“You’re putting too much faith in me, but thanks.” She let out a sharp huff, a grin settling over her lips as they moved towards the main street, where Molly leaned forward on her toes, hand out as she attempted to hail a cab. Apparently, they were hungry for faires, as it only took a moment for a cab to pull over, Molly sliding in and offering forth her address. Looking back to Sherlock, she stared sober at him for a moment. “You sure you’re okay?”

My character is being kept on suicide watch at a psych ward. Send me ✃ for their response to your character visiting them.
Sherlock didn’t need to turn around to know who it was. Of course, the person who’d likely to visit him will be the person who saw him bleeding on the bathroom in his flat in Baker Street.
"I do not wish to entertain any visitors. Not even John, nor you." Looking up at him, his eyes radiated coldness. "Why are you here?"

It was hard for anyone to get over Sherlock Holmes. Perhaps he was a deity that entranced everyone and pulled them in. Maybe he knew what allure he had and avoided relationships due to it. Her thoughts were out of hand as she peered back to the professor, almost deity-like himself. “Well, he’s a lot better than his brother, I’d have to say. At least Sherlock understands that he has to offer something in return and can’t use my family against me and to threaten me.” She paused, regretting her sudden spew of emotion. “But I’m sure he is.”
+1 Molly Hooper
Maybe he wasn’t completely over Sherlock Holmes. It was hard to. He didn’t mind, though, not completely. Frankly, he was happy being a professor and having the knowledge that Sherlock was safe, happy, and with a few friends in the world. “Perhaps a little,” Victor agreed with a small chuckle running his hand through his hair and taking a deep sigh to steady himself. “He’s always had that. Probably because his brother’s got the same thing, honestly. But he really is … sweet. And down-to-earth. When he’s in a romantic context.”

“That’s understandable.” Was her only quiet reply, not really thinking of anything else she could say to that. He was obviously trying to cover his lack of knowledge on the subject, however she wasn’t quite worried about it. It was literally understandable. If you don’t use the object, you’re not going to know how it works. That’s how Molly completely ignored the mechanical lift in the morgue for the better part of her first two months there, a bit upset that she had to do so much heavy lifting. However, the fallout of her compliment was almost tangible as he blatantly moved to avoid her after what she had done. Biting back the string of apologies that were forming under her tongue, she merely held quiet only letting out a small “Yeah-”, not wanting to mess anything else up. But Christ- he’d invited her over and she just had to do that... She moved too fast, she broke the boundaries. Molly ruined things once again. The negative self talk spiraled in her head, her measured breaths keeping her grounded as she minutely pulled back away from him. She allowed the sound of the first trailer on the disk to snap her out of whatever fog had clouded her vision. As she unclenched her hands, she didn’t quite think as she leaned to the side, hand on sofa, her shoulder bumping his. “Oh, I- sorry.”

"Don't worry too much, okay? You're going to be a wonderful groom. Going to look as handsome as ever in your tux, we'll have my niece as a flower girl. It'll be perfect."
"Well I’m not allowed to see you in your dress so I assume you can pick something that suits you perfectly. But… I’ll try better. I promise."

Her smile grew softer as he spoke. This is where it came from. It seemed a lot like undying loyalty to her. She'd be surprised if Victor had fully moved on. Sherlock was a hard case to get over, but people could do it. Molly did it. A short laugh burst through her lips- "Well, You're not wrong. If I was a dermatologist, I'd be a bit off of the acceptable end." She watched him, only nodding gently in response. After a few moments, she shrugged. "Well, I wouldn't bet on him believing himself mortal now so... He still as the 'deity' air about him."

"Well, we used to be. Used to date, way back in University, and I just got in the habit of apologising for him," Victor admitted with an awkward laugh, pushing his hand through his hair. It was ages ago, too long to really matter anymore - but yet, it seemed to. It some weird way. "Oh, no, you’re not weird … at least, not any more than someone willing to work with dead bodies all day is expected to be." At least she was smiling. Not too unnerved by him, good. "He’s — yeah, he wasn’t that cruel in University. He was convinced that if he just showed people, they’d all support him. Like he’d be their god or something. Idiot.”

"I'm flattered, but we both know I'm not always the best at picking out everything. I've been harassed for my clothes a few times before so... any input is good input."
"But the things you want are perfect, love."

Molly's eyes lingered on the camera before she smiled in return, nodding gently. "Oh yeah, when I was younger I thought myself a photographer, though I really don't have the eye for it, but I thought it was the best and would constantly harass my siblings with puns. It's all I'm good at. I'm Molly, by the way."
"You have no idea how much crop I deal with.” Kayla burst out into laughter as she pulled her camera away from her face, a large grin on her face. “It’s nice to know someone else appreciates camera puns as much as I do.”

There was just this urge to reach over and grasp the remote from him to expedite the process, but with what she knew, she didn't want to push too much. Molly knew people didn't quite care for parts of her personality, so she tried to remain reserved and not bother people. Her idle hands were anything but, and she moved to tuck her hair behind her ears to keep them from doing anything she'd regret. But at his request, a smile pushed across her lips and she nodded happily, receiving the remote. "Don't worry about it too much," she spoke, locating the 'input' button with ease and switching the machines. "I once manually switched input on a TV for three months because I couldn't figure out how to use the remote. It's not a terribly uncommon event." She shrugged before returning the remote but not before offering- "If you'd like me to show you anything, let me know. All remotes are different now-a-days anyway."
Relaxing back, she touched a light hand to his shoulder, her own way of reassuring that the situation was still fine. Molly was always somewhat of a physical person. If she could touch, cuddle, hug- she would. It made her comfortable and meant she was comfortable with them to begin with. With a small smile, she interjected "You're cute, you know that?" before leaning forward to place a kiss on his cheek. "Just thought I should- you know- speak my mind."

She pulled her arms back to her side, shrugging slightly before continuing on. As she had thought- not a big surprise. Sherlock would always be Sherlock, not matter what specifics may change. "Let's just hope I don't muck it up too much, yeah?"
