I'm pathologically fearful of sharing art I do for work online anymore but this just simply means to much for me not to commemorate it so I'm taking advantage of my surge of courage this morning.

Another aspect of the Gaza Genocide that I want to talk about is the complicity of Internet banking and crowdfunding websites like GoFundMe.

I have seen multiple Gazans raise enough money to leave for Egypt, but the banks and the crowdfunding websites freeze their money or cancel their funds for "suspicious activity" or whatever. Every day that passes in Gaza supplies get more scarce, conditions get more deadly, and the price to cross into Egypt gets more expensive. I've seen people, like ghost-90 here on Tumblr, raise the full amount to get their entire family out of Gaza, but their money gets frozen for so long that the original goal is only a fraction of the price now needed to cross the boarder.

These financial institutions should not be allowed to get away with contributing to the death toll in Gaza. They are intentionally keeping people trapped in a kill zone by withholding money that is rightfully theirs.

I'm so pissed and angry that every avenue for relief for Palestinians is being cut of left and right. It is vile that Gazans are being extorted for 10s of thousands of dollars by the Egyptian gov just to save their family's lives, but even when they play by this corrupt game, the world still finds a way to make them suffer.

My heart is with every Palestinian for the rest of time, from river to sea you will all be free. 🇵🇸❤️

So I read maggie-stiefvater‘s Raven Cycle in two days, count me in for teenagers obsessed with dead welsh kings ! Here’s a scene from the third book, because  I really, really liked it.

can't wait to see percy's reaction upon learning that the twelve major gods have been staying on the 600th floor of the empire state building. like imagine the rage of this twelve-year-old kid when he learns his dad, who allegedly abandonded him and his mom shortly after he was born, was actually just down the fucking street this whole time.

actually never gonna stop thinking abt the botl hug scene. what’s the last line. annabeth what’s the last line. and she just opens her arms!! percy walks right in and hugs her and she’s standing there with tears in her eyes and won’t tell him the last line. and he trusts her so much that he doesn’t ask again. imagine that. imagine being fourteen and knowing that you are doomed to a terrible fate and your best friend in the entire world just received a prophecy and won’t tell you the last line of it. and you just trust her. bc what else do you do. you love her. what else do you do.

i genuinely can't believe this is real

I need to remind people who think percabeth is happening to fast that these two idiots have no idea. We know and Grover knows and apparently Luke knows and he ain’t even there. But percabeth does not know.

there’s something strangely gutwrenching about the solstice having already passed. there have been minor changes in the “side adventures” of the trio.

they know they’re entering medusa’s house. they go to the arch for sanctuary against echidna and chimera. they go to waterland to help ares and convince hephaestus to stop being like his family. they go to the lotus hotel to get help from hermes.

in the books they’re getting tricked and distracted and losing all of that time on their quest was an accident. but they still made it in the end.

but in the show? they did everything right. they were aware of where they were at all times. but then they go and ask for help.

they try to ask for athena’s help and she lets monsters into her temple because they “embarrassed her.” they try to ask for hermes’ help but he doesn’t tell them until it’s too late that the lotus hotel messes with time.

they basically did everything right on their quest only for their biggest failures to occur because of the gods.

but poseidon gives him four pearls. four, instead of three. one for sally too. but we already know that she gets left behind.

they tried so hard only for the deadline to lapse.
