וַיִּקַּח֩ שֵׁ֨ם וָיֶ֜פֶת אֶת־הַשִּׂמְלָ֗ה וַיָּשִׂ֨ימוּ֙ עַל־שְׁכֶ֣ם שניהם וילכוּ֙ אֲחֹ֣רַנִּ֔ית וַיְכַסּ֕וּ את ערו֣ת אֲבִיה֑ם וּפְנֵיהֶם֙ אֲחֹ֣רַנִּ֔ית וְעֶרְות אֲבִיהֶ֖ם ל֥א ראֽוּ: Shem, enlisting Japheth’s help, took a garment and placed it on the shoulders of them both. They then walked backwards and covered their father’s nakedness. When they approached him and had to turn their bodies around, they did so while facing away from him, so that they did not ever see their father’s nakedness. (Breishit 9:23)

You shall not see your brother's ox or sheep straying, and ignore them. [Rather,] you shall return them to your brother. But if your brother is not near you, or if you do not know him, you shall bring it into your house, and it shall be with you until your brother seeks it out, whereupon you shall return it to him. Only, he may not acquire many horses for himself, so that he will not bring the people back to Egypt in order to acquire many horses, for the Lord said to you, "You shall not return that way any more." And the pig, because it has a split hoof, but does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. You shall neither eat of their flesh nor touch their carcass. (Devarim 14:7-8)

Then take it quickly to the congregation and atone for them, for wrath has gone forth from the Lord, and the plague has begun." Aaron took [it], just as Moses had said, and he ran into the midst of the assembly, and behold, the plague had begun among the people. He placed the incense on it and atoned for the people. (Bamidbar 17:11-12)
