Through the storm, you’ve been my calm... So many of us are experiencing anxiety, isolation, loss of work/income, worry about the health of our loved ones and the world. Yet through this all, I’ve seen first-hand such an outpouring of love and concern, generosity and support. It has definitely increased my appreciation for the things I took for granted, it has helped me work on qualities I needed to refine. It’s made me value my family and my community so much more. Children especially add to the wedding day with their antics, curiosity and authenticity. They don’t worry so much about the camera or timeline, they just embrace and live in each moment. After taking a mini social media vacay 🌴 I’m back to bringing you some radness from our awesome couples! 🤩🙌🏼 Now question for all you engaged couples 💍...when you’re planning for your engagement session, what do you think of first?... 1) Location? 2) Outfits? 3) Makeup & Hair? or 4) Photos you have envisioned ??? As a photographer, I try to identify what locations might suit my couple’s vision as well as their unique personalities. I’ll recommend outfits that will make them feel confident. And when we talk about photography, I’ll take notes on how they describe their relationship, and incorporate that expressed connection (goofy, serious, fun, romantic) into their session. So when planning your engagement session, ask yourselves- what is truly important to you and communicate that with your photographer. That will help you have an amazing experience as well as photos you cherish for years to come!
