Probably been asked before, but, you ever feel interested in doing a one-shot with Sonic in his daily life?
sorry, I'll probably never do anything sonic related, I'm just not really into the sonic games :)

If you ever do do a comic of Mario having a breakdown and Luigi comforting him, I just know that it would be the most amazing, wholesome and heartwarming comic, we love to see Mario being the vulnerable one and Luigi comforting his big brother. Always such a great concept, and your storytelling is always amazing
Thank you for the compliments, I appreciate it - would be good to see more vulnerable Mario

Following up to the other anon: What is a scenario you could see Mario having a break down over?
I'd love to hear you thoughts about this but of course only if you want to :). No pressure.
That is a tricky question. Maybe a scenario where he has little to no control - a situation where despite his best effort, he cannot control the outcome. Mario is very hardworking and is very dedicated to what he does. he works until he succeeds - might take a while, but he'll always get there eventually - It would be interesting to put him in a high-stakes situation where he ultimately fails What do you think? :)

Bouncing off that last anon. Do you think you would ever make a little comic showing that scenario of Mario reaching his limit? Cuz I know there are plenty of fans that would love to see that if and only if that’s ever something you would want to do.
We love to see Mario being vulnerable/having that much needed break down and Luigi being there for him.
It is definitely something I'd be interested in. But it would be challenging to make something that feels not cringe to read, it's a lot of extreme emotions. I think it would be more than a single comic. A scenario like that needs proper buildup to feel satisfying in my opinion. I can't just show the breaking point, otherwise it will feel a bit empty :)

Do you think there would ever be a scenario where Mario would snap under the pressure he’s under and break down. Granted that would probably take something monumental to make him snap but I feel even he would have his own limits.
I wonder how Luigi would handle it seeing his big brother in such a state. What do you think?
It could happen, everyone has a breaking point, even Mario. I think Luigi would be heartbroken if his brother was pushed to the breaking point. Seeing someone you care about being hurt is never nice :(

The way the atmosphere starts in cool, sad, low tones but brightens steadily as they talk is so accurate to how it feels when a sibling picks you up from feeling down! Super wonderful!!! I love your comics !!
Thank you, glad that they resonated with you <3

I've been loving your work from twitter and i am so glad you guys are here too! So i've got to ask: what's your fav mario game? I know it sounds basic but i just wanna know out of curiosity!
This is where I reveal I actually haven't played many of the games, so it's a tough one to answer. I think one of my favs is Mario and Luigi Bowser's inside story. Simply because of how Bowser is written. That game has given Bowser SO much personality, and I am loving it - also it has really good animation (the original, not the remastered version)

Do you think Mario has moments where the pressure of being the Mushroom Kingdoms protector gets too much for him to bear? Or where he feels like he’s not good enough and or brining Luigi down? Even he has his limits. I feel like if that does happen Luigi would do whatever he could to help his brother feel better and show how much he loves him and how he most definitely doesn’t bring him down.
Definitely, but he would never show it. I see Mario as the kind of person who puts others' well-being before his own. I don't think he understands his own limits very well, and he often pushes himself too far, especially if it's for the benefit of others. Maybe deep down he realizes what he is doing, but I think he's too stubborn to stop. After years of having so many expectations of him, he can't fail, he's Mario! Failure is probably something he fears, even the smallest of failures. I think Luigi sees this and gently tries to make Mario relax. I don't think it's an easy job, because once Mario has started a task, little to nothing will stop him until he has achieved his goal. He's very driven like that. I also think through the years Mario has had to deal with a lot of uncomfortable things. It would be good for him to sit down and work through his emotions, but it would also mean allowing himself to become vulnerable. I don't think he wants that. So he works, to distract himself. I think he's the kind of person who constantly has to do something, he can't sit still, or he will become uneasy. To sum it up, I think Mario is overworked and there's a lot of pressure on him, but he never stops working long enough to deal with it -

HI HELLO I HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELLLLL!!!!!!!!! I saw your comics before and I just want to say I find them AMAZING!!! THEY’RE SO WHOLESOME AND ADOREABLE AND IT REALLY SHOWCASES THE BONDS BETWEEN THE MARIO BROS!!!! And other characters when they come into play!!!
Now…I haves a question!! I understand if it doesn’t really…fit, and that it seems rather random…but I’m curious about it!! So I hope that’s okay!! <:0
It’s about the more Luigi’s Mansion side of things, spesifically ghost hunting!!
So…Luigi and whoever else he brings on ghost hunting journeys go capturing what are basically sentient beings!!! Like- ghosts are shown to be sentient! They think and feel; they’re just like the living!! …except they’re not living. You know what I mean!!
So…is there a moral dilemma to this?? I KNOW THIS IS SOMETHING SUPER SPECIFIC AND MAYBE NOT THAT IMPORTANT TO THE MARIO UNIVERSE BUT IT HAS BEEN ON MY MIND FOR SO LONG NOW!!!!!
But Yeah!! I’ll leave this ask here then!! Once again,I hope you have a wonderful day/night/whatever time it is for you Cuz you deserve it!!! Thank you so much for listening!!!!! :D
Heya, thank you so much <3 Btw I love specific questions, so that's great! Ah, for me personally it's a dilemma. E. Gadd is basically trapping sentient beings into small chambers they can't escape from. Who can blame King Boo for being just a little pissed off given the circumstances? If you are referring to how the characters might feel about it, I could actually imagine Luigi feeling quite torn about it. Especially in Luigi's Mansion 3 where he either fights/captures the ghosts or risks losing his brother and friends forever. Luigi having to deal with the consequences of his choices, especially when big stakes are involved is really interesting, and I actually have a rough story written out about it - one where Luigi has to make a tough choice that goes against his morale. Hope that answered your question :D

Okay so for the Spike comic, Spike is obviously hiding the fact that he's gay, but I think it's so fucking funny to think about him coming out to Mario and Luigi and they both look at each other and Luigi says, in Italian, "Is he flirting with us?" and Mario just shrugs
Hiding, it not-so-well :D I don't think Mario would pick up on it, that guy is super dense when it comes to this kinda stuff, haha.. Maybe Luigi would (if he isn't too distracted eating his pancakes) If Luigi noticed, he would not comment on it, both because he's non-confrontational, but also out of respect for Spike. It's none of Luigi's business to comment on Spike's "alleged" sexuality, especially if Spike didn't invite the conversation. Spike at this point isn't ready to come out to anyone, not even himself. It will take a lot of time and a lot of good experiences before he gets to that point :)

The way the Koopa and toad interactions were is just pure gold I hope they have a wonderful conversation about their species’ quirks 💜
Thank you. I can imagine it being one of those conversations that spans hours but does not feel like it. I wanna delve into this more at some point. Currently, I'm wanting to do a comic where the Koopa (Kevin) is enamored by a rainstorm. I don't think they get a lot, if any rain in the darklands. It's easy to take things for granted because we are used to them. It rains a lot where I am from, and sometimes I can get annoyed by it. But then I try to remind myself that I'm lucky to live in a place where we get rain in the first place. I think I would miss it if it disappeared one day. Maybe that would be an interesting topic for the comic, idk :)
