After watching Yingdu ep6 I think I need to rewatch LC as a whole and write down everything to make sense of the changes and timelines.

I don’t know how I feel about this last episode yet, but my chest feels heavy because I’m worried about Lu Guang and how the story will continue.

personally I think it’s a shame how fandoms “died” too soon these days. I’m not talking in literal sense and I know there are people who stay passionate about their fandoms long after the hype is gone. I’m talking about the “popularity” and how people in general engage with a piece of media they like and how fast they let the hype die down? I don’t know if I’m making any sense, but what I’m trying to say is a fanfic or a fan art of a show that is recently released will get tons of likes, comments, reblogs which is great. but the engagement for fan made content about that same show usually drops drastically — and I mean drastically — once the show is no longer “recent”. and I’m not even talking about when the show is several years old. because you can see the significant drop of engagement a fanfic or fan art about that show receives once the show is like a month old or two. it’s discouraging how most people tend to lose interest and stop engaging with fanfic / fan art once its source material is no longer “new and shiny”.

especially when writing fanfics and creating fan art take time. writers and artists often receive less engagement / appreciation for their works if they take “too long” to create and the source material is no longer “new and shiny” and so people move on to something else that’s new and shiny. it’s heartbreaking to see.

obviously this is in no way to manipulate or guilt trip people into engaging with anything. because yeah you can do whatever you want. this isn’t to force, manipulate or guilt trip anyone into liking or reblogging a fan work or anything. this is just me hoping people will one day take things slower and enjoy things they’re passionate about longer like how we used to in the past.

I started Douse Koishite Shimaunda only for Airu and now that I’ve read the manga… I can confirm I love him and he’s the only one I care about.

I just loved the plot twist of him being gay instead of another straight guy pining for the girl, so I wish the author could add another twist and make him end up with Kizuki.

It’s painfully slapped on your face that Kizuki is the “main” guy Mizuho just won’t move on from, and it’s boring to see all this messy situation bring us to what? The same relationship?

I’m kinda biased here because I’m definitely not the target audience for harem and reverse harem stories, but I don’t think it has anything to do with how annoying and bordering on harassment the boys get when they’re trying to make her fall for them, especially Kizuki.

On the other hand, Airu basically accepts he’ll never be loved by Kizuki and he’s supportive even in the present. At this point the hets are pushy as fuck and he’s just there suffering and being a good friend. LOL

There are some things that are confusing me and make me hope for a twist, but I’m not sure the author cares enough to make the gay guy happy with his childhood love he clings to in a reverse harem where the focus is the girl.

I just want him to be happy, I teared up every time he was in pain and his story and character seem the most interesting to me.

I haven’t even watched stranger things, I just see them on my followings but now I’m invested and need to know if Byler happened or not. Like I need to know what happened to the kiss, I need to know if the guy with bangs (I don’t know his name) is happy. I need byler to be the endgame without knowing a single thing about the plot because the chemistry I can see by just looking at the random gif is crazy.
