can we share this for the Swifties that can't go to the Eras Tour? For those people who haven't got the money or the time. Or have no Swiftie friends and don't want to go alone. Who can't trade friendship bracelets. Or the silent peolpe who don't have a Swiftie social media account.
Cause they are out there. And I want them to feel seen and appreciated and loved. It's ok if you can't go. It doesn't mean that you are no real fan 'cause that's not true. You are a real Swiftie.
And we know you're there. We see you. We love you.

Okay I’ve been simmering on this today but like. We need more representations of fatness and weight gain as signs of healing. So so often in media weight loss is meant to be a sign of becoming healthier or happier and I’m ready to see more of the opposite!
Give me characters who hadn’t had secure access to food in the past having stable food and filling out from finally being able to eat when they’re hungry.
Give me characters who have always felt like they had to adhere to a standard for fear of judgment finally gaining weight as they become more comfortable with themselves and their bodies.
Give me couples getting fatter together because they know they’ll be loved and because life’s too short to worry about dieting and controlling intake all the time.
Give me characters who’ve struggled with disordered eating habits in the past who get progressively chunkier as they recover with the help of people who adore them.
Give me fatness as a sign of comfort. Of health. Of security and recovery and confidence. Give me fatness as a sign of happiness.

to all you sexy fat people this summer. wear the sleeveless shirt. wear the crop top. wear the open back top. wear the bikini. wear the shorts. wear the dress. wear the skirt. even if you're feeling self conscious. because somewhere out there is a fat person terrified of showing off their own body, who will see you shamelessly walking down the street wearing exactly what they wish they could wear but are too nervous, and they'll see themselves in you. and it just may be the push they need to go outside tomorrow in clothes they never thought theyd wear

by the way this is the procedure to get out of gaza
it costs 5k USD per adult and 2.5k USD per child
if you want to raise this money via GOFUNDME it has to be arranged by someone who is NOT living in Palestine because GFM does not release money to Palestine. GFM also verifies every detail so it has to be accurate so you need someone who is out of Palestine and also familiar with the bureaucracy.
once you raise the money one of your FIRST ORDER RELATIVES have to deposit this money IN CASH and IN PERSON at the Cairo offices of a company called hala. this person cannot be a Palestinian male under 40 because they are not allowed to be Egypt without a permit
once you pay the money you have to WAIT for your names to be published by Egyptian military at the Rafah crossing and the you have 24 hours to get out
it is a very long and convoluted process that is impossible for most Palestinians who do not have contacts in other counties. Please please donate to the GFMs you see floating around because they’ve been verified and this is only the first step in an arduous journey. Once in Cairo, Palestinians aren’t allowed to work so they need money for their support also.

People who say this are literally saying that they prefer for the workers to all be inexperienced and desperately looking for other jobs. But they somehow also expect good service.

“The Great War” just tells a story about a tough time that they got through and “You’re Losing Me” is all about being unable to overcome a tough time and having to walk away and her pairing them together makes for a very heartbreaking story.

The Mashups Tonight!
I listened again and again and again to tonight’s mashup with The Great War and aside from her switching “we” to “I” in several places, I realized that she also changed the tense of some verbs. Below is the way she performed the lyrics in the mashup. Made me think about the fact that one of the “Great Wars” she’s dealt with is internal conflict about the decision to come out (assuming she does) and now she seems to anticipate another Great War about which she sings, “I vow (active and present) to not cry anymore” “If I / We survive the Great War”. Maybe this is telling herself that she will not be broken by whatever comes from her public outing of self , no matter how brutal it might be, she will not cry about it and be strong in order to survive it. See the attached screenshots. You will get what I’m talking about.
Curious what others think!
Purple asterisk is for words that she made some emphasis on. Red bold words are changed she made from original lyrics.
