Halloween in LA
With Halloween around the corner Costume ideas and things to do are on everyone’s minds! So I have done all you lazy college students a favor by picking together some of the hottest and most talked about events and trends in and around LA!
First off you cant head to any Halloween event without a costume. Here’s a couple ideas that can be pieced together from your wardrobe.
Tumblr media
Clark Kent / superman: This is always an easy costume idea as all you really need is a fancy dress suit and a plain ol superman shirt. Throw on a pair of wide frame glasses on and bam! Superman!
Tumblr media
Tomb raider: who doesn’t like a sexy, gun blazin bad ass Angelina Jolie as Tomb raider? With the new movie coming out in the new year, and being in Los angeles and seeing Hollywood films being made in our backyard it might not be a bad idea.
Tumblr media
Hugh Heffner: with the passing of the playboy creator and legend earlier this year. Its only appropriate to bring out your wood pipe, and bathrobe, throw your around around some bunnies and call out for some hunnies! No but seriously R.I.P hugh Heffner and this costume idea is for you!
Tumblr media
Donald Trump: Duh! He’s only the greatest president of all time and believe me when I say that… haha but seriously, it will be a funny gag idea. Every party needs a trump! For all the P*** grabbing and Firing! Someone’s gotta do it!
So now you have some Halloween costume ideas for 2017, What’s a better way to spend this haunted season then hitting up the hottest LA venues! There’s many attractions from Universal studios haunted maze, to the Escape rooms around los Angeles, the haunted hay ride, and even Escape from wonderland by insomniac events.
Universal studios currently have the Halloween horror nights. With current horror film characters roaming around the theme park, scaring patrons. The cost is roughly $100 per person. Making it one of the more expensive entertainment.
Escape rooms around los angles is a fun puzzle and maze where you have to figure your way out of multiple rooms. Basically picture the movie saw where multiple people start in a room and are given hints to solve puzzles. Here are the top 5. escape rooms in LA; 1. Hex room, 2. Da Vinci, 3. Bloody Elbow, 4. Magic kingdom, 5. Alchemist. They all range in price from $32 to $66 or group rooms from $160. So grab a friend and escape your way out of Halloween!
Tumblr media
Insomniac has their seasonal music festival taking place in san Bernardino. Headlining some of the current top DJ’s . for a price of $129 you can experience an electric dance music festival. I highly recommend going to at least one of the days, and $129 isnt a bad price to see multiple artists at multiple stages. The two-day pass goes for $220 making this a perfect weekend get away and party your ass off! After all you’re too old to be trick or treating, but not old enough to be sitting in the front porch with your grandma passing out candy.
