Today I woke so saddened by the devastating news that Malaysia Airlines #mh17 had been shot down over the Ukraine. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it, and how many hearts are hurting. So I created this post to remind everyone (myself included) the importance of prayer - whatever prayer is to you. Prayer doesn't have to be a religious thing. It is simply positive energy you put out into the universe for those in need to soak up - and there are so many people in need right now. My love, prayers, and good vibes go out to everyone affected by this horrible event.

A little snippet of my lounge room wall. Featuring #penheartspaper 'Roam' and a few of my other favourite finds. This is the original 'Roam' piece. Once I've scanned and edited my artworks, I either stick the original to my wall, or tear the word off the paper, and frame it like so. Other fave finds include: My @jaivasicek / @ahoytrader palm tree tile, strung bells gifted to me from a friend who visited India, Shell collar necklace that I brought back from Bali last year, one of my favourite landscapes by @alimitton in the timber frame, and the corner of one of two Native American painted wood slabs I scored at an op-shop. You + Venture = magic This weekend is a long one in Australia (happy birthday Queen Elizabeth!), which gives us even more time & reason to go and be adventurous... Even if it's just going and exploring a nearby suburb you've never paid much attention to before. There are stories out there waiting to be found! I implore you to explore! This photo was taken in a beautiful flower meadow we stumbled upon in Kansas. Our legs were covered in pretty yellow pollen post-galavant. I hope whatever you do, you have a wonderful and safe long weekend, and if you're lucky - end up with pollen covered bodies. Love & greatness your way! xSarah

Stay hungry | stay foolish (Steve Jobs). Stay up late building the highway to your dreams. Lately I find myself saying more and more, "I feel like the older I get, the more irresponsible (foolish) I get". This is 100% related to the fact that instead of doing what logic tells me to do, I do what my gut tells me to do - which always seems like the 'foolish' choice. (Sorry Ma) Well, so far my foolishness has paid off more than anything else in my life. The stars have aligned, and despite obstacles that surface (which by the way, are very welcome) I am the happiest I have ever been. My heart is full! Staying hungry is easy. That's just passion. Everyone has it, just don't let others try and stomp all over yours. Staying foolish is a little bit harder, and again is usually squandered by other people. There is something unexplainable, and magical that we can feel when we don't let logic or the opinion of others stand in our way. That feeling that lights a fire in your belly, that then turns into butterflies, a voice that keeps you up at night. Listen to that. Regardless of how foolish it may seem! [SNEAKPEEK] The rad dudes from @thou_mayest Coffee Roasters in Kansas City commissioned me to do an #eastofeden inspired artwork for their new shop -which is beyond amazing - and is opening at the end of this month. So naturally, #timshel was the word, and coffee beans were the medium. Here's a process peek. We'll share the finished piece once the #thoumayest doors open in a week or so, so stay posted. In the meantime, check out their beautiful video story on the website thoumayest.com - it's so good it will have non-coffee drinkers craving coffee (I'm speaking from experience) ✌️

What a fucking magical adventure. That's the only way I know how to sum up my time spent dancing & driving across the US, with my [now] lover. Yes... I fell in love! This piece is the first of its kind, and I think it conveys perfectly the kind of adventure we had. Happy, exhausted, REAL. Our adventure was set to take us through CA-AZ-NM-TX-OK-MO-KS-CO-UT-NV-CA... All in 2 weeks! We started our journey with a night under the stars in the Joshua Tree desert, where we counted shooting stars, and watched the galaxy we call home, slowly climb over us. The next day we explored a little bit of the desert, that my barefeet didn't take so kindly to, and then made our way to the White Sands national park in NM - if you have not been, you must! It is beyond amazing! There were many other spontaneous stops along the way in small towns, flower ladened meadows, and ice covered lakes - just to name a few - but I've just realised half way through this post that too much beauty was seen to share with you in one post. So I look forward to sharing bits and pieces with you over the coming weeks. This post was also created to let you all know that I'm back! And am slowly but surely making my way through all the emails you lovely souls have sent. If there is anything urgent you would like me to get back to ASAP, please feel free to re-send so it comes to my attention sooner. Today is a happy day for me over here in America, and for my family back home in Australia - as my Dad has now finished the first part of his cancer treatment - woo! He still has a long way to go, but everything is going so smoothly I know he's going to continue to fight off this nasty disease with even more strength, and determination, until it leaves his body for good. My Dad has always wanted to visit Yosemite, and his favourite quote is "Dare to Dream"... So I thought the best way to pay homage to my Dad & his wild heart, and celebrate the end of this tough chapter, would be to create something especially for him in wild Yosemite, out of wild flowers. This is for you Daddio, thanks for daring me to dream, and teaching me how to believe in them. X

Here we comeeee. Today I am crossing the sea to the fine land of the USA for a 2 week road trip with my buddy @_noel_alva - woo! As we will be on the road a lot, email correspondence will be a little limited. I will have someone checking my emails for anything urgent, and I am still in the process of replying to a couple of hundred emails after TWO stupid virus' owned my inbox. Which reminds me, if you received an email with a link from me - don't open it! Sorry! This is now my 29th hour awake as I madly worked through commission jobs and emails yesterday/last night, and I am soooo looking forward to getting on the plane for a snooze. Smell ya later x PS. Lists get painted 'round here. Tomorrow I'm leaving the Mothership to go on an American adventure with my dear friend @_noel_alva - woo! And after writing (painting) multiple lists, I came to the conclusion that these are the only 3 things I need. These 3 things will make me eternally rich... Of the heart.
