The Parksbang - Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Big Bang?

A big bang is a fandom event where writers will come in and write a fic, at least around 10k words for this one. Then, artists will come in and ‘claim’ a fic based on their summaries, where they will then create an art piece based on that fic!

What are the Requirements?

All fanfics are required to be at least 10k words long. There is no maximum and you are free to go as far as you want!

Artists are free to do a variety of different things, not just art pieces. Gifsets, video edits, comics, etc.! If you have an idea and would like to know if it’d be allowed, just ask!

Pieces should be completed and ready by posting dates!

What versions of Parksborn are allowed?

Any and all Parksborn is allowed for this big bang! Whether you want to write for the Raimiverse, the comics, Ultimate Spider-Man or any other version of the pairing, feel free! As long as it’s Harry and Peter, you’re all set!

Do I have to join the Discord?

Nope! It is there for both easy access for me to contact everyone, as well as allowing pairings to contact one another. It is preferred, but not required.

Where are we posting?

I require at least everything to be posted here on tumblr! At least, have links that lead to finished pieces so I can reblog to this blog! There will be a collection up on Ao3 for finished fanfics (as well as any art pieces that those of you would like to post there too!)

Any other rules?

We are going to refrain from NSFW within this bang! Fanfics can go up to an M rating if so required.

Writers! Until claims are over and finished, please keep what work is yours anonymous around those who may be artists! We want to keep claims fair and unbiased!

this is honestly two years later and i am so sorry to be answering it this late!

i would LOVE to be able to host a parksbang again! I would just need the time and at least another mod to keep me on track- otherwise nothing at all will get done

if there are enough people interested, i would be willing to set one up for 2025!!!
