Hey there, general notice because a few other people have seen it as well

There’s an art tracer we’ve seen around in madness combat

^ This was done by 3m3raldgr0ve/bioluminescentvi0lance

We saw the art, thought it was pretty cool, and looked around their art tag

Something stood out to us when we were looking through, though, and had to compare it because it was immediately recognizable as a traced piece

No credit for the original piece on their blog (loor2mago on twitter). Perhaps they thought they didn’t need to due to the fact that they used it for a different source material, but still.

For this one, we couldn’t find the original artist due to the fact that the ref is an image found on pinterest.

I’m mainly making this post to warn others about the theft. Don’t harass, but perhaps check if your art has also been stolen, as this is pretty blatant theft and there are more pieces that appear to be traced

I’ll never understand why anthropomorphic animal cartoons like Robin Hood and Zootopia will go to the trouble of creating character designs that are meant to be understood as “attractive” or even “sexy” to the human audience but explicitly avoid showing interspecies romances between anthropomorphic animals. Why is THAT weird but, like, trying to make rabbits recognizably sexy-coded to humans isn’t?

It was worth it trying to draw these two bugs interacting, I feel like I’m getting better in drawing Cybernetics :D
