How do you think Vox ( + The Vees ) will react to Alastor's true identity as the angel of death (Azrael) ?
Thank you for the ask! I love these kinds of questions because it helps flesh out some ideas ^^
It got a little long so answer under the cut
Velvette is probably impressed that Vox had a friendship, now rivalry with an archangel. That being said she'll call him an absolute idiot for not realising it, and try to find a way to use this to their advantage. Could they get him on their side? Blackmail? There has to be an advantage they can use right?
Valentino is probably suddenly a lot less joking about teasing Vox for his obsession with taking him down. Wouldn't admit it, but probably scared now he knows the vast difference in power and stature between them and Alastor/Azrael. They have physically fought before and got owned, now they know he was holding back on them by not using his full Angelic powers.
Vox is probably in denial at first and thinks Azrael killed Alastor and took his place at some point. But he'd eventually have to come to terms with the fact the person he's obsessed with is the literal Angel of death. And then come to the conclusion that him being an Angel was the only reason he turned him down.
He'd probably start bragging that he was so great that even an Angel wanted to be his friend before they went their seperate ways, and the fact that the Angel of death hasn't killed him proves that he must feel something for him. He's 85% bravado, because he would be reeling and struggle with the fact that his old friend wasn't who he thought he was. He doesn't really know what to do with this new information, and it's driving him mad because he wanted to do something about it.
Azrael himself would be annoyed they found out at all. Even more so now his little rivalry (which he never saw as anything but a fun game with Vox) had changed and won't be as fun now.
