“Garlic bread? Are you trying to kill me?!”

“Looks like you’re new. Let me show you the ropes.”

“It’s best if you don’t know too much about me.”

“Quit quoting twilight.”

“Trust me. I know what I’m doing. I’ve done this crap for five centuries now.”

“Wait, you didn’t know I was a vampire?”

“Not all vampires are unable to eat garlic! Dracula just had an allergy and suddenly everyone thinks we all despise it!”

“Okay but the fangs are kinda hot.”

“Wait why are you just standing there? You can come in, you know.”

“I’m sorry but your license expired fifty years ago…? Wait what? There’s no way- this has to be fake. You look exactly the same.”

“Just go look in the m- oh wait, right. I’m so sorry.”

“Wait, you’re a vampire?! How? You literally faint at the sight of blood!”

“I don’t care what you are, you’re still you and I love you.”

“That explains why your feet are always so damn cold when we share a bed!”

“I like our nightly beach dates. I never have to worry about getting sun burnt myself~”

“Woah what happened to you?!”

She took the empty seat next to Cecilia as the ball dancing continued around them. "It's alright, I'm not fond of dancing myself. Or rather talking to anyone." -- Sophia to Cece

Cecilia looked on at the others dancing, watching Lizzie so happily speak with others as she chose to stay behind. Cecilia did like balls, the glamorous dresses and beautiful music in the air, but talking was the one part she can't help but feel almost afraid to.

She knows she still stutters, an instinct from the horrors of three years ago, and she knows people utter whispers about her to the point where she's learned to be a wallflower rather than bring shame to her brother and fiance.

"I-I...I ha-have a...s-sp-speech...um...i-is-i-issue." She finds her shoulders tensing a little, but giving a shy smile to Sophia. "I-I pr-p-promise I-I'm t-ta-t-taking le-lessons f-for it!"

"Jasper...That's what my family calls me, it's just a silly nickname, but..." It sounded a lot cooler than silly Jacob to him, maybe less like an old man given how long he's been a vampire for. "I just transferred from the States with my sister, we...move a lot." Mainly to hide their identity from humans.

' It's alright really...' She said not meaning to sound rude, It was just her basic personality, he seemed sweet enough to her. ' I never seen you before, what's your name? '

"What do you mean there's another anemo vision user who can make a shield! I thought I made myself a special technique!"

"Um...Well...Me?" He nervously gripped at his own arm, blue eyes blinking before sitting next to Ruka. "S-Sorry, I...I couldn't find another seat..." It only makes him feel more meek as he sits next to her, wondering to himself if he's too close.

'...Depends on who wants to sit down.' Ruka said in her usual blunt and bored tone, finishing off her drink she closed her eyes. Glancing her own eyes towards the guy, she hummed softly. ' No It's not taken...' She said turning to sip at her drink once more.

That was incredible to the red head! It makes his ruby eyes sparkle, soon copying what he saw to sit right behind her on the bike. "Ah, luckily I wear helmets all the time already." He teases, putting it on. He has to admit, it's a little harder than the one he wears normally. While his General may wear the mask of a hound, Haider wore one of a lion when he was back in Sumeru.

"Look at that, beautiful and looks out for me!" He teases, finding her body warm as cheeks begin to turn a soft pink. did his face feel warm because she felt warm or...because he realized how close he was to her like this?

She chuckled. ' I do It's much faster then horses, and I can even use it to rev it up the side of mountains and fly.' She swung her leg over the bite onto the other side, leaning forward her hands on the handles she offered him a helmet. ' Here, wear this It's to protect the handsome face of yours.' She smiled as she revved up her flame cycle sitting herself up as she waited for the other to climb onto it behind her, her hand moving through her flame like hair.

"Haida! Where did you want to go again? I think we're lost..." -- Sophia to Haider

"I was trying to get to this bridge here." He points to the London bridge on the map, before scratching his head. "Gah! Did it fall down already? I can't make sense of this map, hell, I can hardly read it!" Even if he was fluent in English, reading it felt like a whole different animal to him.

