Win A Court of Mist and Fury or Any May YA Series New Release
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas Hardcover Bloomsbury USA Childrens Released 5/3/2016 Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court–but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms–and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future–and the future of a world cleaved in two. With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas’s masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights. I love this book. I’ve loved it since @brennayovanoff started writing it and I loved it as I was paging through it now. I’d love it even if I didn’t know Brenna.
But I do and so I can ask for an advanced review copy to give away on the blog. I’ve sketched in it and now LET’S HAVE A CONTEST. All you have to do to enter is reblog this post before 9 PM EST on 2/1, and Brenna will pick one of the reblogs (it’s also running on Twitter) to win. It’s open internationally, and the only thing that’ll disqualify you is if you enter more than once on Twitter/ once on Tumblr (that’s twice total if you have both social media accounts which I realize not everyone does and makes this inherently not fair but that’s life I’m afraid).
I’m so excited for you guys to love this novel, too.

I'm still not very experienced with ink and colored pencil, but here's my chibi Percy from Critical Role (I'm so excited that the show is back this week!). Also, please forgive the poor photo quality (my camera is not great).

I am just shy of 40k followers here. I reckon when I get there I’m gonna give away a print from my Society6 store. Prolly one of these two guys.
ETA: yeah, why not, actually, reblog this and when I hit 40,000 followers I’ll pick two random reblogs from it as winners, whenever that might be.

A quick ink and colored pencil chibi drawing of Lemley from TitansGrave (my New Favorite Thing - this show is amazing! :D). It turned out okay for my first attempt at using these media, although not quite as great as I had hoped.
#titansgrave#lemley#dr lobotomy#awesome badass cyborg girl#seriously I love this show and I really hope it gets a second season#the ashes of valkana#chibi

Okay, so I just got these proof sheets from Llewellyn Worldwide (the publisher distributing my tarot deck) and I have one set to give away on each of my social media places. The sheets are infant tarot cards, basically — after this, they get laminated and cut and boxed and whatnot.
The real deck will be available everywhere in September, but if you want a shot at winning a Giant Stiefvater Art Thing Tarot Art Poster (actually two; to get the full deck, it’s spread across two sheets), all you have to do is reblog this post before July 2nd is over in all time zones on the planet. Then I’ll randomly pick one of the reblogs and contact you for shipping info.

So I really love seeing other peoples' artwork that they submit for The Art Assignment (which is amazing; I'm so glad that there is something like this on YouTube!), but I haven't found the courage to share my own ideas... Until now.
I know that it's late, but here is my Sorted Books assignment. I sorted my own books, and I suppose that they are semi-autobiographical in some ways.
1. All Quiet on the Western Front / The Sound and the Fury / The Things They Carried / Every Day -- This is about the quiet ones, like myself, who sometimes feel their unspoken thoughts and emotions weighing down on them. (I tried to hide The Sound and the Fury in shadow to make the composition more symbolic; hopefully it didn't obscure the title too much...)
2. The Outsiders / Nevermore / The Geeks Shall Inherit the Earth -- A more hopeful set; I think that it speaks for itself.
3. Wicked / Angel / Sinner / Halo -- Not so much autobiographical, but I found it interesting that I had these conflicting books, and they work really well together in a sequence.

When I saw these books at Goodwill, I gasped so loudly that I scared my sister.
WHAT?! IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING??? I asked myself as I proceeded to snatch up each book and hug them tightly.
SURELY THE BOOK GODS ARE SMILING DOWN UPON ME TODAY!!!
Needless to say, I was extremely excited to find these books and purchase them for only three dollars. Thank you, Goodwill!

So I’ve seen a lot of great TRC posts on my dash lately and the numbers are rising, but I haven’t seen any networks for these wonderful books! So I figured we should try and start one. What is trcnetwork?
The Raven Cycle Network will be a place for all the fans of trc to get together and share head canons, fan art, fics, poetry, edits, etc and just have fun discussing the books we all love!
How to join
Please reblog this to spread the word! The more people that join the better this network will be.
Message me introducing yourself! I’d love to get to know you, but you don’t have to be following me. You can tell me your age, name, favorite character in trc, or whatever else you might want to add (like if you’re a writer or an artist or an avid poetry enthusiast, whatever)
I’ll open the network up after I get 5-10 members, but I won’t cap it at that. More people are welcome to join, I just have to see how many people are actually interested first.
What will we do?
Talk to other fans! This network will be a great way to make friends in a safe and open environment. This will be a hate free network. It will be a place to throw around ideas and have fun, not put down ships/characters/users etc. No wars. period.
Support each other and build the fandom. We’ll tag our trc posts with the network tag, which will be #trcnetwork so that other members can see them and reblog them.
help with beta reading, graphic making, fic/art ideas etc. If this gets big enough it could really be a great place to get help with any of these things. We can bounce ideas off of each other!
Anyone is welcome to join! It doesn’t matter if you don’t make edits or tics or art. You matter and you are a part of this fandom and we want you!
Please reblog this to spread the word! As soon as I see there’s interest for a network, I’ll start setting everything up.

My entry for Maggie Stiefvater's Raven Cycle art contest: a graphite drawing of Chainsaw that I made almost a year ago (using a reference). I started to draw something a bit more creative for the contest, but ... my laziness may have gotten the better of me.

I decided to make this and procrastinate study oops.
Last month, I hit the 2000 followers mark! It’s crazy. I was getting around to doing a giveaway for it after exams finished when at some point I realised that both my birthday and Christmas are next month, and then New Years after that! So why not combine them into one big giveaway!
Prize: A book (or books) of your choice from the book depository that totals less than $25AUD
Winners: at the moment only one winner will be randomly selected. Maybe two depending on how my bank account feels when this giveaway ends.
Closes: New Years! 1st January 2015.
Requirements:
You have the be following me. It’s partially a follower giveaway after all.
You can reblog this post as many times as you want for extra entries. Unfortuantely, likes don’t really work with the rafflecopter.
How can you enter? Counting notes on a post is really hard when there’s thousands of entries. So you can enter via the rafflecopter (please).
That’s all there is to it! So I have to say a big thanks for following me, merry (early right now) Christmas, happy (also early) new year, and GOOD LUCK!
