I’m honestly tired of all the people who just say “no you don’t” and end the conversation if I say I would want periods. I seriously would. I’m missing out on essential experiences to being a girl. “But what about the pain?” I don’t care. I would trade periods of 1000 times normal strength for my current body. Why? That way, I could bear children out of my body. I could be able to have motherhood without having to rely on other girls to do it for me. I could have a child that I could breast feed, nurture, and help guide to adulthood. I would happily accept periods for that opportunity.

Sometimes the smallest, silliest things feel like huge accomplishments ✨ . One of my favorite parts of transition is experiencing the things I always envied. I had shoulder length hair as a kid, but refused to style it or do ponytails or use bobby pins. I rejected anything that would make me seem like I was doing something “feminine”… even though that’s what I really wanted. As I grew up, my hair got shorter and shorter as I repressed my feelings more and more. Now I have so many hair styles I want to try, and little things like being able to do a braid are really meaningful to me.

- i have finished 19 out of my 20 college applications fuck yes (princeton why you gotta be so difficult)

- my mom took me shopping for girl clothes which is a HUGE improvement & step in the right direction, I need a new wardrobe basically for college and so she took me black friday shopping where I got this dress & other fun stuff

- i have learned that i very much like floral shit

- school is stressful and I wanna take naps all day and not do anything

- i wanna hear back from colleges already pls

usually i go alone or just me and my mom go for gender therapy sessions, but two days ago my dad came along too, and us three + the therapist talked for a while and we all agreed that hormones would be a good idea!! probably like testosterone blockers sometime around march and estrogens sometime around june/july. i’m really excited to see change in my life finally after waiting for so long. i’m hopeful that they continue to be supportive as they have been & i’m blessed to have overall chill, loving, accepting parents
