I love these type designs by Fatih Hardal. I believe these are done in ink. They are very expressive while minimal and geometric. The details are beautiful.

Jed Chisholm. This kind of type style gives of a very 70s-80s feel. A lot of Chisholm’s type has this type of style. He is a very talented type designer.

“Terrible Two” by Severino Canepa. I found this poster as I was researching Russian Constructivism for a possible project. Canepa uses the iconic black, white and red palette associated with constructvism. I like the treatment of the type as well. It is very bold and dynamic which pairs well with the other design elements like the lightening bolts.

I love how the letter forms that make up ‘thrilling’ so minimally and effectively take the characteristics of buildings at night.

Bauhaus inspired typeface - very geometric and minimal. This is another style we’ve been learning about in Graphic Design History. Along with Swiss Style, The Bauhaus School inspires me as well.

FE Iron. I love the dynamic type treatment of the fe. They come out of the element rectangle and have a vibrating effect,

This type design has a strong Futurism influence. This was a period all about type and experimentation. This poster especially reminds me of Calligrammes--a typographic experimentation by Guillaume Apollinaire. He related visual form to poetic content.
