What’s Ogata’s relationship with his family in your AU? Specifically Yuusaku and his mother? Does he let the viewer knows about his family?

Ogata Yandere AU!

Big explanation ahead:

Ogata lived with his mom just like in the manga. She was just as bad and had the same attitude. Child ogata poisons her, and she dies. after that, he lives with his grandfather and grandmother in this old house near the woods, where Ogata finds the Arisaka type 30 gun from his grandpa and practice with it. by the time Ogata was old enough (18-19), he enlists in the military where he meets Yuusaku. Ogata is pretty much freaked out by it, but his brother insists on being close to him, so he lets it. (Kinda like "keep your enemy's close") After some time of being "friends," Ogata meets his dad (Not an officer, just a guy with a son and his legal wife) and just as expected, doesn't give a shit about Ogata or his mother.

After the encounter, Ogata starts making rumors and framing his brother in the army, yuusaku doesn't get expelled but loses some respect. and as funny as it can get, Ogata is the one that is expelled for misconduct and abuse of authority (he wasn't the best soldier at the time)

A week or so after, he stabs his dad in the street before taking his wallet, to make it look like he was mugged, and leaves him bleeding out.

Yuusaku leaves the army to take care of his now widow mother, who is starting to have some mental problems.

Some years later, Ogata reaches out to yuusaku and asks him if he wants to go hunting just to reconnect after he got expelled from the army. Yuusaku gladly accepts, and while being deep on the woods, Ogata shoots him with his Type 30 and just leaves his body for some animal to eat.

That's all, it's a little messy because the things Ogata did in the manga are really hard to adapt in a modern view. I had to make a timeline to explain this point. And I don't think he would talk about his family to the viewer. Maybe sometimes say something about his brother or his mother, but not really explain further.
