For some reason my brain latched onto Viktor's (original) Deathsworn Viktor skin back when Season 1 first came out and I made this whole AU but never wrote it. Well. I'm finally making it! Blending Arcane, League, and HC lore for this.

Send the email!!! And also check out online databases. A lot of museums and archives have them. And if something you need isn’t in the databases, find someone you can ask! This past semester I got a huge chunk of research for my history comic project by just emailing a historical society that had an exhibit on my subject to send me photos and scans of everything they could because I couldn’t travel to see it in person. And they did!

Plus I was able to interview some super cool artists for a different research project by just messaging them on social media and pitching it!

As an art school student it’s constantly stressed to me how important connections are and I get it, they’re scary. And you won’t always get a response and people might even be ugly to you (in which case you know to avoid them in the future anyways so it’s their loss). But you really don’t know until you try.

thinking about Jayce kneeling by the side of the bed every morning, sliding Viktor’s leg into its brace, kissing the inside of his knee.

The House on Emberlift Alley short story should be required reading for anyone making fanfics where Viktor has a kid. Differences between League and Arcane Viktor aside, the fact Viktor's solution to this random child getting bullied was to offer him augmentations and then give him a serum that temporarily removes his ability to feel fear needs to be brought into consideration.

Also, side note, the detail that he uses the damn Hexclaw laser to heat up the stove to make sweetmilk always cracks me up.
