went to see superman and really loved it! got curious about the plans for this universe and whether robert pattinson's batman would be part of it (i haven't seen his movie but i'm a big fan of how wet and sad he looks in every screenshot)
i was kind of disappointed to learn that no, he wouldn't be and what's more, they'd be focusing on an older batman and his relationship with damian wayne (my least favorite robin). then i saw jensen's name on the list of potential candidates and oh my god give it to me i need it so bad
#i still want a young batman like he and superman should be the same age and roughly at the same point in their superhero careers#but if we're getting an older batman this is the most obvious choice#because it would make me specifically really happy

went on a short road trip in the us this weekend for a wedding (i'm back home in iceland now) and can us americans please tell me why roadkill is such a common thing over there?? i saw so many dead animals and more than once the road was covered in blood and viscera. i have never seen this in any other country, what is the deal??
#it was a nice trip otherwise#the wedding was in colombus ohio which is genuinely a really cool city#so many pride flags all over the place#there was a shooting about a mile away from our hotel so that was also concerning (but there were no fatalities)#but yeah otherwise it was cool

started this research project a week ago and after ~60h of work i handed in my first draft ✌️
#i also worked a 48h shift this weekend mind you#but every waking moment i wasnt actively working at my job or eating i put into this project#my brain feels fried but this was also so much fun!#and now that this project is over all ive got left this semester is my masters thesis#and also my two part time jobs but they dont take too much of my time lmao
