Stone notices that Robotnik has been grumbling lately about his sore back; he is always hunched over his workstation modifying his tech, or sitting and staring at his monitors for hours on end. Stone decides to take an evening course in massage therapy to help his Doctor feel better.

The next time his boss starts to complain after an afternoon of being sedentary, Stone jumps at the chance to suggest a back and shoulder massage. Robotnik is curious and so he allows it, leaning back in his chair while Stone stands behind him. Stone feels like his fingers are pressing against a brick wall; the Doctor’s muscles are super tight and Stone wonders how he is even able to move in this manner.

Robotnik soon closes his eyes and is quiet throughout while Stone works his magic but when Stone eventually removes his hands, he remarks “Press harder next time, I barely felt a thing!” Stone is not discouraged, because it means that the Doctor has given him permission to treat him again.

It becomes an almost daily occurrence: Stone offers to massage his back and shoulders, Robotnik accepts and when he is satisfied, he dismisses his agent with “That will do, Stone.” Stone takes pride in seeing the dramatic change in his boss’s posture after the massage as he can sit up straighter. He comes to know every knot and every problem area as he works to release the tension from the Doctor’s stiff shoulders and aching back.

With Robotnik’s consent, he converts one of the spare rooms in the hideout to a massage therapy room, which contains a massage table, towels, a chair for the Doctor to place his shirt and coat, an oil warmer, speakers to play soft music and dim lighting to set the mood invoke a feeling of relaxation. 

Once Robotnik’s shirt is off and he is laying face down on the table and Stone places his oil-warmed hands on his bare skin, it is like a switch has flipped; Robotnik is groaning loudly and sighing appreciatively. Stone finds it so much better to massage the Doctor this way, the oil allowing his fingers to press deeper, to glide easier across his skin, kneading into the knots in his back and loosening them, easing the rigidity of his shoulders and the tension in his neck. He is a perfectionist, so he focuses all his attention on relieving every sore spot, every sound coming out of the Doctor’s mouth going straight to his-

(Also highly likely that Stone is gonna be weird about it, so he straddles the Doctor while rubbing his shoulders with the excuse that he can reach him better this way and manhandles him into odd positions like stretching his arms in opposite directions behind his back. Somehow Robotnik doesn’t seem to mind; in fact, he demands one every week and Stone is only too happy to oblige.)

I'm about to lose it. Stone refuses to let me order more ramen from my favorite japanese restaurant, (or any japanese resteraunt for that matter,) until I "diversify my diet." Or whatever fucking bullshit he's spouting now.

I would have obliterated him for this, if I didn't have the wonderfull foresight to store enough packaged ramen to get me through the rest of the week in our minifridge. Of which I will tolerate for now, despite the major dip in quality.

He is lucky I like his coffee: Otherwise, this glorified rat poison in a bowl might not have been as tolerated.

I mean, in game “Emmet” was Ansy’s rival, so I had to have a good reason why. Testing your friend‘s skill to see whether she truly can help your twin brother seems reasonable.

Also, yeah - the way Galar’s “Elite 4” is formatted (tournament style), there can only be one Champion every year, & Ansy couldn’t have beaten Ikrit. After that first journey together, Ansy had made some improvement, largely thanks to Ikrit (aka the mister taught me about actual strategy lol, where I used to just breeze through the games without really considering stats, STAB, natures, etc).

But Emmet doesn’t know that. Yet.
