Oh good god it's gotten worse
Okay, so I just saw a tiktok saying "hey, ao3 is not tiktok. Do not censor words, especially in the tags." I stg people are losing brain cells. The tiktoker then proceeded to show an example of the tag they saw which was:
"s..cidal ideation"
I don't know who needs to, once again, hear this, but you are stopping the tagging system, and filtration system from working.
People censor words on platforms like tiktok to stop the algorithm from picking up their video and automatically taking it down or restricting it.
A tagging system works so that other people can easily filter the content they do and don't want to see. So if some had "suicidal ideation" in their filtered tags so that they won't see things containing that subject matter, by censoring the word suicidal, you have now stopped the tagging/filtration system from working and now the individual is going to see content that they had made sure to filter out.
Please stop censoring words and/or phrases. Especially in tags. You are literally stopping the system from working and doing its job. Ao3 (and Tumblr) is not tiktok. The tags are there for a reason. Don't censor them.

So uhh when is season 3 coming out?
From what I heard, it is already out in some parts of the world. I heard that 26 episodes with Russian dub are on youtube, and many months ago I was told a bunch of episodes in English are on vimeo (or was it Dailymotion?). As for a Netflix release, I have no idea! Gotta be patient.

Are you still active? It's just that I just found this blog along others and feel like I finally found a hidden treasure lol, but it seems like the big majority are partially abandoned.
Hi and thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately this blog is currently quite low on my priority list. However, I'm planning to come back after I finally watch Season 3!
Until then, why don't you check all the blogs I've been reblogging from? They have tons of cool content!

Ooo I had no idea! Thanks for sharing! Gotta watch the trailer really soon, for now I have already some thoughts about these screencaps:
Somehow, at first sight I thought Duke is holding one of Selly's nano-bombs from Season 1... Considering that she doesn't have arms in S2, maybe she will finally be allowed to transform in S3? (haha not likely)
Train X looks unusually sinister here! And these red light effects remind me of the virus. Could he get infected somehow???
If there is a water symbol, maybe there is also a wind, light, and fire symbol somewhere and the Rail Watch is on a quest to find them all? That would be fun!
And the little Kay makes it look like the series goes more science fantasy and cartoony than ever...
Alright, so we have the trailer to Season 3 of Robot Trains (finally!) and I felt like trying to interpret some stuff from it cus why not.
So the setting is basically the same as before. Elemental lands, energy balls etc. No characters were added from what I remember. There was going to be a Silver Railwatch, but they aren't anywhere in the trailer. Maybe they will appear later.
Anyway, one thing I noticed that's new is this new energy balls type? That purple thing Duke is holding. It was mentioned somewhere that Train X will use some sort of destructive "shadow energy" as a weapon, so maybe this what the energy will look like?
Tumblr media
Speaking of which, in the trailer we can see Train X working on some sort of new device. Maybe it has something to do with the shadow energy.
Tumblr media
Aaand another interesting thing. See, at some point there is a clip of the Railwatch standing in front of some sort of opening doors with a water symbol on them? I thought it might have something to do with the Silver Railwatch.
Tumblr media
Yeah, I just wanted to talk about some cool stuff I found.
Also offtopic, but what is this

Reblogging an update on the whole postplus situation - now there is a blog where we can suggest how to support the hellsite!
More opinions! Tiny Hats! Suggestions! Hellfire Features!
Hello! It’s us again! That feedback we mentioned before? It’s been a journey. It really has. Here’s a word cloud of feedback we’ve received so far.
Tumblr media
Okay, it’s more of a sentence cloud. Made of your very own sentences. It’s not really scientific because we picked ‘em, but these are some of the highlights so far. Some of your suggestions that are currently living in our heads rent-free are:
Post pins! Account badges!
Ad-free premium dashboards!
Tip jar!
Reblog & reply settings on individual posts!
And glitter turds. Yeah, we’re taking those turds very seriously.
Have something to add? A mock-up of a feature you’d like to see? We want to keep hearing from you, our bluespace citizens. This is your main-character moment.
So, Submit / Ask away (and by ask, we mean use the ask box. You can also write to us in sentences, obviously. Or send us drawings and diagrams. We like those, too).

if u think the monetization is bad wait until you hear about the profit cuts (from the verge article): "Tumblr will take a 5 percent fee from subscriptions, which is competitive compared to Substack’s 10 percent cut. If readers subscribe on iOS or Android, though, those platforms’ 30 percent app store fees will come out of what a creator gets to keep."
Patreon only takes 10-15% and they have an almost overwhelming cadre of tools for administration, tiered subs, and managing tax information. You can even use Patreon off Tumblr.
As a creator well aquatinted with the platform, I can't see any reason to use tumblrs monetization service.

Yes! Meanwhile Gary will laugh at everyone who doesn’t know as much as he. Which is basically every other character because they are all younger than him.
Oh my god, it's so sweet that Train X doesn't yell at Duke, Mos and Dos or insult them. Even when they are wrong about something, he just calmly explains everything to them

I drew Kay from Robot Trains and this is probably the hardest drawing I have ever done.
He looks clueless, which I intended and I also wanted to make it look like it's night time. It would not take that long if I did not added a background.
Now I broke my record of drawing time since this took 6 hours and 31 minutes ;_;.

Train X and Gary worked together in the past to create Dolo.
He studied under a great scientist, Master Train Zero.
Train X never transforms in the show, instead he travels in a big menacing vehicle. We only know his alt form from concept art.
Master X is not evil! He helps other trains in need and doesn’t want anything in return (see: Johnny, Duke, Mos and Dos).
In one episode Train X tries to steal the energy balls with his vehicle, and although he is easily visible driving it, nobody even acknowledges his presence... they treat the vehicle like a monster. So I believe no one (other than Duke, Mos, Dos and Gary) is aware of his presence in the Rail World. Not even when he is standing right before their very eyes.
By the way, I need to clarify something. What is generally known about Train X? Does any of the others know him (well, except for Duke, Mos and Dos)? Is there something about his past?

You did it! Cool!
...and I just wanted to add that all Fountain Plaza trains are designed like Robot Trains (they have visible legs), sorry I'm late 😂
I already finished the RT iceberg! Tried to find some more obscure stuff.

One question: what is iceberg?
As for trivia, as @sellyripley noticed, there is Jeffrey’s cargo in the junkyard in Season 2.
Also a storyboard/animatic from Season 1 (again kudos to @sellyripley for finding and sharing it) shows that Jeffrey was actually using his clapperboard to activate his power (complete with shouting “cut!”), which explains his film director aesthetic.
Questions for the Robot Trains fandom, does anyone know aby interesting trivia about the series? I wanted to make a Robot Trains iceberg, and I already what kinda stuff I can put here, but I just wanted to know you guys' ideas!
