Y/N with interest, her eyes narrowing as she sensed the tension between them. She had known Minjeong for years, and she could tell when her friend was crushing hard.
As soon as Y/N walked away, Karina pounced, plopping down beside Minjeong on the bench. "Spill," she said, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
Minjeong sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I don't know, Karina. I think I might have misread the situation entirely."
Karina raised an eyebrow. "Misread the situation? You mean, like, you thought Y/N was into you?"
Minjeong nodded, feeling a flush rise to her cheeks. "Yeah. I mean, she hugged me, Karina. Out of nowhere."
Karina's grin grew wider. "That's not out of nowhere, Minjeong. That's a sign. And I'm not just talking about the hug."
Minjeong's eyes locked onto Karina's. "What do you mean?"
Karina leaned in, her voice dropping to a whisper. "I mean, Y/N's been watching you, Minjeong. I've seen the way she looks at you. She's interested."
Minjeong's heart skipped a beat as she processed Karina's words. Could it be true? Was Y/N really interested in her?
Karina's advice echoed in Minjeong's mind as she watched Y/N walk down the hallway. She had been waiting for the perfect moment to confess her feelings, and she couldn't let this opportunity slip away.
Minjeong took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. She quickened her pace, catching up to Y/N just as she was about to turn a corner.
"Y/N, wait!" Minjeong called out, her voice barely above a whisper.
Y/N turned around, a smile on her face. "Hey, Minjeong! What's up?"
Minjeong's heart skipped a beat as she gazed into Y/N's eyes. She could feel her pulse racing, her palms growing sweaty. This was it – the moment of truth.
But just as Minjeong was about to confess her feelings, Ryujin appeared out of nowhere, a concerned expression on her face.
"Y/N, baby, I'm not sure I'll be able to follow you to that W2E concert," Ryujin said, her voice hesitant. "Maybe you'll find someone else? I'm quite busy with my family on that day."
Y/N's face fell, and Minjeong could see the disappointment in her eyes. She nodded understandingly, but Minjeong could tell she was trying to hide her true feelings.
Ryujin nodded sympathetically before turning to leave. "Sorry again, Y/N! I feel terrible for bailing on you."
As Ryujin walked away, Y/N let out a sigh, her shoulders slumping in defeat. Minjeong's heart went out to her – she could see how much Y/N had been looking forward to the concert.
Without thinking, Minjeong spoke up, her words tumbling out in a rush. "Hey, Y/N, I'll go with you to the concert! I've heard great things about W2E, and I'd love to see them live."
Y/N's face lit up, and she let out a squeal of delight. "Really, Minjeong? You'd do that for me?"
Minjeong nodded, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. "Of course, Y/N! I'd love to spend time with you."
Y/N's eyes sparkled with gratitude, and she threw her arms around Minjeong in a tight hug. "Thank you so much, Minjeong! You're the best!"
As Y/N bounced up and down, Minjeong couldn't help but laugh. She felt a sense of joy wash over her, and for a moment, she forgot all about her confession.
Y/N pulled back, still grinning from ear to ear. "I'll make sure to get us the best seats! Thanks again, Minjeong – you're a lifesaver!"
With that, Y/N skipped off down the hallway, leaving Minjeong to watch her go with a dreamy sigh. Minjeong's heart was still racing, but it wasn't just from the excitement of confessing her feelings – it was from the sheer joy of making Y/N happy.
As she stood there, a goofy grin spreading across her face, Minjeong realized that she had forgotten all about her confession. She had been so caught up in the moment, so happy to see Y/N smile, that she had let her chance slip away.
But as she turned to walk away, Minjeong couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. Maybe, just maybe, she would get another chance to confess her feelings to Y/N. And maybe, just maybe, Y/N would feel the same way.
The weekend finally arrived, and Y/N's excitement was palpable. She had been looking forward to the W2E concert all week, and she couldn't wait to share the experience with Minjeong.
As she waited for Minjeong to arrive, Y/N found herself pacing back and forth in her room. She had spent hours getting ready, trying on different outfits and doing her hair and makeup just right.
Just as she was starting to get anxious, Y/N's phone buzzed with a text from Minjeong. "Hey, I'm ready! Maybe we should meet up somewhere?"
Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she read the text. She quickly typed out a response, but before she could hit send, Minjeong sent another text. "Wait, don't worry about meeting up. I'll come pick you up."
Y/N's face lit up with a smile as she read the text. She felt a flutter in her chest at the thought of Minjeong coming to pick her up.
As she waited for Minjeong to arrive, Y/N found herself walking around her room, checking her reflection in the mirror for what felt like the hundredth time.
Just as she was starting to get impatient, Y/N heard the sound of a horn outside. She rushed to the window and pulled back the curtain, her heart skipping a beat as she saw Minjeong's car parked outside.
Y/N grabbed her bag and rushed downstairs, flinging open the front door and sliding into the passenger seat of Minjeong's car.
As she settled into her seat, Minjeong turned to her with a bright smile. "OMG, your outfit is so cute!" she exclaimed, her eyes scanning Y/N's outfit.
Y/N's face flushed with pleasure as she thanked Minjeong, feeling a little self-conscious about her outfit. "Nah, yours is better," she said, taking note of Minjeong's outfit. "Mine is just casual wear."
Minjeong laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Casual wear? You look amazing, Y/N! I love the baggy clothes on you."
Y/N's blush deepened as she smiled, feeling a little more at ease. "Thanks, Minjeong. You always know how to make me feel better."
As they pulled away from the curb, Minjeong glanced over at Y/N, her eyes shining with excitement. "I'm so glad we're doing this, Y/N. I've been looking forward to it all week."
Y/N grinned, feeling a sense of excitement wash over her. "Me too, Minjeong. Me too."
As they drove to the concert venue, the two girls chatted excitedly, discussing everything from their favorite W2E songs to their plans for the summer.
The atmosphere in the car was electric, and Y/N couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and excitement. She was so glad she had agreed to go to the concert with Minjeong.
As they pulled up to the venue, Y/N's heart skipped a beat. The line of fans waiting to get in stretched around the block, and the air was electric with excitement.
Minjeong grinned, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Ready, Y/N?"
Y/N nodded, feeling a sense of anticipation wash over her. "Born ready, Minjeong."
As the concert got underway, Y/N found herself getting more and more into the music. She was singing along to every song, dancing with abandon, and having the time of her life.
But as the crowd around her grew more intense, Y/N started to feel overwhelmed. The noise, the lights, the sheer number of people pressing in on her from all sides – it was all starting to feel a bit too much.
Minjeong noticed that Y/N was starting to look a bit frazzled, and she quickly grabbed her hand, pulling her through the crowd to a safer spot near the back.
"Hey, are you okay?" Minjeong asked, her voice loud enough to be heard over the music. "You looked like you were starting to feel a bit overwhelmed."
Y/N nodded gratefully, feeling a bit better now that she was out of the crush of the crowd. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said. "Just got a bit too much for me."
Minjeong smiled and put a reassuring arm around Y/N's shoulders. "Don't worry, I've got you," she said. "We can stay back here and enjoy the concert from a distance."
Y/N smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her chest at Minjeong's thoughtful gesture. She leaned into Minjeong's side, feeling grateful for her friend's support.
As they stood there, watching the concert from a safe distance, Y/N felt a sense of contentment wash over her. She was happy to be here with Minjeong, enjoying the music and each other's company.
And as she glanced over at Minjeong, she couldn't help but notice the way the lights from the stage illuminated her friend's face, making her look even more beautiful than usual.
As the concert went on, Y/N found herself feeling more and more drawn to Minjeong. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but there was something about Minjeong's bright smile and infectious enthusiasm that made Y/N feel happy and alive.
At first, Y/N tried to brush off the feeling, telling herself she was just being silly. But as the night wore on, she couldn't shake the sense that her feelings for Minjeong went beyond friendship.
It wasn't until they were walking out of the venue, the cool night air a welcome relief after the hot and crowded concert hall, that Y/N realized the true extent of her feelings. Minjeong was laughing and chatting with her, her eyes sparkling with amusement, and Y/N felt her heart skip a beat.
She was in love with Minjeong.
The realization hit Y/N like a ton of bricks, leaving her feeling stunned and disoriented. She didn't know what to do or say, so she just stood there, frozen in place, as Minjeong continued to chat and laugh beside her.
