The amount of times a Magi ship tag appeared on Pixiv on October 15, 2021.
If you never realized how much Sinja dominates this fandom, here you go. More than 1/4 of all the Magi ship art and fics on Pixiv are Sinja, and the tag itself is three times as big as the second largest tag. Just because some of the tags are big... it doesn’t tell much about their current popularity. Most of the material in these were made during Magi’s peak popularity, so when the anime was airing or right after it. The way the fandom sees characters and ships has, of course, changed since then. Therefore, it’s important to remember that the ships that are popular now are not going to follow this graph. In fact, the most active Magi ship tags currently, in late 2021, are (in no order): Sinja, Alakou, Alimor, Jafali, and Juhaku. Well, Sinja is the most active, but the rest are not in order. What is interesting about this is that Alakou, for example, did not make it on the graph (it’s in “the rest” blob), yet it’s still one of the most active Magi ship tags currently.
You can also compare this with my AO3 chart to see how the shipping preferences of the English-speaking and Japanese-speaking fans differ and match. I would say that both AO3 and Pixiv have such a bias that there are more likely to be slash shippers, so I think the sites are comparable with each other. (Although AO3 is missing some fics from the very early part of the fandom).
Below the cut is a text description of the graph:

The amount of times a Magi ship tag appeared on Archive of Our Own on December 3, 2021.
Note that this only includes the times when the fic in question was tagged with “Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic” as one of the fandoms.
Since one fic can have multiple ship tags, these results obviously overlap on multiple fics. The “Other” section is a bit problematic because it is possible that its size is slightly bigger than that, and it simply overlaps with the other tags. However, the actual number probably doesn’t differ from the one presented in the graph by any significant amount.
Below the cut is a text description of the graph:
Juhaku (Judar/Hakuryuu); 493; 18%
Sinja (Sinbad/Ja’far); 456; 16%
Sinju (Sinbad/Judar); 213; 8%
Alimor (Alibaba/Morgiana); 104; 4%
Alihaku (Alibaba/Hakuryuu); 79; 3%
Alikou (Alibaba/Kougyoku); 62; 2%
Cassali (Cassim/Alibaba); 61; 2%
Sphintitus (Sphintus/Titus); 57; 2%
Sinbad/Reader; 53; 2%
Sharryamu (Sharrkan/Yamraiha); 49; 2%
Juala or Judala (Judar/Aladdin); 43; 2%
Enja (Kouen/Ja’far); 43; 2%
Soloshe (Solomon/Sheba); 36; 1%

now that it seems that twitter and discord have won the “next fandom platform” battle, take a moment to think about it.
twitter is pretty bad for fandoms so generally i would say that they are thriving much better on discord. but discord spaces are very isolated. while on tumblr you could have one blog and rise into fandom-fame and be known even to people who were not tumblr users necessarily, on discord, you are only known to the servers you’re in. no outsider can witness your work and give you glory. you can’t rely on discord alone if you want to share things as widely as possible; you are reliant on also using some other online platform if that’s your goal.
