Movie - I Come With The Rain

A psychologically disturbed ex-cop turned private detective Kline (Josh Hartnett) travels to Hong Kong in search of Shitao (Kimura Takuya), the only son of a powerful pharmaceutical conglomerate boss, who went missing in the Philippines while helping out in an orphanage. Kline finds a faint trail left by the ethereal Shitao, who was supposed to have been killed 7 months ago. The path leads to local gangster Su Dongpo (Lee Byung Hoon) who was also searching for Shitao, in hopes to find his beautiful, drug addicted girlfriend Lili (Fanny Lee).

**The movie is quite disturbing, definitely not for the faint of heart. But it has lots and lots of whump, all surrounding Kimura Takuya. I don't think there's any scene in the movie where he isn't covered in blood or in excruciating pain.**

J Drama - Gift

Not really a whump but I couldn't resist the temptation of his long wavy hair falling on his shoulders and *his* appeal. He looks like Japanese Dorian Gray and Manga accurate Amemiya Rin from one of my favourite Manga Yasha.

Yukio (Kimura Takuya) enjoys life after losing his memories! He's definitely serving.

JDrama - Gift

Naomi (Muroi Shigeru), a middle-aged woman planned to escape the country with her boyfriend and 50 billion yen. When she gets to the house, there is no boyfriend, no money but a trail of blood leading to a closet. Opening the closet causes this nude young man (Kimura Takuya) covered in blood falling out. She gets him into a hospital to revive him in hopes he can tell her where the boyfriend and the money went, but the guy from the closet has lost his memory. She gives him a new identity, calling him Yukio and keeping track of him. Yukio slowly discovers the painful past of who he was and what has led him to the man he is now.

K Movie - Bad Guys Always Die

Four Chinese friends Quianzi (Chen Bo Lin), his younger brother Pa-pa (Yang Xu Wen), and his friends San Er (Qiao Zhen Yu) and Datou (Ding Wen Bo) on a trip to Jeju Island stop to help a young woman (Son Ye Jin) at the scene of a car accident, unbeknownst to them the person they saved is an assassin but that’s only the beginning of their troubles as their vacation turns into a crazy adventure when Quianzi and his brother get kidnapped by her.

*The movie is full of whumpy scenes. Delighted to see Chen Bo Lin tied up from the start till the 3/4th of the movie.*

Yi Chan doesn't recognize him and is infatuated with a cellist, Se Kyeong (Seol In Ah), not Eun Gyeol's mother, Cheong Ah (Shin Eun Soo). To set things right, Eun Gyeol joins a band led by Yi Chan, hoping to reunite his future parents and return to the present.

Han Yeong Su (Bae Doona) is a loving mother with a special ability, Baek Cheol Hui (Ryu Seung Beom) is a father he has a timid personality, Baek Gang Seong (Baek Yoon Shik) is a grandfather who cares for his family a lot. Baek Ji Hun (Lomon) & Baek Ji U (Lee Su Hyun) are 17-year-old siblings. Ji Hun has a warm and gentle personality, while Ji U is picky and sensitive.

Reed Garrett (Kyle Gallner) becomes interested in journalism, while trying to follow a case concerning a serial killer who uses a taxicab as the murder weapon, he unknowingly gets into the killer's cab, but the driver does not kill him and instead gives him information on the "Cabbie Killer" to post on his blog. When the killer realises the reach of Reed's blog, he kidnaps Reed to use hin to get his message across to the public.

Mikio (Ikuta Toma) was struggling with debts and was trying to commit suicide by jumping off a building. However, just as he was about to jump off the roof, he was caught in a net and ordered by Kamiya (Ryo) to carry out dangerous tasks under the "Suicide Recycle Law." Kamiya and his team re-use the lives of those who have committed suicide and are willing to die, and carry out activities such as "organ donation" and "clinical trials of drugs with serious side effects."

Chasuke (Matsuyama Kenichi) an angel in charge of making tea in heaven, develops feelings for a mute woman named Yuri (Ohno Ito) whom he has seen from a writer who is scripting her life from heaven. He decides to descend from heaven to save Yuri who is condemned to die in a car accident and gets shunned on earth without wings as a fallen angel after being abandoned by the heaven.

One of the best fantasy movie depicting an Angel on earth and the life of people in the hand of scriptwriters in heaven. How to outrun your destiny!!!!

Seo Ho Su (Choi Hyun Wook) is a 3rd year student at the best private school in South Korea. His mother is battling cancer, while his father disappeared a long time ago. Despite his personal problems, he tries to focus only on his studies, but often becomes a victim of bullying by his rich classmates. Soon he finds himself attempting to get out of the quicksand caused by a dangerous and harmful cookie that makes people's wishes into reality with just one bite.

I have always been in love with the book written by Oscar Wilde, however the movie was on another level.

JMovie - Diner

Kaneko Oba (Tamashiro Tina) uses a mysterious site to apply for a job in a restaurant run by Bombero (Tatsuya Fujiwara) who used to be the professional killer. The restaurant is a membership only and their customers are all contract killers.

This is the weirdest movie I've ever watched. Plus the bonus was the *Oguri Shun Cameo*.
