Luisa Fortuna from RDR1 is such an underrated character and I stand behind the thought that she is one of the best characters of this game thanks to her strong personality.

(SPOILER ALERT

RED DEAD REDEMPTION 1)

This young girl lost everything she had; her house, her family, but despite all of this she never lost her indomitable personality, she kept fighting for Mexico, giving everything she had and more just to make from her country a better place, somewhere where they could have freedom and liberty.

Sadly at the end all her sacrifices are forgotten with her quick death, the death of this young fighter who gave everything she had, even her own life for a better future of opportunities.

Thinking about the contrast between RDR2 and RDR1 John Marston:

In the second game he was a man who couldn’t bear with the fact that he had a family, getting drunk every now and then, putting in doubt being the father of Jack and constantly arguing with Abigail when she asked him to be minimally responsible. In that moment his family wasn’t even one of his priorities, and it wasn’t until the end when he started looking for them.

In the first game (being this one set 12 years apart from the events of the second game) we can see that now he’s a grown up man who really cares for his family, which is now his main priority, he spent the whole game moving heaven and earth just to assure the well-being of his wife and child.

I love the evolution of the character of John, he became way more mature and had a good head on one’s shoulders.

I would personally say that my favorite chapter is the Horseshoe Overlook one, I know it’s very clitché but I just love the way everyone is happy and reunited together, also, the view from the camp is amazing, totally love it!! ✰𐂂

I absolutely adore the way in which each and every character of RDR2 has a different accent, especially those of Sean and Molly, I wouldn’t get tired of hearing them talk, their accents are so special and original, love them!!

I wish we could know more about Landon Ricketts!! When I was playing RDR1 and I got to the part in which John meets him, Ricketts immediately reminded me of those typical mysterious but super kick-ass protagonists of those Hollywood spaghetti western films!!

I found Mr Ricketts and the history he might had behind so interesting!

Also, loved the relation he and John had going on, talking like friends that met a long time ago!!
