Zill already felt horrible for forgetting, as he knew he shouldn’t have. He even had the day markied on his calander, put in all his books, yet, he still forgot...

Jack probably should’ve expected to receive flowers that were beyond dead and literally falling apart or just literally no gift after the first time the guy struggled to keep Kayla, but no. He had his hopes set just a bit too high, he thought maybe he could receive something from Zill, or at least live with the satisfaction knowing their relationship wasn’t forgotten.
