I remember my trip to Australia when I was in middle school. That was the last time I went on a trip. I felt the beauty of nature while looking at the scenery and the sea in Australia. The things I saw and did in Australia were good, but the best thing was that I was able to enjoy each day comfortably. Australia was definitely good, but I think the trip itself was really good. It was nice to see new things, feel refreshed while walking on the evening, stay in a hotel and feel comfortable. As it is a rare opportunity, I was grateful that I could have a memorable experience.

I think music and painting are beautiful things.

Music is a good way for us to express the feelings of others by auditoryizing them, and painting visualizes things that we don't usually see or can't see, making it not to take our eyes off the background. When these two things are combined, it becomes a work and a masterpiece (ex. movie), as giving people beauty.

We experience both light and darkness. They are both phenomena that we experience in our lives. And they affect us, whether it's on the good side or the bad side.

I don't believe in religion, but I don't think we have to deny the existence of it. We can't deny that religion has a huge impact around the world. Giving people faith is a big deal. Regardless of the type, faith is a great help to a person. We have to respect that whether people believe in religion or not. It is their choice. We don't have to force religion, we don't have to blame it, unless it's too much.

I agree with Donne. As human life is only once, it is much more valuable than we normally thought. People are the one who makes the world. When humanity disappears, all that remains is empty field. Then it can't make the world. We are alive because there is definitely something to do where we live. We need to respect and care more about life.

The most amazing meal

When I was in middle school, I went to Australia on a package trip. I ate steak every day at lunch there. I ate steak at attractions, I ate steak at the ferry, and I ate steak at a restaurant near the hotel. I'm not saying that the steak was really special, but it was very delicious maybe because I ate it locally. The steaks were all beef. These days, I've rarely eaten steak, so I think it was special when I was able to eat steak as freely as then. That was the week I ate the most steak in my life.

Art

First of all, I don't like art very much, and I don't know art has important for us, but It seems to let us see something we don't usually see. Like Degas & Shaw said, art makes others see and think about it. Art is one of the factors that can shape the person's inner side as much as possible. I still don't know art is important for us but I think it is closely related with creativity. We can hear most of our voices in writing or words, but we can also hear them in art. It's not a common way, but I think it's attractive enough for people, and it's a way to attract attention.

Changes & Growth

Since I joined the military, I have had a habit of being grateful for even the smallest things. There were a lot of things that were not a big in society, but there were a lot of things that were very precious in the military. So I was more grateful.

Changes refer to things that have changed depending on the environment, but for growth, there must be better than before. It is same that there should be changes in both of them, but there should be improvements in growth compared to before. Changes can be better things or worse things than before.

I think experience is the most important factor for growth. It is very helpful for us to grow. Experience makes us think, feel, and develop about many things.

Week 4

Both of them talk about making a decision is important to explain indecision affects bad things for us.

I think indecision has a bad effect in our lives. It makes us stop or not moving backward to do some things.

I often encounter indecision in my life. And those situations often remove my time. I often try to reduce indecision to do things.

I think this author's advice is good because when we get stuck trying to do something, we sometimes need some kinds of these advice. Listening to advice is that the person wants a change, and it pushes people forward. Doing something is generally better than doing nothing. Of course, doing some thing can not always be good for the person, but we have to do it to find whether it is good or not for us.

"Risk" & "Roll the Dice"

Both poems talk about trying something rather than doing nothing or not making any difference of our life.

2. I think it is better to take risks in life if you want to try something different than before, or it is best to play in safe if you want a safe and normal life. I think the former one is more valuable to people because to take risks is to encounter something new whether it's success or failure. We can learn something more, or it can be a good experience in our life, or it can make us grow more. Changing means not just turning the bad into the good, but also making something better than before. Playing the life safe can be realistic, but I think it makes little difference in our life.

Beauty is just one of the natural things in the world. It tells you that you don't have to think about people's appearance as better or worse than anyone else because it is nature.