"Can you read this for me? Here I am supposed to be your guide and bodyguard and I can't even read a damn foreign map!"

"Hi there, I'm Miyahira-- Miyoko's little sister, it's so nice to finally meet you Victoria! I'm sorry to tell you though, Yokko is out at the moment but if you wanted to come in please do!" She opened the door to their home wide open for her sister's girlfriend. -- Miyahira

"Ah, it's so nice to meet Miyoko's family! Here I thought I'd be the only one showing off my siblings." Victoria gave out a cheerful laugh, giving her a hug already, practically viewing her as family already just for being her girlfriend's sister.

Stepping right in with a grin on her face, not realizing her fangs were on full display, her sapphire eyes gave quite the sparkle as she was excited to get to know her.

"You know what? Next time, I should totally bring my brothers and sisters here too, like one big meet up!"

"R-Really!? Haha, h-how lovely!" She clapped her hands together, her big blue eyes sparkling to see someone else who shared her name. "Y-You ca-can c-c-call me C-Cece then! My be-best friend L-L-Lizzie ca-calls me that t-too!"

"I'm up for it! I live in Sumeru, climbing and steep areas are normal for me." Minus the vines to help and minus the rain to make climbing a complete pain. "Agreed! It's not every day I get to enjoy myself with a beautiful woman, especially one so fire-y." He teases, until his red eyes widen at the sight of her motorcycle.

"Wow! What...What is this? It looks like the technology the scholars talk about in the Desert..." He speaks as though his darker skin wasn't an indicator he was born and raised within the desert. He tilts his head when he runs his hand over the seat. "So...You ride this thing like a horse?"

' Well I have been been to sumeru once or twice, but if you are more curious about Natlan, It's quite a travel if you are up for it I mean.' She said her hand moving onto her waistline. Her eyes couldn't really not wander over his exposed chest and everything else. ' Well, let's go meet this beautiful local and see where she can point us for food, I am starving.' She said summoning her motorcycle, placing her glasses over her eyes. ' Care for a ride handsome? '

"Still, my luck must be insane if I managed to meet someone so important on my first day." Either that, or maybe a test from something higher than the archons?

"You can if you want, but it's pretty rare to meet someone who doesn't call me 'Captain Haider'." A hand was on his hip, toned bare chested as gold jewelry and a teal scarf with his vision was the only thing covering up at least some parts of his chest.

"Definitely looks like the same boat, but silver linings, I did meet a beautiful local who knows this place like the back of her hand." He teases, giving a grin to her. "Since we're in the same boat, you could take me to your favorite spots! It's better than listening to someone probably trying to scam me at the Stadium."

' Please no need for the whole special treatment, right now I am just Mavuika not the archon, I am only the archon in my land.' She chuckled abit bashfully if she was being honest. ' Well, I have no choice in that matter as my friends want me to take a breather, for 500 years I've been nothing but working and looking after Natlan, which is my duty.' She chuckled her arms crossing over her chest, nodding her head as he greeted his name. ' Haider...good to meet you, should I call you captain? and oh, the same boat hm? '

"Eh, what can I say? I call it like I see it." He smirks, although quickly steps forward to help keep her balance to prevent her from falling over. "Yep! You're looking at Captain H-Wait WHAT?" Suddenly, Haider's cherry eyes widened before he clears his throat to calm down.

He'll have to hope archons don't talk to each other and that he wasn't complicit in Nahida's imprisonment and even guarded her 'cage' several times.

"S-Sorry! Just didn't think I'd run into an archon! Guess that's a nation with one who moves about so freely, yeah?" He laughs nervously, trying to play off like he didn't know about his own archon's imprisonment. "I'm Captain Haider of the Mahamatra! I'm normally in the Akademia with my General, but, apparently I was ordered a vacation so..."

'...A flatterer even in battle...attractive.' She smiled getting to her feet, softly groaning and suddenly feeling dizzy but she regain her composure, looking at the bodies of the unconscious thugs she looked towards the man who managed to save her life. ' ah so you are from Sumeru? that would explain the noble save, my name is Mavuika, I am the current fire archon of Natlan.'
