norse mythology legacy

it’s a legacy challenge i made in honor of my obsession with norse deities (maybe one day i’ll make someyhing like that with other cultures i dunno)

i don’t really have rules about cheats and stuff. feel free to do whatever you want. in the end we are all here to have some fun.                     generation rules

            gen. 1      Freyja

Freyja is known as the Goddess of love, sex, lust, beauty, sorcery, fertility, gold, war and death.she is incredibly beautiful and has many admirers, not just among the Gods and Goddesses but also among the dwarves and giants. She loves jewelry and she has often used her beauty to get the things she desires.

traits: romantic,  self-absorbed,  materialistic

aspiration:  fabulously wealthy

have at least 4 gf/bf while young adult

join and max fashion career

engage and have a baby with your partner

understand that you don’t want to marry them

go for the dates at least once a week

           gen. 2     Forseti

Forseti often acts as a judge, to decide the outcome of a dispute among the Gods and Goddesses in Asgard, to make the fairest judgment. he also loves to spend his spare time with the practice of meditation to keep a peaceful mind, a skill he is quite good at.

traits:  perfectionist, good, snob

aspiration:  renaissance sim

join and max detective career

meditate for 3 hours each week

adopt 3 children (don’t have your own)

max wellness skill

be enemies with a sim in criminal career

            gen. 3   Sigyn

Sigyn is a goddess of fidelity. after her husband, Loki had done one trick too many towards the Gods and Goddesses, Loki was bound in a cave with a poisonous serpent over his head. Sigyn who loves Loki more than anything decided to stay with him all day and night, with a bowl in her hands. traits:  family-oriented,  art lover,  gloomy

aspiration: soulmate

marry your childhood friend

gain money only by gardening, collecting things ect.

max parenting skill

have twins with your partner

full the house with photos and paintings of your family

            gen. 4    Idunn

Idunn the goddess of spring or rejuvenation.  She was the keeper of the magic apples of immortality, which the gods must eat to preserve their youth.

traits: cheerfull, vegetarian, outgoing

aspiration:  outdoor enthusiast

join and max gardener career

max flower arranging skill

sell fruits and vegetables from your garden on festivals

try to have as many friends as you can

adopt a cat

           gen. 5    Loki

Loki is a Norse god of mischief, fire and fatherhood. Loki is portrayed as a scheming coward who cares only for shallow pleasures and self-preservation. he’s by turns playful, malicious, and helpful, but he’s always irreverent and nihilistic.

traits: goofball, mean, noncommittial

aspiration:  party animal

have at least 5 enemies

have a baby with your gf/bf and broke up with them

have 2 children with a sim you’ll marry and again broke up with them

have twins in your second marrige

max mischief skill

Colors of Nature Legacy Challenge

I’ve always loved the concept of color-themed legacies but have yet to find one that I really like, so I decided to make my own! The concept is simple: each generation is based on a color named after something nature-y and its color-corresponding traits. At the moment it’s only eight generations because I wanted to leave room for additional content that’s added to the game in the future. I hope you all have fun, and I look forward to seeing your gameplay!

Basic Rules:

each generation should represent the color they’re based on

(this is optional but fun! this challenge can be played with vanilla, banilla, or berry sims)

no money cheats, etc.

normal lifespan is recommended

have fun—if you don’t abide by this, you fail the challenge

The ‘Spice of Life’✨ Legacy Challenge

Sometimes playing the sims can get a little stale, and somewhat repetitive, especially The Sims 4. I know I can get stuck playing the same stories over and over again, so I decided to create this challenge to add a little excitement and variety to my, and hopefully your, game-play!

After all, variety is the spice of life!

Gen 1: The Wild Child

You’re a sim who loves to get down, go on adventures and spend time with other sims! You can be a bit of a handful for some sims, but that’s okay! You’ve been wild since the day you were born and you wouldn’t want to be any other way. You have about a million things you want to do in your life time and you’re gonna do them all!

Aspiration: Friend of the Animals

Traits: Dance Machine, Adventurous, Outgoing

Generation rules / goals:

Join the secret agent career and get to the top of it before your sim becomes an elder

Once your sim is an elder have them start a new job, keep them on their toes!

Complete the Friend of the Animals aspiration

Master the Dance & Pet training skills throughout your sims lifetime

Have five animals in your sims house-hold at one time (these should be cats, dogs, raccoon, foxes, etc.) - you don’t always have to have five but you should at some point

Have you sim have at least 10 friends and having a falling out with one of them and become enemies

Have a best-friend that is NOT your partner / spouse

Have your sim go out at least once every weekend to either the club, the bar or somewhere else they can dance! They’re a dance machine remember!

Your sim can have as many children as you like, but keep in mind that they have a lot of animals in the house

You must have at least one child in order for them to become heir, they can be adopted or biological, it doesn’t matter!

Go on at least two family vacations, one of these must be to Mt. Komorebi

Have your sim be a very relaxed parent, no rules, no pressure to get good grades, etc. (Parenthood is needed for this but if you don’t have it that’s okay just do your best without it!)

This book is now on my 'read soon' list 💖

just finished "history is all you left me" by adam silvera and i have to say it's induced a type of bittersweet pain books rarely give you.

the way the main character griffin constantly finds himself torn between either honoring his tragically deceased boyfriend, thus restricting himself in building up a future with new people, or letting go of the past and beginning to live again without him is so well illustrated that you're hurting with him the entire time. their story is so complicated and beautiful that in some chapters i didn't quite know what to do with myself & its what i love about silveras books so much.

i definitely recommend reading it as well as looking into other books by adam silvera!

Rush by Maya Banks was one of the most thrilling, erotic, breathless starter books for a trilogy I have ever read. I am half way through the second book 'Fever' I expect it to be the same or better than the first book. I got attached to the characters and everything they did shocked and surprised me. Truly a good book.
