           ❛     I don’t  ??   ❜     he says it as a question by accident ,     annoyance warping otherwise sweet features into a scowl .    Oh sure the gems didn’t have shitty stuff like the caste system but then again they didn’t even BLEED .    Gems were a nightmare at the Empires borders ,    a horror story to keep little grubs at bay ,    and Xefros was ready to bet his nugbone that everything was true .