Meanwhile, Minjeong was oblivious to the turmoil going on inside Y/N's head. She was too busy basking in the glow of their wonderful night together, feeling grateful and happy that she had gotten to share this experience with her dear friend.
But as they walked to the car, Minjeong couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Y/N seemed a bit quieter than usual, a bit more subdued, and Minjeong wondered if everything was okay.
"Hey, Y/N, are you doing all right?" Minjeong asked, her voice soft with concern. "You seem a bit quiet tonight."
Y/N hesitated, unsure of how to respond. She didn't want to lie to Minjeong, but she wasn't ready to reveal her true feelings either.
"I'm fine, Minjeong," Y/N said finally, forcing a smile onto her face. "Just a bit tired, that's all."
Minjeong looked at her skeptically, but she didn't push the issue. Instead, she just smiled and nodded, her eyes shining with warmth and understanding.
As they drove home, the silence between them was comfortable and companionable. Minjeong chatted occasionally, pointing out landmarks and talking about the concert, but for the most part, they just enjoyed each other's company, the quiet darkness of the night wrapping around them like a warm blanket.
It wasn't until they pulled up in front of Y/N's house, the porch light casting a warm glow over the scene, that Minjeong finally worked up the courage to confess her feelings.
"Y/N, can I talk to you for a minute?" Minjeong asked, her voice soft and hesitant.
Y/N looked at her curiously, wondering what Minjeong wanted to say. "Of course, Minjeong," she replied, her heart pounding in her chest.
Minjeong took a deep breath, her eyes locked on Y/N's face. "I just wanted to say thank you," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. "Thank you for being such an amazing friend, for always being there for me."
Y/N's heart swelled with affection, and she felt a lump form in her throat. "Minjeong, you're an amazing friend too," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Minjeong smiled, her eyes shining with tears. "I'm glad we're friends, Y/N," she said. "But I have to be honest with you – my feelings for you go beyond friendship."
Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she processed Minjeong's words. She had been hoping and dreaming of this moment for so long, and now that it was finally here, she didn't know what to say.
"Minjeong, I –" Y/N started, but Minjeong cut her off, her voice pouring out in a rush.
"I know it may seem sudden, Y/N, but I've been feeling this way for a while now. I was too scared to say anything, but I couldn't keep it inside anymore. I had to tell you, no matter how scared I was."
Y/N's heart went out to Minjeong, and she felt a wave of love and affection wash over her. She knew exactly what Minjeong was feeling – the fear, the uncertainty, the hope.
"Minjeong, I –" Y/N started again, but this time, she was interrupted by her own heart, which was pounding in her chest like a drum.
She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down, but it was no use. Her feelings for Minjeong were too strong, too overwhelming.
"Minjeong, I feel the same way," Y/N said finally, her voice barely above a whisper.
Minjeong's face lit up with joy, and she leaned in, her lips brushing against Y/N's in a soft, gentle kiss. Y/N's heart soared as she felt Minjeong's lips on hers, and she knew in that moment that she was exactly where she was meant to be.
As they pulled back from the kiss, Minjeong's eyes shone with happiness, and Y/N couldn't help but smile back at her. They sat there for a moment, just looking at each other, the tension between them palpable.
"I'm so glad I told you," Minjeong said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. "I was so scared, but it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders."
Y/N nodded, feeling a sense of understanding and connection with Minjeong. "I'm glad you told me too," she said. "I've been feeling the same way, but I was too scared to say anything."
Minjeong's face lit up with a smile, and she reached out, taking Y/N's hand in hers. "I'm so glad we're on the same page," she said, her voice filled with emotion.
As they sat there, holding hands and looking into each other's eyes, Y/N felt a sense of happiness and contentment wash over her. She knew that this was just the beginning of their journey together, and she couldn't wait to see what the future held.
The night air was filled with the sound of crickets and the occasional passing car, but Y/N and Minjeong didn't notice. They were too lost in their own little world, a world of love, happiness, and possibility.
As the night wore on, they talked and laughed, sharing their hopes and dreams with each other. They were no longer just friends; they were something more, something special.
And as they sat there, under the stars, Y/N knew that she had found her soulmate in Minjeong. She was excited to see what the future held for them, and she knew that as long as they were together, everything would be okay.
