people might think creating OC lore involves a lot of thinking & planning, but in my personal experience, OC development is more like a divine vision from a god slamming you over the head with a mallet while ur doing the fuckin dishes or folding laundry

On my earlier post about Ena and the way she speaks, I wanted to expand more on it and point out a few things. Namely that a few characters understand what Ena is saying perfectly and that not every character misunderstands her. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that Enaspeak is a type of dialect that some Entities know how to speak fluently which is why they are able to understand Ena right away.

For example, the Shaman has no issue with talking to Ena or understanding what she's saying. In fact, Ena even finishes one of his sentences/jokes and that's how they end up bonding.

And there's the Witch Sisters who seem to have their own strange way of talking just like Ena where they completely use different words or terminology to get across their meaning. When you talk to the Witch Sisters, and you find the 4th sister across the bridge the conversation she has with Ena is littered with Enaspeak. She mentions bringing her Corpse to her sisters as if she's dead lol

Taskii Maiden also seems to speak Enaspeak pretty well, but she likes to pull jokes/pranks and mess around with people. From their interactions they almost speak in the exact same way. It's just that Taskii Maiden is so energetic and trickstery that she only has one side to her.

All this to say, while Ena may be difficult to understand for some characters, it seems there's a few who do know what she's saying perfectly and even speak in the same way.
