Some thoughts and headcanons about Chilchuck's wife

In my opinion, she is far from what Marcille wants to see in the story. Marcille, guessing about the reasons for Chilchuck's wife departure from him, looks at the situation through the prism of her own perception and puts herself in her place (and surprisingly collects bingo), but Marcille comes up with many moments about.

Marceille thinks up based on how Chilchuck treats her and what he thinks of her. Chilchuck's wife in the story gets the image of an easy, open, slightly absent-minded and in her own way innocent girl. Which is what a teenager Marcille is, but not an adult married woman.

Chilwife was about 25 years old when she left home with her grown daughters (the twins were at the age when Chilchuck and his wife were already planning a family). She was as tired as Chilchuck, and by leaving she did not seek to 'test his feelings', she wanted to free herself from the constant worry that one day her husband would be brought in a sack in pieces. But Chilwife is not the type of person who sighs languidly at the window (I think Chilchuck would not fall in love with such a person) — she is a lively, businesslike and self-sufficient lady, whose character was adopted by Fleurtom and Puckpatty, possessing a flexible mind (which, however, does not save her from making mistakes).

She oozes strong feminine energy, knows about her dignity and beauty, and this plants a seed of jealousy in Chilchuck's mind. He can't be with her all the time because of work, but he can't allow other men to have the same feelings for her. Then this same jealousy, which has become paternal, passes on to adult daughters.

Chilwife may regret her teenage marriage and early sexual activity (which could certainly have affected her health), but she certainly doesn't regret having Chilchuck as her life partner and becoming the mother of three beautiful, equally smart and strong-willed girls. It's just that at some point, both she and Chilchuck needed a break.
