Feeling all eggsistential...
You just can’t appreciate the value of an egg, until your own chicken has provided it for you. It feels so weird to think that this egg has come from inside your chicken. It’s like your little chicken just lost it’s innocence. What must it think as it feels this lump growing inside it and then forcing its way out? It must be a major shock when you don’t live with older chickens and have never seen an egg before.

So, I almost burnt the house down cooking chicken for our cat that can’t eat his catfood anymore. Then I had to go and protect him from our chickens, so that he could get to the bottom of the garden.
