Hey! I have asked another blog this, but I haven't heard back. Basically, Brendon's past wrongdoings made a horrible wall between me and the music I used to love. Whenever I listen I think of his ableist comments, or his rape/sexist/homophobic/transphobic jokes. I mentioned that I wish he would just apologise for this stuff and acknowledge he was wrong and someone replied saying he did and I could search for proof. I've been searching but I can't find anything. Could you link me to some proof?
Just gonna answer this before I log off but I have seen him apologize a few times for some of his comments, although I don’t remember if it was during live streams, on twitter, etc, so I can’t really link you to anything other than this (taken off of google, don’t know who got the screenshot, take it with a grain of salt bc of how often fans photoshop tweets of his). If anyone else can provide links and all that, that’d be great.
However, I think it’s important to realize that actions speak louder than words in a lot of situations. We’ve all made shitty comments before and I think majority of us never publicly apologized but rather, we grew and realized that it wasn’t okay, and changed our way of both thinking and speaking. I’d assume it’s the same for Brendon because as far as I can tell, he’s been taught better and is no longer making the jokes he used to.
As much as I’d love to say this growing up of his is written down in tweets and all that, I can’t. I know how important it is for a celebrity to apologize considering the platform they have but that’s not always going to happen and sometimes you have to decide for yourself if you think they’ve learned anything from their mistakes.
#he's said fucked up things and i wish i could i provide tweet after tweet of him apologizing#but it is possible to learn from your mistakes quietly#and i can only hope he's done such#edit: it's also important to realize that not every apology is genuine#that doesn't mean all celebrities say sorry and don't mean it#it just means you're gonna say something after pressure of upset fans#and it may be to get them to stop

Feel like it’s worth mentioning despite how it’s been a couple months but I’m no longer active on here, my personal, or really anywhere on tumblr anymore, meaning patd-online is defunct pretty much. My other social media is either for role play or family, however if any of you need to get into contact w me for some reason, I am willing to give out my Discord.
It’s been real, y’all. Thank you for your support <3 <3 <3

“Mansoup is, uh… All right. Well, what happened was, we got signed and Pete asked me to be on Fall Out Boy’s album, he asked me to sing a part on one of their songs. So we visited them in LA, while they were recording at the time, and we stayed at their apartment, and they had a hot tub. So basically what mansoup is, is, uh… All the dudes are, you know, practically naked, pretty much in their underwear, and it’s pretty much just like five or six dudes, in a hot tub, naked together. That’s mansoup.”
