ہم بھی مجرم کی طرح خاموش ہیں یاروں کے بیچ

کیا کہیں کس نے بہاروں کو خزاں ساماں کیا

دیکھنے میں تو سبھی گل پوش ہیں یاروں کے بیچ

یہ بھی سچ ہے گھر کے بھیدی نے کیا گھر کو تباہ

یہ بھی لگتا ہے کہ سب نردوش ہیں یاروں کے بیچ

کیا پتہ کب خون کا پیاسا یہاں ہو جائے کون

یوں تو کہنے کو سبھی مے نوش ہیں یاروں کے بیچ

ہاں چلا اب ساقیا جادو بھری نظروں کے تیر

ہم بھی دیکھیں کس قدر ذی ہوش ہیں یاروں کے بیچ

بزم یاراں ہے یہ ساقی مے نہیں تو غم نہ کر

کتنے ہیں جو مے کدہ بر دوش ہیں یاروں کے بیچ

طرزؔ پڑھتا ہے کوئی جب جھوم کر نظم و غزل

ایسا لگتا ہے فراقؔ و جوشؔ ہیں یاروں کے بیچ

The origins of wrongdoing are three: 1. Arrogance: It is that which drove Iblees to that which it drove him (i.e. to commit that which Iblees committed). 2. Desire: It is that which caused Aadam to be expelled from the Paradise. 3. Jealousy: It is that which caused one of the sons of Aadam to transgress against his brother. Therefore, whoever is protected from the evil of these three (traits) then indeed he has been protected from evil. For disbelief is from - arrogance; - from desires; and - transgression and - oppression from jealousy.
