मैं पटना...

मबंु ई डूबी थी, असम डूबा था, केरल भी डूबा था। सबनेसवं ेदना पाई थी, बहुत पायी थी। सतारे, उयोगपत, नेता, ना जानेकतनेपकार और कौन कौन सेपकार। और सोशल मीडया के मायम सेसारा देश। सबनेयार दखाया, ममता दखाई और साथ भी दखाया। पर पटना! हांपटना भी तो इसी देश मह��, यहं है। कहतेहसरकार बननेका राता इसी धरती सेगजु रती है। बहार सेगजु रती है। 24 घटं े, 48 घटं े, 72 घटं े... हांतीन दन बाद देश को पता चला क यहांकुछ हुआ है। दरअसल बहुत कुछ हुआ था। तहस नहस हो चकु ा था। सब कुछ। झुगी झोपड़ी, मकान, ठेले, खोमचे, करानेक दकु ान, अडं ेसमोसेक दकु ान, मॉल के आगेमोची क दकु ान... नहंदकु ान नहंउनके उकडूबठै नेवाल दो फट क जगह, सड़क कनारे वयाथय  सेगलु जार रहनेवाल दकु ान और ना जानेया या...। बारश सब लल चकु  थी। सब डूब चकुे थे। झुगी के नौनहाल जहांनगं ेबलखातेहुए दौड़तेरहतेथेवहांपानी मतरैतेलािटक के कचर के सवा कुछ न था। नेताओंका पता नहं था, शायद वो इस सहुावनेमौसम मबहुमिं जला इमारत मपरवार के साथ पकोड़ेका आनदं लेरहेथे। मीडया वाले? वो अब भी पाकतानी धानमं ी के यएून वालेभाषण का वलेषण कर उसेतरोड़-मरोड़ के यास मथेऔर पहलेसेह कचड़ सेसनेवजीरेआजम के कुतमकोई साफ जगह ढूंढ़ रहेथेजहांऔर कचड़ लगाया जा सके। और सतारे! सतारेशायद आसमान मथेजहांके ऊं चाई सेवो बुध क धरती पर मशी छटपटाहट नहंदख रह थी। कोई नहं था। हम थे। हम सब थे। सफ हम सब थे। हमनेझले ा और हमत क। हम सबनेहमत क और लड़ने लगे। हमनेमहंु उठा कर कहंन देखा, बस हम लड़नेलगे। हम सब मलके परू हमत के साथ अपन के लए लड़नेलगे। जो भी अपयात ससं ाधन हमारेपास थेउसी को बहुत मान हम लड़नेलगे। अब तक कोई ना आया और हम जझू तेरहे, लड़तेरहे। देखए न! कुछ गायभी मर गई, हांगाय माता! फर भी ना कोई भाजपाई आया और ना ह कांेसी। गाय माता को भी न देखनेआया और न ह हम सबको। काश! देशवासय नेथोड़ी भी आह भर होती हमारेहालात पर। सची! खशु हो जातेहम सब। पर ऐसा न हुआ। हम आखं  मआसं ूलए अपन क मदद करते रहे। लड़तेरहे। पता नहं हमारेइस यारेदेश नेइतनी खाई य दखाई, इतनी सवाई य दखाई। जब केरल, महारा, असम, कनाटक, जमूमलोग आपदा के शकार होतेहतो हमारा दल भी रो उठता है, हमारा भी कलेजा नकल आता हैपर पता नहंआपलोग हमारेलए य न रोए, आप हमारेसाथ य खड़ेन हुए, य आपलोग नेथोड़ी ममता �� दखाई, य हमपराए जसै ा महससू कराया। हम जानतेहआपके पास इसका जवाब न होगा।

Ugliness:Our inner reflections

I was scrolling down my phone and subsequently went over whatsapp where there was a status update that made me sick for a second, quoting,"don't know how but ugly boys get cute girls". I felt very sad for the friend who was an engineering graduate having this kind of sensibility over facial beauty. Facial beauty or our external appearance is something that is created by God (who believes) or maybe genes and hormones are responsible for the same but we must know that ugliness lies within the beholder and is reflection of their thoughts. Every creation created by god is beautiful and we must embrace it, be it a beggar or a rickshaw puller or vegetable vendor we must not impose our own reflection over them. In my opinion ugly is the ugliest word in any vocabulary.

