I am vibrating from excitement finishing this thing. I love the flow of the words, I love this song, I love the colors I love Kyana with facepaint I love marking time with Vhas finally getting color in his skin, I LOVE IT~<3

Anyway I now have the ridiculous headcanon that Vhas's singing voice sounds like Luke Hemmings, which I must impress upon you Makes Very Little Sense. Like, he's a bard but Luke Hemmings 1000% takes better care of his damn vocal chords than This Motherfucker. I got this idea because I needed a background speedpaint for this video which is just an extended comparison of the writing work in Gravity Falls and Homestuck. I realized Mable Pines would 1000% be a Heart Player and she would be radically kind to Dirk Strider if he so much as hinted that he was settling into being broody.

I scripted and thumbnailed like 6 other pages of back and forth, but I'm not about to pretend I plan to actually make them.

I literally did Research for what kinds of mermaids the boys would be. Holly is a guppy because they're very peaceful little fish that are easy to introduce to other fishies. Ward is a Sturgeon because they're very simple, very durable critters and also my favorite thing to catch in Animal Crossing. And Oscar is a cuttlefish! Because they are squishy little bitty cephalopods who have some of the best camouflage and are secretly very smart.
