#got to thinking#as unemployed people will#if universal basic income existed#you might have lots of people who were perfectly willing to work#but didn't work because they were unwilling to job hunt because it sucks so much#and then EMPLOYERS could jump through all the hoops#i mean yeah dude you can post your little job listing on indeed and whatnot#but most employees are found through networking#do you have relationships with the schools?#do you do the legwork and make the calls and attend the job fairs?#ever consider unionizing? it's a great way to find candidates!
