Apollo can be found in the absentminded strumming of a classic guitar, a familiar and gentle dance practiced many times before. Carefully, lovingly, shaped and polished wood perched on a knee, glowing in the golden afternoon sun, and waiting patiently to sing to the world.

Sometimes the gods will tell you things you don't want to hear. Things you wish weren't true.

Sometimes they'll give you advice that feels too difficult to follow.

Sometimes the gods will challenge you to do better and be better.

It's not a personal attack. It's their desire to watch you grow and become happier and more fulfilled. They can see what you want and they know how to help you cut a path to it.

It isn't a test. It isn't a trick.

It's simply love.

Sometimes the gods will seem like they aren't there, but they are.

Sometimes you will feel like a small child learning how to ride a bike. You can feel the hands on your shoulders, you can hear their voice close by. Then, suddenly, you don't feel their hands and their voice is farther away.

They didn't abandon you in your time of need. They're watching you take everything they've taught you to apply it. They've got the band-aids if you need them, and they're standing at the top of the driveway watching.

They cannot pedal that bike for you. They cannot hold onto the bike so you never fall.

They're watching you and they are proud. They are proud even if you fall down or crash.

Don't panic. Now's your time to show them what you've learned! Go as far as you can. You're not alone.

make it clear that antisemitism won’t be tolerated on your blog. jews are feeling unsafe and helpless, and if you don’t say or do anything to help, then you’re just giving antisemites a place where they feel comfortable.

the gods show you the version of themselves that you need most, your experiences won't be identical to other worshippers/devotees out there because you are different from others and that's okay. that just adds to how beautiful the connection to the theoi really is.
