"Talo o Nagpapatalo"

Form of Tradition Review
Tradition plays a big part in the society. It isn't just the paintings our painters draw, the structures that the artists made, artworks a person create to show history nor the things from the ancestors left in the caves. Tradition is a country's identity. It identifies one, that gives a distinct character on one another and a demostrative display. But because of modernization and such, tradition changes that it depended on the audiences point of view and understanding in a piece that shows more than what could it have been made of.
Whether it is Third World Society or not yet, this difficulty struggles a lot in an artist creative way of showing off; Carlos "Botong" Fraccisco for example is an known artist for displaying his patriotic attitude towards his artworks, he is one of those hardworking persona that built such a great inage in the Philippines Art history and also a great artist to be followed but one cannot construe a magnificent work if he or she doesn't feel the same patriotism. No matter how an artist create crafts but doesn’t even know the historical and sociological background of our country, he or she cannot attain an art worth of and same goes to the audiences who are not literate or even have an idea on what’s the meaning of such symbols, lines and colors. Moreover, it limits artists to unfold, to exhibit and develop his or her ability in new ways in expressing.
It may continue to exist, especially in the countryside and to our folks that continually conserving these aesthetical crafts, songs and oral literature but we cannot deny the fact that our culture is not an autonomous realm, it cannot separate from economic and political. Yet, traditional artworks are more than that, it has its own values that manifest from the very beginning. It is like the individuality of a land.
If we really understand how significant our traditional arts is, we can surely save it from not just being an indigenous assemblage but also from the changes like it has something that conveys more than just an art but has messages and expressions to wake or call people.
