This afternoon I drove up Millcreek Canyon in Utah's Wasatch Mountains to find river bell ice to photograph. Its been so warm this December the bells didn't form in areas I've found them in before. However, as I drove higher up the canyon I saw places where the ice has formed, melted and reformed, not in the decorative rows of bells I wanted, but I like the contrasts, textures, colors and forms in this particular location.
