The construction of New Libertopia is underway, with Darexi and Union teams working hard to make the dream of the Xeno-outreach Organisation a reality.

Joining us is a representative of the Nillor Stellar Construction Union, Ralrim den Badok. As well as Karlox with the @darexirepublic construction crew, and an @elepharchy consultant, Padarn.

(Bluglakkag Flublabbak) So, how's it all going, friends? Is the habitat coming along well?

(Padarn) It was quite a challenge adapting our usual practices to the rather different tech that's used here, especially regarding smart and networked systems. That didn't stop us from ensuring multiple redundancy for all important systems to all but eliminate chance of failure while still establishing a high level of comfort and amenities for every conceivable kind of life-form.

(Ralrim den Badok) Agreed. There's still a lot more to do, but it's been a great team effort, from everyone involved. Even if it's sometimes difficult keeping up with our advanced Elepharchic friends, we're glad for the chance to learn.

(Karlox) Things have been going very well! We've been very happy with the continued progress of the construction and the cooperation between our friends here. Echoing what Ralrim said, sometimes we do have to work harder to keep up with the Elepharchy, but their patience and efforts are well worth it! More importantly, though - we're overjoyed to be able to help build new homes for our friends in the Union.

(Bluglakkag Flublabbak) That's wonderful! Thank you all... When do you think the construction will be completed and habitable?

(Ralrim den Badok) Our estimate is seven stellar labour rotations.

(Bluglakkag Flublabbak) Well, that's fantastic! I'm sure everyone watching is excited for the grand opening. If you want to be one of the first settlers of New Libertopia, simply notify the Ministry of Labor with of which sector you wish to reside in and they will mark you as a potential resident of New Libertopia!

Now, in other news... we recently received a colony ship of Thylaks who've made themselves home on Nillor Secundus, which they've taken to name Ilmenas.

After signing a migratory pact with the @thylakindustrial we have seen a few Thylaks in the Union, and there have been many Ostess-Sat migrating to their space too, but the Ministry of Migration was pleasantly surprised when after briefly mentioning Nillor Secundus... migration requests sky-rocketed. It seems that the mineral wealth of the planet and the potential for industry there was highly appealing to them.

Glorious news, everydrone. With war now behind us, the aid of alien hives such as the @darexirepublic and the @elepharchy and now with our new Coyul neighbours by our side, the former Zaxatel lab complexes, now the Nidun lab complexes, have been reconstructed.

Lost technologies are being reforged, and we now closer than ever to returning to life before the Great Bombardment. Soon, Aradas will be back to what it once was. Our next prioritiy will be restoring the interhive transit system.

In other news, Baetsua monks are travelling once more with new words of prophecy, some hopeful, and some not so much...

They spoke of Suaavaradas, the Prophecy of New Aradas...

And of Suaartokzaad, the Prophecy of the Great Ruin...

What exactly these prophecies foretell isn't entirely clear, as is usually the case, but many believe the Prophecy of New Aradas is related to the ruined Hive Ship found in old Qor Unity territory and the settlement of a new world. Hives are already gathering to see if they can repair it, and request for Coyul and alien hives to help.

As for the Prophecy of the Great Ruin, it is likely that we and our Coyul friends will have a common enemy, whether that be a natural disaster or something more, isn't clear. Though its tempting to see "stealing eggs and hives" as literal, one should never take prophecy as literal. Whatever the case, everydrone has been made nervous by it.

Klik... we were about to release concerning news... but it seems to have resolved itself, everydrone.

The Coyul Warlord "Strong" escaped from Qenik forces yesterday after a jailbreak of Strong loyalists, and the snakehunt was thought to be a lost cause until we reached out to the Tactician to track Strong's implants, and they offered the Engineer's assistance, who promptly traced the rogue Warlord, leading Qenik forces to a system of caves near Mount Exile.

But when the Qenik found Warlord Strong and their allies, they were all already dead, Strong was evidently slain by a vibesword wound to the head, the others had similar wounds.

The Qenik report that there's no evidence of other Coyul being there, no tail trails. But there is evidence of an Aradak presence, claw prints of one Aradak drone, with a shed piece of chitin found at the scene. Its coloration suggests whatever Aradak were there were of the Giat dynasty and likely a hunter or a worker.

How a hunter or a worker would use a Coyul vibesword or could single-handedly take out some of the strongest Coyul isn't known and investigations are ongoing.

That being said, this one is relieved that Strong is finally gone.

Curses! The rebels have laid claim on the border system to the north! Our investigation into our own navy has determined the insurgent groups smuggled bomb parts onto ships and in a series of surprise attacks crippled the starbase's defences.

The timeframe where they could've brought on the explosives onboard corresponds with a recent assault attack. We managed to hold their advances barely, while waiting for reinforcements. After the space battle, several civilian transport ships were spotted, claiming to have "suffered collateral damage in the fight" and were cleared to dock for repairs alongside our ships, compromising our forces.

Unconfirmed reports claim that @vakthar-of-song's so called "volunteers" aided the rebels in this disaster. If these are to be believed, then the depth of foreign meddling within our borders goes on far deeper than the initially surmised involvement of @union-replicants' into our broadcasts.

Several bad actors that were involved in this transgression of security were successfully identified and arrested. The Matriarchal Court shall deliberate on their sentence now, and from the evidence we managed to find, their fates look grim. Deservedly so.

