I love when people who watch gun guys on YouTube discover the vile, hateful shit they post on twitter and are all like "man, his videos are so cool, but this is too far!" Like they were expecting that the guy who based his whole online persona around machines designed for the sole purpose of maiming and killing people would always have the best interests of others in mind.

Everytime I read a news story about some kid in america who shot their parent to death with their own gun, there are always a bunch of gun nuts in the comments being all like 'well if you hadn't been such a MORON and locked your gun up SAFELY then this wouldn't have happened', not realising they're reprimanding a mourning family without any consideration to the tragedy that just occurred to them. People like to joke about how these people care more about their guns than they do children but it honestly isn't even a joke anymore. They genuinely couldn't give less of a shit about the fact that a person just died and they instead use that death as a springboard to spread their pro-gun messages, even if they aren't meaning to. It's genuinely sickening.

Kinda weird how people will treat suicide as a rightfully taboo subject only to turn around and tell everyone they don't like that the world would be a better place if they offed themselves. It's hypocritical nonsense, and I'm sick of seeing people online just let it slide without raising even one question.

No one is talking about how fucking backwards instagram is, ong go into the comments of any reel or photo that so much as MENTIONS lgbt in any way and you'll see 10 year olds with Chad profile pictures commenting that it's okay to hate on gay people because they won't stop talking about how gay they are.
????????
Like I get no platform is exempt from these types of comments but holy shit you'll get ratio'd to heaven if you reply with anything that isn't backing up these ludicrous takes.

Building off my last post, it's kind of relieving knowing that AI art is being pushed by the same people who pushed NFTs, because they jumped ship en-masse as soon as NFTs started losing money - and the exact same thing will happen again when these goons find out that you legally can't copyright anything an AI produces.
I might eat my words for this, but give it a year and the only people who will still be talking about AI are genuine technological enthusiasts and scholars - the cryptobros will have likely found a new market to latch on to and suck dry.

AI and cryptocurency have the power to revolutionise society for the better. It just sucks that our early adopters were raised by Andrew Tate and Elon Musk.

My least favourite genre of YouTube videos are those ones titled some shit like 'how to enjoy video games again' or 'why games aren't fun anymore' like ik it's sometimes hard to find new hobbies, especially when you have good memories of your old one, but when you start making tutorial videos on how to enjoy your own free time, I start to think it's time you go outside a little more, Jeremy.

Someone should make a Saw movie but the victims are just slightly unlikeable people, and the trials they have to endure are boring as hell like listening to an hour of sorting algorithm noises, or ripping off a waxing strip or something.

I really dislike the cinematic universe-ification of every series nowadays, it's not enough to dedicate serious effort to making one really good movie, instead you have to plan 5 movies ahead, making sure to remove scenes, characters or plot points that could cause continuity errors down the road. Marvel is such slop nowadays because they're afraid to do something that could have lasting consequences because Doctor Strange: The Grimblo Conundrum (2025) could have its storyline altered if they dared had stakes in their movie. It's to the point that they're just disregarding some of the hundreds of plot points they've created. In Eternals, that movie that everyone definitely saw and loved, a giant fucking god hand just emerges from the ocean, and as far as I know, it's never mentioned again.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with sequels or progressive storylines, it's just annoying watching a film, not for enjoyment, but to further understand the underlying context of a tiny part of an increasingly complicated and inconsistent universe.

It pisses me off more than it should that AAA game devs have set the default price of new releases at $70, but have yet to set a default for the quality of these outgoing releases, the modern video game market is like one of those ads that play at like 4:00am on a Thursday that's advertising some mop with 12 adjustable heads and all these gimmicks, then you buy it only for it to fall apart because the company spent more money hiring Billy Mays to do the voiceover than they did designing the product. I hate that unfinished games are the new standard and I hate that the execs are comfortable jacking up the prices because they know people aren't going to stop buying games.

I'm that type of weirdo that likes hearing the optional dialogue that deepens the lore of whatever game I'm playing. SO MANY TIMES I have sat in one area right before a load zone, running around in circles, waiting for the dialogue to end so I can continue to the next area. If you're going to make a game with lore extensive enough to warrant audio tapes, PLEASE design a path for the player to follow that is long enough to encompass the time frame of the audio, or don't have it cancel out when moving between areas, or better yet, just have written lore I can read at my own pace, written notes have always felt more diagetic to me than audio anyway.

It's kind of crazy that people who make "art" with AI are always gloating that their "work" will spell the end of regular art, or Hollywood, or Disney, or whatever. Like, their entire system is literally built upon scanning previously uploaded works and smushing them together? It's literally a kamikaze attack on the art industry, destroying already established jobs and in the process, destroying their own. Maybe I'm just too stupid to get it, but I don't think this is a viable business strategy.