Sunday morning dawned bright and early, and Y/N woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. She stretched out in bed, yawning widely, and reached for her phone to check her messages.
As she scrolled through her social media feeds, Y/N stumbled upon a video of the H.S.K.T challenge that had been making the rounds online. She had seen it before, but this time, something about it caught her eye.
Maybe it was the memory of Minjeong's bright smile and infectious laughter from the night before, but Y/N suddenly felt a strong urge to share the video with her girlfriend. She sent the video to Minjeong, along with a message that read: "Min, would you please do this challenge with me :("
Y/N couldn't help but add a few pleading emojis to the end of the message, hoping to guilt trip Minjeong into agreeing. She knew it was a bit silly, but she couldn't help herself she was just too excited about the prospect of doing the challenge with her girlfriend.
Minjeong, on the other hand, was not surprised by Y/N's message. She had been expecting something like this, given Y/N's love of challenges and silly videos. And besides, she couldn't say no to Y/N's adorable pleading face, even if it was just a emoji.
"Of course, I'll do it with you!" Minjeong texted back, trying to sound casual despite her growing excitement. "When were you thinking of doing it?"
Y/N's response came almost immediately. "Thanks, Min! We'll do it when we meet up at the park :)"
Minjeong grinned, feeling a thrill of anticipation. She had been looking forward to meeting up with Y/N all day, and now she had something extra to look forward to. She quickly got dressed and ready, her mind racing with thoughts of the challenge and what they would do.
As she headed out the door, Minjeong couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. She had no idea what the challenge would entail, but she was ready to face it head-on with Y/N by her side.
Meanwhile, Y/N was getting ready on her end, her heart racing with excitement. She had always loved doing silly challenges and videos with her friends, and this one promised to be extra special. She was looking forward to spending time with Minjeong, and she knew that this challenge would be a great way to bond and create some unforgettable memories.
As she headed out the door, Y/N felt a sense of anticipation building up inside her. She knew that this day was going to be special, and she couldn't wait to see what the future held for her and Minjeong.
The park was just a short walk away, and Y/N arrived there a few minutes early, her eyes scanning the area for any sign of Minjeong. She spotted her girlfriend walking towards her, a bright smile on her face, and Y/N's heart skipped a beat.
"Hey!" Minjeong called out, waving enthusiastically. "I'm so excited to do this challenge with you!"
Y/N grinned, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness. "Me too!" she replied, holding up her phone. "I've got the video all cued up and ready to go. Let's do this!"
Y/N held up her phone, the video of the H.S.K.T challenge playing on the screen. "Okay, Minjeong, watch closely," she said, demonstrating the dance moves. "It's not too hard, I promise."
Minjeong watched intently, her eyes fixed on the screen. She nodded along, trying to commit the steps to memory.
When Y/N finished demonstrating the dance, Minjeong set her own phone down and stood up, a determined look on her face. "Okay, let's do this!" she exclaimed.
Y/N grinned, feeling a surge of excitement. "That's the spirit!" she said, holding out her hand to Minjeong.
Together, the two girls launched into the dance, laughing and spinning to the music. They stumbled over a few of the steps, but they didn't let that stop them. They kept going, their laughter and joy infectious.
As they finished the final step of the dance, Minjeong let out a whoop of excitement and threw her arms around Y/N. The two girls tumbled to the soft grass floor, holding onto each other tightly.
Their laughter erupted into the air, a joyful sound that echoed through the park. They lay there for a moment, holding onto each other, their hearts full of happiness.
Finally, Y/N managed to catch her breath and pause the video. She turned to Minjeong, a smile still plastered on her face. "You're an amazing dancer," she said, her eyes shining with amusement.
Minjeong grinned, her face flushed with excitement. "Thanks to you," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she gazed into Minjeong's eyes. She felt a surge of affection and love, and without thinking, she leaned in and gave Minjeong a light kiss on the cheek.
Minjeong's eyes fluttered closed, and she held onto Y/N's waist tightly, her face still flushed with excitement. The two girls lay there for a moment, the only sound their happy sighs and the distant music still playing from Y/N's phone.
It was a moment of pure joy and happiness, a moment that neither of them would ever forget. And as they lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, they both knew that their friendship had blossomed into something more – something special, something true, and something that would last a lifetime.
