How Oscar's story combines the themes of "Providing Emotional Support(Ozpin, Ruby, Jaune)" and "Being True to Oneself(Penny)"

caring for others and providing them proper emotional support and warmth...

These are concepts that characters like Ozpin, Ruby and Jaune follow through with as people who inspire others.

However, as we seen from Volume 9, there are limitations to this as a result of repressing emotions

Penny's Arc revolves around staying true to oneself, being a very sincere character especially when it comes to Ironwoods new orders

Both themes have been brought up in the show but become closer together when it comes to Oscar's story where he has the potential to combine both which allows him to work with Ozpin in supporting the others

BY trying to stay true to himself

In Volume 6, Oscar admits he's been thinking about the same issues as the others which is why he decides to cook for them

In Volume 7, Ironwood mentions Oscar sounds like Ozpin when they first see the vault but applies what he went through with Ozpin's secrets to tell help Ruby tell the truth to Ironwood

In Volume 8, Oscar makes it clear they can still be united even when apart to ease Ruby into allowing the team to split up since there not doing anything right now

In RWBY Beyond, helps Jaune cause of the whole Rusted Knight thing as they both see the similarities in their experiences