Guava-Ek AAMkatha

I-have-never-met-a-person-whose-favourite-fruit-is-Guava. Really. I have met a number of people and while asking what their favorite fruit is, none of them said Guava. Kids and elderly bluntly said its mango and our college goers and youth took moments to really figure it out and the answers varied among apple, cherry, grape, orange, chiku, papaya,litchi, pineapple, banana and the legendary pomegranate. Some who said papaya and banana, after 2-3 seconds, negotiated it with apple and other 'high class' fruits. Mango is mango people's fruit. It's cheap, easily available and each and every class of people buy it and eat it. In mango season you find it everywhere, be it village market, town market, city market or metro city markets. You will find it in supermarkets only in early season when it's having high price tag and so called elite class people buy it and once it get easily available and at reduced rates it disappears from supermarkets as now it has lost it's premium tag. You will never find an artist eating mango in movies or tv serials because it's like non glamorous. Now come to guava. It is considered to be dehati fruit. You won't find it at any regular fruit shop, one reason behind this is that it is seasonal fruit and is not abundant but be it any fruit, all are seasonal. Guava is also said to be kid's fruit. In villages kids climb up the tree,pluck it and eat it, no matter it is ripe or not. Tree owner scold and chase them out of thier orchard but next moment you find them over the tree searching for even one unripened guava. In cities, small vendors sell it in overhead basket or on small carts and in trains(especially local trains) usually ladies sells it in baskets. People negotiate it to lesser to lesser price; however they never bother about high price of kivi, cherry, apple, pomegranate like fruits that they buy at supermarkets. Everyone like it but they have now forget the taste of the guava. Everytime you eat it, it will remind your childhood memories. People while visiting relative's place during mango season, when offered, refuses it just because it spreads over the mouth and the juicy pulp drain off to your hands upto elbow and put you up in an awkward situation seeking help from someone to pull your shirt's sleeves up. But ultimately you can't deny the mouthwatering taste of mango later. So be it mango or our dehati guava, shout out loud that you love it; because first love is true love and in our childhood we all have grown up eating these two delicious fruits.

Malala-The hypocrite.

On the day when Kailash satyarthi an Indian child rights activist won Nobel Peace Prize, a name also made history by winning the same peace prize at a very tender age of 17, Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani girl is the youngest to receive this prestigious prize in any category. She became a star overnight. After reading her stories in newspaper and on internet I bow down my head towards this courageous girl and made cutouts from newspapers and she became my favorite poster girl. Till the day I still have a paper cut out of her image quoted with "one child one teacher one pen and one book can change the world" But from the last one month, I have gradually lost all the respect I had have for her because of her opinion and attitude towards some particular issues. Four days ago during Apple's new iPhone launch event she tweeted comparing the camera setup which was very much similar to the design on her Kurti. The girl who fought with the Taliban, from shot on head to won a nobel prize. Malala now barely speaks about Taliban and child rights in Pakistan. She has came a long way to persue a better life, of course nobel has made her life more lavish that she now finds it funny to made statements on mobile phone launch. Now come to main issue, India abrogated article 370 in attempt to make Kashmir less vulnerable to unrestness and to boost up the development To effective implementation of the abrogation Government of India deployed large number of troops and precautionary bans imposed in the valley, the positive outcome of these precautionary steps result in almost no civil casualties and terrorist related affairs except the protests by angry local residents. But Malala stand on this India's internal issue seems to be politically motivated. Three days after the abrogation she released a statement in which she urged international community to raise concern on Indian Government's decision. She made other statements and appealed to UN and UNGA members to intervene. Pakistan is an islamic country but a number of population of different religions including Hindu, Sikh and Christian also reside there and are permanent resident of Pakistan, and we often see news of violence like rape, abduction, murder, religious conversion and forceful marriage against these minorities by muslim community. And our Nobel laureate never spoke a single word on this issue. Baloochistan that shares boundary with Afghanistan and is largest province of Pakistan is fighting for freedom since decades has devastating human right violations. BHRO report says as much as 100 people were judicially executed and more than 400 are having no traces in the month of October 2017. Malala said nothing. Terrorism is on the rise in Pakistan and commoners suffer, ladies suffer, kids suffer but Malala said nothing. The so called social activist Malala has never raised any concerns over these human right violation in POK, Baloochistan, Waziristan. She has never made any comments on pathetic condition of women of islamic countries that simply signifies that she is much influenced to islamist ideology rather than humanity. Dear Malala you are ideal to millions of growing and coming generation. You are given the Nobel for your significant contribution to the society and we respect your extreme courage. If you care about our Kashmiri why don't you bother about your indigenous Kashmiri who have lost their own home, own land in POK. Why don't you bother about your Pakistani brothers and sisters who need more of your concern. Let our Kashmir go through the transition. Hope you grow up soon.