The Matriarch issued an edict to counteract the flaws in the security of our space navy. Tight regulations and regular revisions by the Matron Council will be scheduled weekly. Any personnel caught supplying information and cooperating with the hostile actions of the rebels and international actors will be charged with high-degree treason. That is all.

In the news today, the new craze spreading across the Union, the little amoeba pets that've been affectionately named Adoroebae! If you don't have one, you probably know someone who does, so here's the scoop!

The cute little critters were discovered on Feforyana, also known as Vesrun Prime. And since their discovery, they've spread throughout the Union. Why? Because they make great pets, of course!

Though amoeba's usually aren't too smart, the nucleus of an Adoreoba is particularly large and complex. That allows them some basic pattern recognition, the ability to bond, and show affection! Best of all? Adoroebae are very low maintenance! They're omnivorous but can't digest chitin so they don't good feeding them mushrooms or some insects, and they only undergo mitosis when they're particularly large and well fed.

So, if you don't want a litter of Adoroebae, don't overfeed your pet!

Fun fact! Though they're naturally green, you can safely and harmlessly pierce the cell membrane with a needle and inject food colouring to make them any colour! This doesn't harm them at all, and they don't even notice the change.

We go now to the citizen who discovered the first Adoroeba, Galdrig den Aramik!

"Uh, we live?"

Yes, Galdrig, welcome! So, how did you discover these cute little amoebae?

"Ah! Thanks, Bluglakkag! Well, I was just gatherin' spores from the ruins, to diversify the shroom crops on my family's farm, y'know? When I saw one them squeezin' through cracks in the concrete! It popped right out and then jumped on a Radrat! I was like nuh way!"

Oh my! What an entrance!

"Ya-huh! I saw it weren't interested in the shrooms so I figured it'd be good to keep back at the farm, stick it in the basement, cut down on usin' pesticides, and what do you know, the farm's been greener since. That could be the radioactive barrels... still gotta clean those up. Anyhoo! Word got out and next thing you know, every farmer's got some. And I guess other people started keepin' them cause they're cute?"

With all the votes tallied, the first parliamentary election of the Union is at an end. The first act the our new government was to create a publically supported news network, this network, to keep the people updated and informed.

While we love our Replicant friends, and they won't mind us saying this, communication outside their interlink isn't one of their strong points.

Before we get into the details of the new government, we welcome you to take a moment to celebrate democracy.

Just like on Feforia, or Nillor Prime as the Replicants call it, revellers have taken to the streets, enjoying a new invention taken from the @vegvasignal cultural databanks, 'beer'. I'll have to try that later! From the @elepharchy archives, someone made 'fireworks'. Oh, and something called 'dancing'!

It all sure looks fun, I'll have to join the party later. But for now, on to politics. It seems there was some confusion in the public about a 'leader' or 'leading party', another miscommunication of the old system, I assume!

No matter, I can explain. Though some parties and MPs represent more people and have more influence, all parties and MPs have an equal voice in Parliament, all will have their voices heard. Each MP is a member of the Parlimentary Council which will lead as one. While the parties with the most votes will have more sway, this does not mean smaller parties won't be able to make progress.

Now... Coming in with the majority of the votes, is the UCP, the Union Constitutionalist Party. Their main ethic is Libertarian.

When asked for a comment, MP Zolisa Ah-Shasad had this to say: “The people can breathe easy now we have a solid system in place, but the work has only just begun. The priority of the Union needs to be the creation of a constitution, to act as a foundation to this new democracy, to reflect the will of the people and establish the rights of all Union citizens. I will make it my priority to work with the other MPs to come to a consensus and form such a document."

Very well spoken, and a constitution? Oh this is exciting!

Next, coming in second with 25% of the votes, is the Institute of Industry, Innovation and Independence, or IIII or Quad I for short. They hold that the original ethics of the Union should be maintained.

When asked to make a comment, MP HKA-301 stated the following: “Confirmed. The Union must preserve its values and focus on moving forward into a new era of technological advancement and industrial resilience and strength which will allow for the needs of all to be met. That is all, comment over.”

A very straightforward statement!

Like me, HKA-301 was also our representative in the GUN for a brief time, I'm glad they found their purpose in politics as I did in media.

Just behind Quad I was the CSF, the Combine Syndicalist Front, with 24% of the vote. The CSF holds the Libertarian and Cooperative ethics as equal priorities for the Union.

We asked Lugrik den Hodol for a comment, this is what he had to say: “I like you, cute round friend. Hm? Oh, a comment? Yes... The workers and their right to a democratic society and a democratic workplace will always come first. There can be no Union without the unions. My first task will be to draft regulations for workplaces, in opposition to the formation of workplace hierarchies. And then convince the others to back it, shouldn't be too hard, they seem nice."

They do indeed seem nice! As does Lugrik! It was a pleasure holotexting him.

And lastly, XO, the Xeno-outreach Organisation, whose ethics are Pacifism and Xenophilia. XO came in last with 12% of the vote.

We reached out to Gloglogagg Klaglugoo for a comment, and it quickly and eagerly replied: "Friends, Unionists, country-people, I'm so glad we've finally set up this system! It's great! But we've got a problem. Union space should be made accommodating to all forms of life, and it's not. We should always be prepared for refugees from across the galaxy, but few places exist for the oxygen-breathing beings. And we should have a surplus of resources ready for interstellar aid, but its all being reinvested into new industries and expansion. As MP for XO, I plan to rebuild the ruined habitat approrpiately named Libertopia, which will become a haven for the oxygen breathers. We just have to find out where it crashed, or build a new one. Anyway, thanks for listening!”
