hey friends, i have news. i returned to writing about a month ago and haven’t really posted much, i have been writing by myself i just haven’t been posting bc most of it isn’t the usual fanfic i create for you guys. my absence and this past month has unfortunately showed me that writing the way i used to doesn’t align with the person i am anymore.

i’m going to deactivate this blog and create another one, all of my old writing will remain here and it meant the world to me for you all to support me while you did. my new blog will have fanfic like my old one, but will be a lot more personalized and be mostly for me to use as a creative outlet for my art instead of taking asks and things like that.

for now, i haven’t decided if i wanna continue taking requests bc i’ve realized i feel so heavily burnt out sometimes when i only write for other people and it disconnects me from my love for literature. i can’t make any promises to cater anymore, if i want to write smth i will regardless of who wants to read it.

all i know is, i have so much appreciation and love for everyone who has been kind to me or supported my fanfic over the last few years. i would adore to keep in contact or to be mutuals w you guys so i’ll post my new username for those who would like to follow me. genuinely, this blog has changed me so much as a person and has completely transformed my writing and i cannot wait to see how life changes next but i can’t have the dead weight of my past expectations for myself prevent me from exploring a future where i’m happy.

and i can finally say that i am happy. i love myself, more than i ever thought i would when i started this blog and so many of you have helped with that. truly, thank you all for making me believe i was good at something for the first time in my life, i can’t wait to see what else i can do!

One of the best writing advice I have gotten in all the months I have been writing is "if you can't go anywhere from a sentence, the problem isn't in you, it's in the last sentence." and I'm mad because it works so well and barely anyone talks about it. If you're stuck at a line, go back. Backspace those last two lines and write it from another angle or take it to some other route. You're stuck because you thought up to that exact sentence and nothing after that. Well, delete that sentence, make your brain think because the dead end is gone. It has worked wonders for me for so long it's unreal
