Honestly, though I've spoken to some of these blokes in passing, I'm only really acquainted with Marcus, and even so, I don't feel comfortable objectifying any of these men like this. My sister would likely be a better person to ask something like this.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years

Hopefully as a head healer in the Alchemy ward at St. Mungos working on new cures for some of our most threatening diseases and maladies.

I wouldn't be so quick to trust that people are being as honest with me as I'm being with them.

The Patil Family

Pureblood royalty (on their father’s side) from Jaipur, India, the Patil family moved to the UK when Padma and her twin sister Parvati were just 7 years old when their father, Pradosh was appointed Ambassador and sent to represent India in the British Department of International Magical Cooperation at the Ministry of Magic.  Though they were far from Wizarding Britain’s Sacred Twenty-Eight, the Patil bloodline could be traced back to the Pratihara Dynasty, a fact that, when discovered, earned Priyasha and her daughters immediate invitations to join the WWWS.       

Pradosh Patil - Indian Ambassador to the British Department of International Magical Cooperation at the Ministry of Magic.  Does not hide his views on Pureblood Supremacy, but believes that British Purebloods are lower class than Purebloods elsewhere in the world.  Believed in Voldemort’s mission but looked down his nose at the idea of serving a half blood.  Aided the Deatheater cause during the second wizarding war by creating a spell that disguised the location of a wand, making it virtually untraceable, essentially creating a VPN for wands.  He continues to act as Sebastian Rosier’s “wand guy” on the low, but keeps his identity secret so as not to be outwardly associated with the group.  

Priyasha Patil - A trained healer, Priyasha’s focus turned to the social scene once she married into the Patil family.  She had high hopes of giving birth to a son that would help carry on the family name, but had a rough pregnancy with her twin daughters and it was decided that they would stop there.  She focused instead on her philanthropic endeavors and made a career out of performing private cosmetic procedures for the wizarding elite out of her home office.  

Padma & her identical twin, Parvati, are both great sources of pride for their parents, and their extended family, but they’ve also brought a great amount of shame to the Patil name by fighting with Dumbledore’s Army, and siding against the Deatheaters in the Second Wizarding war.  Still, despite differing political views, and the fact that they are essentially the reason some members of society view the entire Patil family to be blood traitors, both Pradosh and Priyasha love their daughters and support their ability to make their own educated decisions and mistakes.  As far as they’re concerned, they’ll be there to pick up the pieces when both girls’ lives fall apart and they don’t have anybody left.  Until then, they agree to disagree on issues of blood status and secretly hope that neither of the girls falls in love with a muggle.  They still provide for both girls financially and have no plans on stopping.

How do you feel about Astoria & Goyle as a couple? Will they last? Will society accept them? Will Goyle still fuck you?

I don't feel much of anything. If they're happy, I'm happy for them. Best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous future.

Padma lives in a two bedroom flat on the top floor of a three level walk up in a neighborhood just off Diagon Alley.  The building itself is owned by her cousins.  She’s a homebody and spends the majority of her time when she’s not studying to be a mediwitch or working at the bakery at home reading and working on her thesis.

Mention the Patil twins and most people will be quick to tell you they read Parvati’s last gossip column or comment on the Veronica Rosier gown she wore to the last wizarding society event.  Ask about Padma?  If you happen to be asking one of the few people she was friends with back in Hogwarts, they’ll tell you she’s much quieter than her identical twin.  That she’s got a wicked sense of humor that she usually keeps to herself, and that she’s far too kind for her own good.  

Padma’s spent her entire life living in the shadow of her identical twin sister Parvati, who’s ironically the younger of the two of them.  She doesn’t mind though, she prefers as much.  Introverted by nature, she takes a while to warm up to people, but once she does, Padma’s ridiculously loyal, almost to a fault.  She’s far too trusting, and far too forgiving - something that close friends have chastised her for throughout the years after seeing her get hurt over and over again by her sister.  See, she loves Parvati, they’re best friends, but Padma tends to let the girl walk all over her.  She spent the majority of Hogwarts helping Parvati with her hairbrained schemes to get the attention of whatever bloke she was interested in that week and as such, missed the chance to have that kind of experience herself.  

Well… properly at least.  There was that one thing during sixth year, but she doesn’t talk about that to anybody.

She fought with Dumbledore’s Army in the War and while her loyalty still lies with the light, she’s also tired of feeling like she has to choose sides all the time.  While she didn’t like the ideals of the Wizarding World Witches Society that she and Parvati joined when they turned 10 (and left after third year), she still counts the girls, most of them Pureblood Slytherins, that she befriended there as some of her good friends, and hates that some of her other friends don’t think she should maintain those friendships.

It’s not that she’s giving people passes and forgetting which side they fought on during the war, but she realizes that some people didn’t necessarily have a choice when it came to what they did, and she’s not going to hold that against them.  Everybody deserves a second chance.

Since graduation, Padma’s decided to continue her education by studying to become a mediwitch at St. Mungos.  She’s particularly interested in whether some of the more bothersome maladies that seem to baffle healers and mediwitches can be treated by muggle methodology, and spends a decent amount of time on muggle college campuses researching as well.  Though the Patil family is wealthy enough to finance her studies, she believes in hard work and has a part time job at a bakery a few blocks away from the small flat she keeps in Diagon Alley so she can support herself and start building her own savings. 

She enjoys reading for pleasure, watching quidditch, dancing, cooking, and going fast.  Padma doesn’t gossip as much as her sister, she’s more likely to sit back and retain the information she overhears and save it for later.  More recently, Padma’s been making more of an effort to step outside of her comfort zone.  Being immersed in the war and losing a close friend, Lavender Brown, was a reminder of how short and fleeting life actually is, and she wants to live hers without any regrets.  That means doing what she wants without worrying so much about what others might think about her.
