“Well, that’s not what I expected.” Ina said, her eyes still on the door that you had stormed off to.

“Me neither. James really blew it.” Nadia said, blinking rapidly before lifting herself up to look at him. “Ah, he just punched the ship.”

“I’m going after her.” Ryan declared, more to himself than to his teammates before lifting himself off the ground. Before sprinting your way, however, he shifted his weight to turn back to his teammates.

“Keep him busy, I doubt it’s a good idea to let them near each other right now.”

“Roger that.” Leifsdottir said, two fingers coming to her temple before tilting his way. “Let’s get moving Rizavi.”

Three years could change someone, and you’d been gone for much longer than that.

Before you were taken away from earth you had just freshly decided to take a break from your relationship with James Griffin, that was quickly becoming noticed by the higher-ups at the Garrison for his exemplary grades, skill, and behavior. You don’t remember why you both thought that a break was needed when you could’ve ended it right there, considering the hurtful words that were thrown around.

And most of them still hurt you.

This is one of my favourite scenes from S7 for multiple reasons. Some of these reasons are:

The low-key jaith (let me have this. they may look at each other a lot but they don’t talk much and all I want is to see them have a conversation)

“I’ve got to get me one of those” (are you sure the wolf is all you want, James? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

James. Just James

Serious/focused Lance (I love goofy Lance but his serious scenes are where he really shines)

Keith and Lance working together. It’s been a while

ALL THE KIDGE SCENES. It’s been ages since they’ve been paired together. They work so well with each other.

Kinkade and Lance working together! (I’m a strong believer in the “paladins will mentor the mfe pilots” theory so I think that Lance is going to be Kinkade’s mentor)

Kinkade doesn’t really stick out to me much as a character but I think he really shines in this scene. It’s nice to see his skills.

Voltron characters as animals but not for the reason you think

Keith- an alligator: hides for a while and tries to make you think he’s a log

Hunk- a koala: loves being hugged and everyone wants to protect him but he has an issue with falling asleep in the middle of the roads sometimes

Coran- a platypus: poison on his feet. don’t touch those.

Lance- a peacock: will show you his ass if he feels threatened

Pidge- a bat: can be found hanging upside down from the air vents from time to time. likes raisins. watch out

Allura- a bunny: everyone loves her, cute as fuck, will bite your finger thinking it’s a carrot if she’s sleepy enough

Shiro- an elephant: stressed out and sad, loves his family, it’s fun to sit on his back while he slowly walks in a circle

Matt- a raccoon: lives in your trash can and only minds it a little. it’s free real estate.
