With the Jenna situation going on, it should be a great reminder that no one HAS to accept an apology especially when nothing is done afterwards to show true growth. Not a single POC has to welcome her back with open arms. 

When yt folks who post about BLM are accepting her apology that is not their’s to accept and attacking POC for holding their favorite white woman accountable, you are not a true ally. When you’re going off on tangents to make everyone else look evil for pointing out racism that was out there publicly at one point, you are not an ally. 

You’re not an ally if you’re being a hypocrite by acknowledging that racism is ingrained and then get mad when people point out how ingrained it is.

Open garage door

I very much like the paintable garage doors that came with city life. I needed an open version for Pippa’s new workshop so I made one. Its an arch so it doesn’t close and it certainly isn’t paintable but it is base game. i hope you like it as much as I do.

This is the most complex mesh I’ve made so far, but I saw an apothecary cabinet like this on Pinterest and I NEEDED IT. Just because EA haven’t given us witches (yet *fingers crossed*) doesn’t mean I can’t fill all my builds with witchy clutter. And I completely fell in love with those little doors. Just look at them.

It’s base game compatible, and comes in a variety of suitably dark maxis match swatches. It’s got slots all over the place, even behind the little open doors, so I went a bit overboard on the set dressing for this preview (I’ve never seen a tidy apothecary so that’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it). It’s a completely new mesh made from scratch with a combination of EA wood and hand painting for the textures.

It’s sliiiightly higher poly than I would have liked, but not too bad for a cabinet considering how many nooks and crannies it has. 

Please let me know if you have any issues! Meshing still feels very new to me, so I need to know if I’m doing anything wrong :o
