Lapis lazulies have a natural tendency to be fucking mean

One thing I often deal with as an administrator at Little Homeschool is walking the very thin line between reenforcing the previous Homeworld caste system and acknowledging the fact that some gem types have a natural predisposition to certain issues.

Pearls are just inherently prone to self esteem issues.

Quartzes often have extreme sensory needs.

Sapphires have high rates of depression.

This isn't "proof that the Diamonds were right." This is just kind of how it is. There's a reason why they're like that.

And keeping these facts in mind isn't inherently wrong, especially when you understand why things are like that

Quartzes have sensory issues because they're designed to constantly running around and fighting wars.

Pearls struggle to be independent because we just aren't wired that way.
